I'm just wondering if your blower had a impeller modification.
I'd never have let it get this deep. Where I live in Norther Michigan if I waited not only would I have to struggle like this guy is but the plows would have stacked 5-6 feet of snow at the bottom of my driveway. Storm or no storm, you've got to get out at least once for every foot that falls.
Your video shows why owning a two-stage snow blower is worth having. It would have taken some time and energy to shovel that much snow. Well done! Thanks for sharing.
Why manhandle the blower pulling it in reverse....just use the reverse gear...that's what it's there for...
Reverse gears are so slow it is Pathetic! Got rid of mine for that 14:03

I personally would not wait for this much snow to accumulate; it stresses both yourself and the machine as the auger struggles through snow deeper than its height. I go out when the depth is just below the machines height so i am not constantly back tracking over the fallen excess snow then a finish cleanup. when the snow stops.
If a northeast blizzard comes howling through in the dark of night, with sixty MPH winds, you can go ahead, get out there with it..... I'll be right here in bed.

Years ago, I owned a 32" Ariens. The best snow blower that I ever owned.
Then the snowplow goes by and BOOM 10 foot pile at the end of your driveway.
