I don't know, maybe I'm getting old, but I get really excited for a good battery. Got excited for some rechargeable AAA batteries the other day. Enjoy the "prop" beer ;)
These newer small form factor USB-C powerbanks are the bomb. Smallrig really nailed this product. V-Mounts were always a bit cumbersome and big to bring with (mainly the charger) but being able to rapid PD charge is a gamechanger. My entire kit is rechargable or able to be powered by USB-C so it's now the only battery I need. I got two because I also got a slightly bigger solar battery to be able to recharge the first one while I use the second. Never have to worry about power again on or between shoots
Love v-mount batteries! If you're gonna get a smallrig battery however, wait for them to go on sale. They're massively overpriced. The non-pro version just recently went on sale for $100. I chose the Neewer option instead of smallrig because of the price. Got it $135 on sale.
Probably a dumb question since I’m new to building rigs but would this smallrig battery fit onto any V mount plate I choose to use on my A7siii rig ? I have a Tilta core rig
@@BradyBessette i see, yeah for a bit older equipment can be handy, but recently i saw dji power station and litterally they had 2 usb c and 2 usb a, and i am scratching my head like why the hell would you need two USB A, just put one and replace the other one with USB C, yeah sorry i hate USB A
I find it really wholesome that Brady still hand writes his grocery lists

Thank you; you just made me order one of those just for the heck of it. Excellent start to the video.

have you used the neeweer knock off? is way cheaper and it works just as good
Mine keeps draining overnight even when nothing is plugged in. Is that normal?
I would put (insert sponsors product who did pay for this video) over all. 😅😂
Small rig v mounts are actually good, though, if you tried it

so hoizer makes films now 👏😂
I’ve seen several vids on this battery and No one ever says how many hours it last on a shoot.
Nice nails 💅
Ive had two of the older small rig batteries go bad on me :(
What did you use to film at the store?
Fx3!
@@BradyBessette love it 🙌 thank you
Sending ❤from Nigeria 🇳🇬
Hey bro you missed a bit of your colour grade 😂 @0:46
why the hell did they put an USB A port in there, like who the hell uses USB A especially in a pro setting, why not just put a third USB C 😮💨😮💨🙄
Actually you’d be surprised, I’ve got stuff that still is usb a and I have used it more than I thought , would love a 3rd usb c tho
