This mail train is slow =) So, I did a quick study of the plate and it doens't look it would be possible, and even if it did the upright part is rather short and only offers those three 1/4 20 threads in line. So I would suggest getting one of the V-mount plates instead. There are links in the description for the similar v-mount plates that offers more in terms of mounting holes and size.
Very basic, things, I converted everything to be tool-less so I could transport it in a regular camera bag. A smallrig cage, nato top handle and nato QR monitor mount. In this video there's also the Atomos Shinobi II and Sirui nightwalker 16mm along with the matte box mini from smallrig. I use the matte box when I shoot with cine lenses mainly as they are more prone to flaring and vailing. I do have a video covering the parts in more detail if you want to see them up close. ruclips.net/video/gfZB1i4Pw-E/видео.html Thanks for stopping by!
Nice product but it doesn't make a lot of sense to lots of us. Some of us already have the powerbank holder and the NPF battery plate. So if I am to buy, I will only get the foldable mounting plate, which Smallrig isn't offering separately.
If you have other options you find as nimble or if you can't see yourself using it personally - Sure. But I think of everyone buying a new camera or getting into video to extend battery life with a power bank they probably already own. And I could see this as a great backup to have in your bag if your NPF, V-Mount or regular batteries are getting low. Slap it on with your own power bank or borrow one on set. Personally I also like the sheer size of it along with a smaller power bank for those times when you really want to slim down your camera to as little as possible. It's great to have options for those and other occasions ;)
@@thomasfransson That's ok. In my case, I have two powerbank holders and two NPF battery plates already. So all I need is the arca foldable mounting plate. Buying the Smallrig 4696 which is about 70 Euros in Germany, while knowing that the NPF plate is completely useless to me just doesn't make sense. And the plates on it's own accounts for about half or more of the price.
It's a shame they missed that. Hopefully they will offer an updated version. It's a really great product for cameras like the FX3/30 built run for a while. And it do work, but it would have been nice to be able to keep it fully upright without it resting against the camera.
@@thomasfranssonyes all my cages are from smallrig, great company. Im sure V2 is on the way. I wonder if this thing would fit under one of my cages, thanks for the heads up
If you have a cage with a straight end at the rail section it will fit. I have an older cage for my X-T4 where the bottom arca rail morphs into the grip and on one side and a 3/8 thread rail on the other end (instead of nato) This sadly makes it impossible to slide the arca QR on to that cage. So just make sure you have an open end and it should work.
Thank you . Very useful video !
Glad to hear that! Thank you for taking the time. Have a wonderful day!
a bit of a strange question, but are you able to remove the power bank clamp and mount other items onto it using the threads on it? cheers~
Sorry, I was meaning to check that today in the studio and get back to you. I dont think the clamp is removable. But I'll double check tomorrow.

Thank you. Glad to hear
@@thomasfransson really like the vibe the video had
Thank you those kind words made my day!
What's the name of the clamp you showed @ 0:58
It's a power bank clamp attached with a super clamp. I've updated the links and added a super clamp there as well. Thank you for reminding me.
Hey what’s on that cinema rig of yours bro

can't hold my Rollei Powerbank.
It's too thick.
Good to know, do you know the model name/number of that power bank in case someone consider this combo.
