Bought one. For what I need it for i.e., as private pc for basic workloads, it's very good value for money. I get issued with company laptops, so this is just for personal admin. Love it. It's like buying the cheapest house in an expensive neighbourhood - Lenovo is not going to put their good name on something not good
I’ve got an Ideapad 1 14AMN7 which I got for $398 during the Black Friday sales, an early deal at Harvey Norman. Mine’s got the Athlon Silver 7120U APU with 2C/2T and a boost speed of 3.5GHz instead of the 7320U and only 4GB of RAM with a 1366x768 screen. Very 😊 with mine. Played a bit of Burnout Paradise and The Sims 4 on mine.
Very good for school, we were chatting about this at work that it could nearly fulfill the grade 11-12 needs just depending on subjects. If it had more RAM in the unit it could do some 1080p video editing.
I just bought it and i think it s a good laptop for it s range and it cost me just 200 euro new. For me it s more a companion than a main machine bc i have good desktop pc for gaming and editing but this for me it s more for move in out for office or travels.
I would say this would be a bit too weak for gaming it can do general gaming like minecraft and fornite but as much as the integrated graphics is decent its not designed for AAA games.
Depends on what sort of gaming. I've got the Ryzen 5 version and I play a lot of strategy games and things like cities skylines and it can do those sorts of games fine.
It can do basic FHD video editing work, this isn't an idea computer to use for video editing though. As well as this computer did in terms of performance for a budget computer. You still need higher specs for decent video editing tasks.
@@erwinmatic5062/videos Just use Linux. People who don't want to pay 500-1000 bucks for a notebook also don't want to have annual payments for programs without added value (Adobe's are too demanding for this device anyway). Linux is free, rather light (depends on the distribution), without artificial limitation and observation, has better usability and longer support for old hardware, and you have a ton to chose from to meet your taste.

What other laptop would you recommend me instead of this one with better/bigger battery?
with this kind of power they should have made it a bit smaller/portable for ease of use everywhere like for school

It's impossible to upgrade RAM?
Right, but 8gb is plenty, is not ram hingry like Intel.
Hello!
I can make an upgrade from 8GB ram to 16GB ram, at same laptop?
Unfortunely you can't upgrade the RAM as it's soldered to system board after purchased.
@@BsianTech:/
@@BsianTech Dang. Shame. Windows eats ram like crazy.
