This is how I have always done them and they come out great. Looking forward to seeing other methods. I am a kind of beginner so these videos will be great, thank you!!

I love this method. You give very clear directions

I always use this method for all my triangles. They come out so much better. I use the pieces I cut off for stuffing plush or pin cushions.

Morning beautiful. As a relatively new quilter I don't have a favorite, but excited to learn the options. Accuracy for me would like this method.

I like this technique because my sewing is so wonky, my seams never turn out the same. This allows for the variation and then I can trim to perfect size.

I don't understand "fabric waste" when you can use it for stuffing. It's sturdier and doesn't break down like Polyfill 🤷 Definitely going to start with this method this year. I look forward to trying all the methods!

As a beginner quilter, I like that this method looks like it has a little more room for error. 😆

This is the method I use. I just finished my temperature quilt using HSTs. That made 366 last year.

Hi, can you show “spinning the seams”. When you press?

Thanks, I do like this method better. The leftover fabric looks like birds nests, so am saving for the birds.

I took a class years ago and several people complained about the waste. To me, 1/4 inch is not a waste . They went on and on and on about it

There are some folks who get very caught up about "waste" in quilting. They don't call a room full of fabric that they aren't using "waste." That's a stash. They don't call making a quilt that they end up not liking "waste", that is experience. They don't call the pieces of fabric left when cutting "waste", those are scraps. But the trimmings left when you square up so that you can have an accurate quilt... somehow that is a waste?? Boggles my mind.

I'm not a fan because, for me, it's just too time consuming. I do well with making them the correct size. I'm interested in all the other ways though.
