  • Test driving Tesla's new upgraded 2024 Model 3. I loved the handling, build quality, new interior features. For $45,990, the long-range version (341 mile range and 4.2 second 0-60 time) is an incredible deal. We thought it was so good, it's almost better than our Model Ys! What do you think, are you going to order the new Tesla Model 3??

Ask Tesla what the trade in price for your 2018 Model 3 and you'll quickly realize that price difference is simply not worth it.

Today, my Uber was a Highland Model 3 in Portugal (lot of Teslas over here). I was thrilled ! Traffic jams & cobblestone streets kept the driver from launching. I'm 181 cm. There was about 4 cm clearance between my head and glass roof. Leg room was adequate, but not spacious. Overall, Model 3's interior is smaller than expected. I like the minimalist interior. Based on this experience, if I ever buy a Tesla, it'll be Model Y or X or Cybertruck.

@@Steph1 I'm 190 and fit just fine in the pre-Highlander version, and I'm assuming that doesn't change with the Highlander. As a tall guy, it's maybe the most comfortable car I've driven.

Gali, could you do a video comparing TESLA - vs - VOLKSWAGEN?
I tried it myself on the mainstreet data site, but I can't figure out why tesla is valued so much more considering just the financial numbers. VW has 3,5x more revenue and double the profit of tesla, and still there market cap is 1/10th. I know tesla is much more then an auto company, but who knows what VW is doing behind the scenes.
It would help me to understand how you value a company using only the financial data that is provided.
Same for a video between TESLA - vs - BYD, would be massively appreciated!

Tesla makes way more money per unit, wants to scale bigger than VW, is still growing alot, has no debt, has crazy future projects in the pipline. Mainly software. Crazy margins.
Vw is an old, slow, crusty legacy company, no Innovation, no software expertise, making money in an dying industry. Their EVs (which will be 100% of their products end of this decade) suck.
They are also paralyzed to make any drastic change, their leadership is full of suits instead of engineers

The other day I took a lyft ride with a 75 year old man driving a white Model 3...he said him and his wife drive 9,000 miles a month on that model 3, it paid for itself in gas savings and for their other car. They've put 126,000 miles on it in 14 months of driving. Pretty wild.

Just got back from my test drive. This new version slaps - it's a different league than my Model Y. The upgraded suspension, quality of fit and finish, the new stereo! Wow, this is an elevated vehicle that will complete with anything. This is not iPhone 14 to 15, it's iPhone X to 15 at a minimum! I love the range, the quality, the ventilated seats - it offers so much value. I think it's virtually faultless. If they can do this with the new Model Y or anything close with the affordable car, it will officially be bankruptcy for legacy auto.

I think Tesla makes fantastic cars. Love driving them.
But will only buy a Tesla, if there’s a „rugged“ version.
There are with the exception of the Cybertruck only models available, built for Californian city type driving-conditions.
Every 3, Y, S and X needs a „rugged“ version with more ground clearance, no low section tires, and extra mud guard to protect the underbody and the paint.
You should be able to drive up on high sidewalks or on unmade roads without fear of scratching the underbody or on 20 cm fresh-fallen snow without the fear of swimming.
In short a car for people living outside towns, north the 40th latitude and with lots of rain, snow and mud.

I tried the new Model 3 in Murcia, Spain, during the weekend. Loved the car!
I have been very negative about the lack of stalks earlier, but after driving it for around 25 minutes I think you will get used to it rather quick.
Will order one on Monday, which will replace our current 2021 Model 3.

Reasonable & majority reaction. Most people want minimal & practical analog controls.
Lack of stalks only makes sense if/when Tesla delivers FSD.
By removing stalks, Elon is making a statement to his engineers & the world: FSD is coming.
I'd still buy a Tesla without stalks, but I'd grumble about it.
