Good morning Holly. Right now I am watching my pileated woodpecker at my suet feeder. I have 4 different kinds of wood peckers who come but he is the biggest and most colorful. My bird feeder has been constantly busy since we got the snow. Love your hair cut. It make you look so much younger. Stay safe, stay warm and have a joyful day.
A pileated?! My sister volunteers for a bird banding station in our area and several years ago I took the grands out there to see the birds and how they are banded. We went out to check the net and there, caught in the net, was a big pileated and he was not happy. It took 3 well trained people to get him out of the net without getting injured. Bird was fine and oh so beautiful.

Hi Holly, I’m happy to see you! You have definitely been a bright spot in my day today and throughout the holidays! My husband had a total shoulder replacement surgery on Dec 2nd and I fractured my back on Dec 10th! Yeah, bad timing I know! We’ve been getting through it, as we have over the last 36 years together! If nothing else, we are survivors at best! LOL I’m definitely going to checkout the new shop you mentioned! Thank you!

i got my grandson a tshirt that said “if history repeats itself i am so getting a pet dinosaur”. i know last year the year color was teal but mustard popped up everywhere. this year it is purple so it will be something else 😂… i got my daughter who kills plants the dancing catus for kids… you can record you voice… it dances and plays all kinds of stuff. it was the hit of christmas!

Holly go shorter!When I first cut my long hair after my husband died, I learned that medium hair is hard! No way now, shorter is flattering on so many older women.Tons of styles and choices for all face shapes.😊Sometimes I put it off and start letting it grow,then I ( figuratively) slap myself and say " stupid, get it cut!"😂

I think your haircut is adorable! We had 8 inches of snow here in my corner of Mississippi on Friday. I enjoyed it by staying in and sewing. Everyone here has been having Flu A. I like that pattern, it looks fun, looks like a good way to use up leftover bindings and other large scrap that could be turned into strips.
The haircut is adorable! I ❤ it 😊. That second bundle is amazing! I don’t have a yoga blanket but a restorative yoga classs I sometimes attend gives us a flannel y throw blanket at final meditation cool down. Hope you can get back to yoga!

I just purchased a birdhouse on Amazon for my parents. It had a camera so they can watch the birds. But it also tells you what birds are visiting.

I ordered 2 Noir charm packs and a friction pen and about 3 yards of half yard cuts of fabric. And my budget is tight. But the prices were to good to pass up. I love the daisys. I got 4 crows coming everyday! EVERYDAY! They are so funny - one brought me a Christmas ornament! They really like those peanuts - between them the blue jays and squirrels. I have a ton of cardinals and sparrows.

Good morning to all & happy Wednesday! Holly, your new haircut is very flattering & frames your face beautifully. I think when you get used to it, you will like it more than you did at first. (I remember when I went from elbow-length to above-the-shoulders; it took a while before I was really happy with it, and now I wear it even shorter!)
Doing OK out here; dealing with bad air quality due to wildfires and high winds, but that's just part of living in So Cal. Good excuse to stay indoors doing quiet activities. My niece gave me a newly-published cross stitch book for Christmas, and Mr O gave me a complicated quilt pattern with appliqué & embroidery for our anniversary, plus I'm halfway through a re-read of "Soul Music" by Terry Pratchett so there's plenty to keep me occupied.
That sticker is so cute! With such tiny arms, a T-rex would need a big ol' needle like that just to reach the fabric, LOL. Speaking of fabric, the jelly rolls are rather pretty; I like the colors, and the snowdrop & daisy patterns are particularly nice. It will be interesting to see how they look all sewn up into the log cabin quilt (And yes, I could tell you were doing the Witch of the West 🙂"PAAAWWWpeeeees. PAAAWWWPeeeeeees will put them to sleeEEEeEEEep.") (Fun fact - the "snow" in that scene was made of asbestos - yikes!)
Wovens! I've never been able to find woven fat quarter bundles. Love the heart motifs on these. The shop-curated bundles are beautiful. The trailing plant in the first one makes me think of creeping Charlie, and I like that they threw a swallow print in with the plants just to shake things up a bit. When you opened the second bundle I thought it was just OK; then you put all three together and BAM! It fit in so well with the others. Lovely choices indeed.

Fabric is beautiful
I exercise with a random RUclips video, lately yoga with Adrienne has been my go to channel, I also like quite a few of the chair yoga workouts channels. As to the blanket size maybe something 70 by 55 or so?
I like the new hair length. I cut a bunch off mine recently. I wanted it still long enough to put in a ponytail if needed. It took a bit for me to get used to it too.
I loved the fabrics you got. In the last bundle, the teal woven matched your top. It is my favorite color!
I resisted the temptation of the sales because I need to sew from my stash this year. I went nuts buying fabric last year 🫣
Hi Holly! I love your hair! It looks so cute on you. It might hold the curl better after a week or so. Freshly cut hair sometimes has a mind of it's own. I think the blunt cut needs to soften. Putting everything together in a bag is a great idea. I sometimes forget what fabric goes with which pattern. Stay warm ❤🎉

😊your haircut is great, it's hard to get used to a shorter cut at first. Your first bundle would have been great for me for my towel tops. I'm trying use up my stash as much as possible, and only shop for needed items. It might be wishful thinking on my part.😂😂

I have never visited your channel before, but I have to comment that you look so much younger with the shorter hair. Give yourself a few weeks or months to get used to a new cut. Blessings!
Hi Holly, love the North Star fabrics. Can I suggest you using Castor oil for your Parkinson's. Rub it in twice a day, it could help.
I like your haircut. I understand your frustration. Maybe if you went a little shorter it might keep the curls longer? My thick hair did that because it wasn’t so heavy when it was shorter, but your hairdresser would know best for your hair. Love all the fabric and the pattern. I like your project organization. Same with yoga. With fibromyalgia it’s tough as I am super tight and it hurts
