This slow motion version is excellent and very useful (along with the normal version) for learning the kata. I was also greatly helped by your slow versions of Kanku Sho and Bassai Sho. I must say your videos on flexibility and mobility are interesting too. It is a pity your book has not been translated into English. Never mind, I am going to try my luck with my very rusty German (Ich habe Deutsch an der Schule gelernt, jetzt leider habe ich fast alles vergessen).
I'm so happy to read that. This is really the purpose of my Channel, to provide a helping hand. Indeed, the biggest success for me is, when I get such comments and get to know that the video is helpful ! Thank you for watching and commenting!
Thank you for the Adaptions to the Kata. I am a Para Karate Athlete. I have stroked on my right side... many of the Yoko Geri use the right leg for balance. Seeing your adaptions have given me hope that perhaps it’s possible to do the Kata with all left leg spins (right leg Yoko Geri,) without changing the Bunkai too much.
That's great and I want to say that Karate is a mean to express one self and has to be adept to each individual, with there own possibilities, to make Karate alive in your body, in your uniqueness. That's the beauty of it. All the best on your Karate-DO. Tanja
thank you sensei. great inspiring execution and really zen music which helped me to focus on the movement and to learn the kata. unlike the background music to other katas, which is too "funky electro beat" ... maybe it would be possible to change the other videos? this one is amazing though. a real meditation. much appreciated.
Great choice for music! So tired of forms videos with some obligatory, faux Asian pinko-pinko music as the background. And of course, beautiful execution!
Guter Kanal schönes Karate von dir.Karate machte ich auch mal machte Spaß.Habe jetzt 5 Schülergrad im Wing Chun Grün Gurt, kannst ja gern mal in meinem Kanal rein schauen wenn du magst.
As far as I know it’s called: “tsuruashi dachi”, which you can translate with: “crane on the rock”. You can also call it: “gankaku gamae”, because it’s the specific position in that Kata.
Bonjour madame Tanja Mayern , je vous remercie pour votre video , cela vas me permettre a apprendre le kata et a le perfectionné au dojo,
