By choking up, you are also decreasing the leverage point.
todd Frazier tried this out and hit a homerun by throwing the bat at the ball
When you choke up, it moves the weight closer to your hands which allows for more whip of the bat increasing your bat speed. Also, it gives you more control of the bat allowing you to change paths easier
A major leauger actually did let go of the bat right before contact and he did hit a home run!
I was at that game. I think it was Jose Bautista. I winded up getting a huge blister on my hand after catching it barehand.
It also happened in Toronto by Jose Bautista.
That was last year and it was awesome! It was Todd Frazier of the Reds
Yeah Todd Frazier did that from the Cincinatti Reds
Baseball. The collision of cow and wood mixed in to one sport
That why he hit the home run even though he threw his bat...
Todd Frazier from the Cincinnati Reds.
off jaime moyer. it was todd Frazier who did it.
yes he is. little leaugers swing the bat faster than you think.
Frazier from the Reds
I'll believe it when I see it.
also that amount of g's is what you would experience on the surface of jupiter
they don't its just quickening your bat speed
I dont care in what time a baseball game is actually decided, just tell me how your hands impact the contact when you choke up the bat!
Wonder what happens at slower pitch speeds.
it was todd fraizer
