Day 3 - Blizzard of '24 - Digging Out Snow at Serene Lakes near Donner Pass, California - March 2

One year after the record snowfall of '23, I'm digging out on Day 3 of the Blizzard of '24 at my cabin in the Serene Lakes neighborhood near Donner Pass and the Royal Gorge and Sugar Bowl ski resorts in the Sierra Nevada mountains of California.

I have never understood not owning a snowblower when you live in snow country... We keep up with heavy snow using a little Honda 1332 track drive. What if you have a medical emergency?

Dude, I have a Honda HS724, but I can't just drive up the stairs and through the cabins to do the decks. See my day 4 video

However, I totally agree with keeping the driveway clear for emergencies!!! We have to rely on the tractor-driven snowblower services to do the bulk of the work. But property owners have to figure out how to do the rest of the work, like entries and decks! Many just mail it in, which creates hazards like propane leaks and explosions.

Great camera shots and angle for the snowblower. The narration is unnecessary however. It's really just about the snow removal by the blower.

Been thinking about that. More stuff. Would need to install an outside outlet. Another someday project..
