It seems to me when the snow folds over the top of the augers, you’re moving forward too fast and exceeding the capacity of the blower. Slowing down a bit would allow the blower to clear a clean path with little need for a second pass. On the other hand, I got the feeling he was using the blower like a plow. Looking at your set up it looks a lot like mine. To the right it looks like a berm, or possible septic bed? Anyways, my issue was when the builders built my house last year and installed the septic it created a burm, right in front of the house. The septic bed acted as a snow fence (kind of) so the snow drifts ended up right in the drive-way last year. I threw up a snow fence this morning so we'll see if that solves the snow drift issue this year. Also have a 2018 1025R the the same blower.
We live in a flood plain, the berm, so to speak, is flood protection around the house incase the ring dike around the community would fail. Thanks for watching.

Do you have the auto connect feature for your mower deck on your tractor? I purchased mine in 2012 and at the time if you had the auto connect feature on your tractor you couldn't run the front mount blower unless you removed the auto connect. I specifically bought the tractor for the drive over deck feature. Has this changed? I opted for the 3 point blower , I bought a 5' renegade blower and I can still use my loader as well. These things really consume the fuel when the blower is moving a full hopper of snow!
Yes, I have the drive over auto connect for the mower... JD offered two ways to lift the mower 1 was to add a cylinder and use the loader valve... 2nd, the one I chose, was to raise the mower deck with the 3 point system.... As far as the blower control, the hydraulic functions are run off the loader control valve.... Hope that helps.... Thanks for watching.
My dealer told me the mower auto connect hanger could stay in place but that proved to be wrong. The service department confirmed it had to come off so the PTO shaft could connect. It comes off very easily.
JD 270 3 point blower cuts about 4 feet high.... but you need at least 50 - 60 hp to run it. This guy has 24 hp. Doing pretty well in that kind of snow.
Considering the limited view one has behind a computer monitor, you have no idea as to where that snow needs to be re-located to. Going with the wind or putting it some place that seems to be obvious to us youtube viewers may not be possible. I personally wouldn't want a neighbor shoving a few tons of snow up my a$$ if I blew it onto their driveway or house. Having been behind the wheel of a plow truck for over 48hrs at one time in a 30" storm and 8 to 10 in a normal storm and running blowers large enough to eat this small unit, I am sure he has his reasons for running this blower and doing what he did. Arm chair quarterbacks have never won any game. He obviously has a brain, as he used it to make enough money and buy the not so cheap John Deere in the video so I am sure he is a quick learner and has done this operation before. Besides, I doubt he cares what you think and will move on with life.
The guy knows something we dont know.... like where the ditches are and other obstacles we cant see bc they are buried under three feet of snow. Might not look like he knows what he is doing... but he does bc he knows his property.

Yes yes yes love it 😍
Thanks for watching.
Makin' me dam nervous watching this!!!! Who taught you how to blow snow?
Classic motor sports in Traverse City, Mi is using your video for an ad. lol.
Thanks for the info
When the buildup of snowfalls behind the blower you are goig forward too fast.
Great video! Does your 54 Blower have the plastic or metal impeller? Looks like it does a great job. I've got the 47 Blower.
Plastic, thanks for watching
@@pboxr-il9zj The plastic impeller gets a bad rap, but looks like it's doing a very fine job. I'd try one if I needed a replacement. Keep up the good videos.
@@TractorHoarders my opinion is, if you get a "un blowable" in the impeller, it would be easier to replace the impeller rather than the impeller housing.
The equivalent of hours of back breaking shoveling in about ten minutes , awesome !
Which major city is this? I'd like to live where it snow so much.
Attached is a video I made last spring, when all that snow melted.... Not much fun then.

There is a lot of snow!
why don't you slow sown and let the blower do its job don't rush it
Do you have the auto connect feature for your mower deck on your tractor?
Thankyou both for the info! Good to know this.
Deere needs to make a shield or a higher blower. I have the same issue over topping my 47 in high drifts.
Akcd11r2002 They have larger tractors and snowblowers available for purchase.
JD 270 3 point blower cuts about 4 feet high.... but you need at least 50 - 60 hp to run it. This guy has 24 hp. Doing pretty well in that kind of snow.
Great video!
Thanks for watching
Техника класс хочу себе такое но денег нет 😂👍👍👍
А где продают , в России?
How you liking your 1025R snowblowing?
Love it, thanks for watching
Very Nice Set Up... Now Pay someone to teach you how to use.....
What part didn't you like... Mr key board warrior?
Bravissimo
Excellent machine in the wrong hands, he doesn't know how to work with this! lol
nice job
question I have the x710 how do you have the blower still running on reverse?
I think I read somewhere, the newer model snowblower run in reverse, the mower, however, doesn't.
@@pboxr-il9zj I have a 2015 model not sure I till like using it. just wish i had a way to move the up and down with out getting off
Why blow the snow in the direction you are going. Like with anything you learn as you go.
Couple of things, depends on which way the wind is blowing and I just need enough room to get turned around and go the other way, thanks for watching!
Look at all that freaking cocaine. This guy must be rich.
Did your parents have any children that lived?
My parents were just killed in a horrific car accident... I hope you're proud of yourself.

Question instead of the negative comments. Is that a 2 stage snow blower do you know? I realize that's a crap ton of snow and all just wondering.
I looked up the 54in jd snow blower for that 1025r and they list it as 2 stage 🤔. I guess it's just a ton of snow and it is what it is. I just have an older single stage jd blower and this seemed similar in pushing the snow is why I was asking
@@jasonchapoton3490 also, the gear box for the auger of the blower holds up the snow is One of the reasons it looks to be pushing snow.. . That and me pouring the coals to her😀.. . Thanks for watching
This guy spent all this money on this snowblower and has 0 idea how to use it
He did just fine douchehat
@@MidnightMixx great comments to James.
Well everybody starts out with out knowledge but most of the time we can learn. It takes a long time for many of us to learn how to be kind. Happy New Year everybody. 🎉🎉🎉
I really don't understand negative judgement minds like yours. Honestly feel bad for ya usually people who put comments like this are hurting.
