The VB99 is killer, and I've had 2 for a few months. I might make the jump to the 212 because there's no doubt they're even better, and save the VB99s for lights at weddings. There's nothing worse than using the smaller batteries and needing to change them out every few hours.
Thank you for the video, the introduction was really what I needed

Im purchasing a sony pxw-z280 camera I need around 5-6 hours use from one charge what watt hour battery will I need for that
0:12 seconds into the video you place the camera in a bag. What is the name of that bag? It's exactly what I need.
Sachtler Dr. Bag, crazy good!
Sachtler Bags Dr. Bag - 5 ..... thanks for the info. 370 euros but it looks like a good quality bag. cheers
Really the only issue with this battery is that it's too big to travel with. You can't throw it into carry-on luggage, you have to check it in.
Just get two of the 99wh model, carry on restriction is 160wh
@@RustyShackleford9000 but there's only 1 d-tap on the 99wh model. 2 d-tap would be perfect. Gimbal + Camera and DC jack for monitor.
@@TKYKZ you can use a v mount dock with more ports on it with the battery
You can't check in batteries
@@Samvisualarts yeah has to be carry on
I have the Newer PS099EP with 99WH & 100w USB-C
Thanks for sharing ❤
You're not completely right about the aircraft 99Wh limits on batteries - you are allowed just two 100-160Wh, then any others must be 100Wh or below.
know i too only hear BATTREH
you cant even travel with it so its a non starter for me.
There is a 99WH one you can travel with.
@@OBP_ yes and then its no different or better than any other battery
