Our pleasure! Thank you for enjoying it with us! As you know we have many more videos on our channel and even more on Africa's Sportman's channel. Enjoy them all!
It's definitely not needed. I've never heard of anyone every being attacked on the front seat. I've seen videos of leopard attacking a vehicle and strangely enough they always go for the top, not the front. The danger isn't close to the vehicle, it's when walking in the bush tracking lion.
Although it is legal in some countries it isn't the way most like to hunt. I do use drone to assist finding a wounded animal though. The challenge is to do it on foot, walking the tracks. Thanks for the comment and thanks for watching.
Yes, it's more clear for sure. It wasn't the easiest one to film. Most of these lion hunts are tough due them normally hiding in the shade while it's very bright everywhere else. It worked out OK though. Thanks for watching!
Добрый день! Ребята я не пойму для чего вы убивайте Львов? Они опасно для местных жителей, и для домашних животных? Почему вы охотиье на Львов? Спасибо

@obakengtsatsiable Best will be if you ask the trackers what their opinions are. Have you ever thought that maybe they don't want to be in the introduction? Have you thought about their culture, religion, and needs?
great video guys just a couple questions from a avid Canadian hunter ive taken bears, moose, elk, cougars. 1. why do you run side by side barrels instead of a semi auto, 2. why track the lion instead of just setting up camp on the watering hole and waiting with a rifle with a scope that can take animals 1-2-300 yards away. 3rd is lion meat as great as i think it would be in a stew?
Ok. They didn’t care to reply. But will answer it from India 🙄😳 1. They were not shooting pheasants with an semi automatic shotgun. For dangerous animal like lion, you need what they are shooting. Side by side double rifle 2. Tracking keeps you healthy & alert. 3. Lion meat is not HALAL MEAT. That is, ONLY HYENAS & Vultures eat dead carnivores. 😱
Hi Jared, sorry for the late reply, I was on a trip and had very bad signal. Thanks to both @bahubalbaba7886 and @jozefhorvat3625 for their replies. They pretty much summed it up perfectly. #1. Double rifles carry a higher impact for big game. Semi automatic are normally for birds or small prey. They aren't as accurate. The classic way is a double rifle. #2. It's not only good for the hunter but also a fair hunt giving the lion opportunity to flee or charge, which they often do. #3. Lion meat is good, most people eating it when they don't know what it is, like it. It's a mental block, if you know what it is you probably won't like it. Once again sorry for the late reply, thanks for watching and for your support.
As mentioned before, all the hunts I film are part of sustainable utilization programs designed to protect the land and habitat where thousands of animals live and breed.
3500ha is tiny, absolutely no chance for lion, and no, that is not as real as it gets Stefan. And you should know that. Surely deep down decent blokes like you know this "canned hunt" is the poor man's lion hunt, an adrenaline fix where true ethics and honest love and respect for wild africa and its creatures takes a back seat to testosterone and bragging rights for the Manne. Money talks. PS I love hunting and the bush but these hunts don't sit well with me, the whole lion hunting industry in SA is a shameful stain on the sport, yet people like you champion it
In many ways I agree with you, but not completely. Stefan was trying to take something that has a very negative image and find a way where it can be more of a challenge. We carried everything we needed with us, it could have taken a week to find a lion or we could have been too tired before we even saw one. It worked out perfectly this time though. I've been on many lion hunts all over Africa and most of those true wild lions were less of a challenge than this. I've spoken to many outfitters (outside South Africa) and most of them agree that they won't do a lion hunt in South Africa but these hunts do take pressure of lions elsewhere. "Canned hunting" means different things to different people. I've seen some truly awful lion hunts back in the day when I started filming. In the past 20 years it have evolved into something that can have a place IF done correctly. Of course many outfitters are just after the money but we shouldn't judge everyone by the actions of some. It's not for everyone, personally I won't mind of they close it completely but I also think we should see what Stefan is trying to do here and not dismiss it so quickly. Thank you for your comment, I appreciate the time you put into it.
Now that to me would be an ultimate hunt! Thanks for taking us along and allowing us to live vicariously!

What a great hunt. Wow
Thanks! Much appreciated.
The seat at front of the jeep have no protection for the trackers it must be changed somehow build a shield or something in front of it.

Why Dont you guys use drones or technology to assist a hunt, you still essentially need to track the animals

Thanks for the comment and thanks for watching.
What is the name of the gun you are using?
I believe they were all shooting Verney-Carron, but I might be wrong. Beautiful rifles.
What caliber doubles do you guys carry?
It think these were all .500 NE. Verney Carron.
Thanks for watching!
I believe you for sure, pure adrenaline 😅😅 for me i would shit in my pants 😮
I'm not denying that it didn't happen with us also 🫣
The recap is more clearer to see

Gratulacje ! 👍
Dziękuję!
how big is the hunting area?
I'm not sure, I'll try and find out. I think it was mentioned on Africas Sportsmans Channel when the video was first released there.
You guys got some big balls I respect that
Well thanks! It really is a rush, never gets old. Thank you for watching.
Thanks
No problem
Great Hunt!
How much does a hunt like this cost?
Greetings from Germany
I guess $ 50 000+...
Novadays...
It changes often, best will be to contact the outfitter directly.
Thanks for watching and for your support.

Контролируемая охота является основой сохранения природы здесь, в Африке.
Brilliant video. Can I ask what calibre your double rifle is in? I’ve just subbed. Thanks for sharing! 🙏
Both hunters used Verney Carron Double Rifles .500NE with Hornady DGX 570gr bullets. Thanks for watching!
Greets and introduces everyone - except the black guys. why?
It's related to your job description. Some guys make it big on the movie, some don't. Nothing personal.
Can you pay in rand to the places you go
I'm sure you can in most. The ones further North in Africa won't, though. You'll have to convert to local currency.
Sterk gestaan! Goeie veldgidswerk! Ek sou verseker 'n briekmerk gehad het.
Stood your ground well! Good field guiding. I would have had a good brake mark in my trousers.
Ek is baie bly jul het die fliek geniet! Ja nee dit was 'n rowwe paar sekondes maar het gelukkig goed uitgedraai.
Dankie vir die kyk!
Why do the poor trackers not have guns 😢

They were not even introduced in the beginning of the segment, I doubt they care much for them.

1., Double rifles are more RELIABLE !!!
2., They are real hunters, NOT arseholes like those you mentioned...
3., Taste as any other fish meat...😂😂😂

this is wrong on so many levels
But needed on many levels.
3:20 American made bags...
10% more quality than Chinese made...
1000% more EXPENSIVE !!!😂😂😂👎👎👎
Haha, very true! On a trip like this you can't take the cheapest stuff, will only make life hard on yourself.
