- Hello fellow ticket holders. Join us as we explore Osaka Japan (大阪) for the first time. In this video we do a room tour of our AirBnB that is located in the heart of Dotonbori known as the Hotel Dotonbori (ホテｌ 度道頓堀). We then have dinner at Steakhouse Kozai (神戸牛すてーきはうす香西) where we have a premium cut of Kobe Beef for the first time. We round out our evening in Dotonbori checkout out a gashapon store called #C-pla+ (＃C-pla 大阪心斎橋筋店). It was such a shock going from the Japanese countryside to a large city like Osaka, but still a wonderful experience nonetheless.

Enjoying all your Japan vlogs but this one is my favorite so far! I dream of going to Osaka and Kyoto one day..
We really needed more time to see Osaka as this is all of the city we saw. The next video is Universal Studios Japan, which was all day, and then we left Osaka. We really wanted to see Kyoto too while we were there, but it did not make the final itinerary. We hope to have Kyoto and Nara in our next visit, but we will see what shacks out. What a cool room! Very considerate of the owner to include English instructions for international visitors. Tbh I think if I owned an AirBnB I might also require a guest registry with contact information - you never know which visitors are going to leave behind an expensive mess to clean up. Luckily we know you two are model guests. 😉 Also, how uncultured am I that the minute I saw the raised platform my first thought was _not_ 'surely that is for tatami mats' but rather 'karaoke stage?' haha although you have to admit, my concept goes hand-in-hand with the disco lights! Incredible view off of your balcony, especially after dark ✨As someone who has a hard time sleeping with external stimuli (particularly loud, booming bass) I think I might be bothered by the club noise, but I also typically run a fan all night to prevent that _specific_ form of stimuli from impacting my rest. Now, cigarette smoke, there's nothing you can really do about - but I'm sure the location and the view would more than make up for it. Dinner looked delicious...and why am I not the least bit surprised to see Venessa going straight for the Attack on Titan dispenser? 😂 Great video, you two!
A Karaoke stage?! lol 😂 I'm sure its been used as a stage or something other than a sleeping spot by other guests in the past; and that does go hand and hand with the light. We had a travel white noise machine and it helped (i guess... though Venessa did say that she still couldn't sleep). And agree, nothing you can really do about the smoke, other than make sure all the provided fans and purifiers were on and running. We went in circles looking for all the AoT machines before she made her choice of which one to do. 😂 Thanks for watching. 😀 -Chad

You might see some autumn leaves in Oct if you go into the more mountainous regions. But in Osaka specifically we did not. The weather is still too warm. From what we researched, leaves will change around November / December in central Japan. Thanks for watching. 😀 -Chad
