omg thank you! Was trying to work out for ages how to attach it to the camera!
THANKS...✌
Love this video bro, very helpful!
I’m so tempted to start another RUclips channel for gear/tech reviews.
Apart from the travelling/vlogging. I have one of my camera rigged up but with no v-mount/no base plate. Just caged/monitor/matt box.
But now looking for a mount/base plate.
For my S5iix, this seems nice exactly what I want, but also thinking maybe I should go for the small rig vmount plate with rods?
Have to make a decision
I’ve got the one with rod coming in for our c200 at work. Can let you know what I think later
thank youuuu so muchhh. I have already bought this straightener and the Neewer v lock battery and it has yet to arrive. I wanted to know if the Neewer battery locked perfectly with the plate and your video was my answer. This is because I found some reviews on amazon saying it wasn't compatible with all non-smallrig v lock batteries
Glad to help! yeah i saw some other people saying that but i've used several of the smallrig plates and several of the neewer batteries with no issues
What’s the name of the cable we need to pulg in to the screen and batter
Great vid. What usbc cable do you use to power the cam? I saw you had one at the beginning of the video. Thanks!
That one is a Kondor Blue one that came with the pro blade top handle unsure on the length amzn.to/3WkNoaI
Have you encountered issues with the battery lock mechanism? I have the plate and zgcine v mount, but it always slips out and is not secured at all.
No. It has worked fine for both neewer and small rig batteries
Can i attach falcam f38 quick release on the bottom of this place all together. I have black mamba cage on s5iix and foldable v mount, i wana get f38 falcam quick detach system to mount on tripod.
Absolutely. Several 1/4 20 and a 3/8 mount on the bottom
What usb c cable from Kondor blue are you using? Is it the 8.5" or 12"?
12"! It came with the top handle

Hello, does usb c on s5iix support both SSD recording and charging at the same time ( usb c to dual usb c splitter, right angle)
No. Need to use dummy battery.
@@adamtalkstech did you test it Adam??
No but The controller in the camera doesn’t support it. You have to activate ssd recording separate from charging
The arca doesnt fit my rig and i didnt get a arca plate with mine
Did you get the lite version of this kit?
Can this work with a canon t7i?
Yup just need a dummy battery
@@adamtalkstech can you make a small video showing how to use it with the canon t7i? I can’t figure this out at all. I have that camera, but the batteries go in the bottom of the camera. Am I booking the cable cord to the big battery and using it that way or only charging the battery with the pattern pack for the canon.
Yeah you just put the dummy battery in the bottom and keep the battery door open. I’m not sure what model of battery the t7 I is.
Poor evf!
true!
