Having hunted my own giant leopard in May of 2023, in Zimbabwe, I really enjoyed this video. It was an extremely well made video. I completely agree with this hunter, Frank Cean, as I thoroughly enjoyed every second of my hunt. The nights in the blind were intense and magical and being part of the entire baiting process and participating in building the blinds was so enjoyable as well. Perhaps my favorite hunt in my lifetime of amazing hunts. I remain in contact with my great PH, Bruce Conje, on a frequent basis and look so forward to photos from his continual adventures all across Zimbabwe, including the Zambezi Valley where this hunt took place. For those considering a leopard hunt, do it! You will have a once-in-a lifetime type experience!
In 1968 as a member of the BSAP Support Unit we lived on the Nyakasanga, sweeping daily for terrorist spoor coming from Zambia. We were the only humans in the entire area apart from a couple living on the old Chirundu sugar estates. As a lone escort I accompanied a surveyor on a walk from the Chewore mouth cross country as the crow flies to Kanyemba. The plains were full of different species, absolutely no humans apart from the two of us. That's the luxury road you drive on now.
1:02:58 Stunningly beautiful video so thanks for posting this. I hunted with Buzz in Chewore North out of the Big Five camp in 2005 for lioness and tuskless and it was fantastic.
