I remember this happening @ LHR a few months back… I was so shocked, of all days I planned to be spotting I was there and I managed to catch it it! Nothing like a surprise spot😉

Had one fly over my house a few years back. FlightAware showed it took off from Wright Patterson AFB. They flew north up through Michigan then turned around and flew back. Very rare, very cool thing to see. In this area anyway.

I used to be aircrew on a C9-B Skytrain. I've flown on C17s when I was in the Gulf. 😊

The C-17 is used to move the Presidential Motorcade around. It could be this one was linked to the VP visit?
possible, but it is more likely that it is stopping in LAX to refuel and or let passengers take a small break before heading off to Hawaii.

I live near the Italian airport of Brescia-Montichiari, used for cargo and private jet flights. Last mouth 4 Qatar's C17 stopped at the airport
