Bravo Kei. The tenacity, the unrelenting drive to get to that ball, and the next, and the next. Kei is such a gifted athlete. I especially admire Kei's deportment on court. There is no showboating, no swagger. He just shows up for whatever is served to him. Kei plays to the ball. What a smart way to handle the opponent. I hope his injuries heal a 100% You deserve to play more Kei. Thanks a lot Wivo.

Joker is a great player. He is basically a 2.0 version of Hewitt. Hewitt at a time dominated because of his style. Kept getting the ball back. Joker is better in most areas with height advantage and able to counter better. This is why he has so much success. On this day he played a guy who played a similar game with less errors. Whilst he is the most successful he's not the player most want to watch.

Unfortunately for Kei, after he beat Djokovic in USO, Novak started paying more close attention to Nishikori, and I lost count how many times in a row Djokovic beat him after that.
The same goes for Wawrinka, for about a decade he could not win a match vs.Djokovic, Monfils is still 0-18, and Canadian players beat Djokovic once, and that was an exhibition ( Felix).
Djokovic going against Berdych 25-2 is never mentioned, and one of those loses
was at Wimbledon, when Djokovic had to surrender the match because of injury.
Berdych could not believe his good luck, the next match he wore ND Adidas Barricade sneakers to honor Djokovic.

Whenever Novak knows he’s about to lose he always makes an obvious attempt to make it look like he isn’t trying anymore. Which really undermines the opponent and is disrespectful in my opinion. Another bad example is against karlovic in Doha. It’s almost saying the only reason I lost is because I wasn’t trying. Roger and Rafa would NEVER do that. This has similarities to his history especially when younger of medical timeouts and withdrawals that never sat well with a lot of people

This match was extremely difficult for Novak. Dealing with his shoulder issues, he likely wanted to finish the match quickly and doninated the first set, which even the commentator described as "one-way traffic."
Kei displayed brilliant shots and movements, though inconsistent, prolonging the match and Novak probably gave up in the final set, thinking ahead to the rest of the season. It was still a great achievement for Kei, which gave him lots of confidence to rise to top 10 player.

I'm gonna be real tho. To me, Djokovic didn't seem to care that much throughout this match. Idk maybe its his body language.

Nishikori was more prime than Djok in this match. Djok looked tired.

Nishikori is not "one of the most underrated players ever". Everyone knows he was very talented, but tennis is a results game and talent alone is not enough. He had an excellent career with a career high of 4th, but no grand slam title and only ever made it into one single grand slam final. Not even any semi-finals - his maximum at all grand slams except the US Open was the quarterfinal. He was not underrated - he was correctly rated.

How can he make it to the finals but not a single semis? You must love to talk just to talk huh

A lot of the reason for that was fatigue, possibly because Nishikori's size he has to take more steps and use up more stamina.

This video should not be called "Bageled prime Djokovic" because Nishikori only did it once.. The title would only be right if Nishikori beat prime Djokovic many times or at least 3 times... This video's title did no justice for Djokovic..

Do people just love having a go a Novak ?😂 beats him once with a fluke and he’s this and that😂 calm down he’s done nothing in his career. It’s just called a “bad day at the office” roger has had them Rafa has had them and so on. 😂 not a big deal.
