My guess is she loves the show so much that was why her boyfriend and all her family and friends thought it would be a good idea to propose on the show. It does makes sense, but the dress shopping afterwards became too much. I'm glad they didn't force her and understood she was overwhelmed with everything. She's got to make decisions with fiancè first regarding date, venue, theme (if any) where the dress can become clearer in her dreams.

That's a great guy to pre-plan everything and to fly out her mom & friends. I don't blame her for not picking a gown right then. She needs to think about what she wants to look like, pick a date & venue, then look at a few bridal magazines before she figures out what she wants her gown to look like.
Listen, i LOVE the proposal and that he planned all of this, but to be thrown into dresses IMMEDIATELY isn't the way to go. She's overwhelmed, and not everyone is dreaming of their wedding since they were a baby and knows all the details/what they want/etc.
Most people need to research and find a style they want to try on first.
There's no way I'd be able to concentrate on dresses after that. I'd be wanting to be taking stuff OFF LOL 😉

My husband totally surprised me when he proposed, so I totally teared up seeing her reaction! Even though she was overwhelmed, it was nice she got to try a few dresses just to get an idea. The ring is gorgeous! Wishing the two of them the best!

Personally I didnt think it was a romantic situation in a shop with everyone watching. Was too quick & then to go shoppingstraight away would be stressful. My darling husband proposed in a park looking at the Sydney tower over a meal with just the 2 of us there. We were married for a wonderful 12 years before he died January 2022

It was wonderful of him to do this but I don't think they thought it out properly. She's clearly overwhelmed, doesn't know any details of how the wedding will be so it's quite premature to pick a dress.
She made the right choice by not choosing the dress that day. Everything happened so fast, she was obviously overwhelmed with emotions. Wedding dresses go according to venue, season, in short she has planning to do to make sure her wedding is as she dreamed of, nothing rushed.

Beautiful proposal that was obviously meaningful to the couple. But I was sad when the groom left afterwards.
On my proposal day, you would’ve had to physically tear me away from my fiancé. He and I were literally just crying and talking about the proposal and our relationship for an hour until we went back to our hotel room, then phoning friends and family with the news. And then ‘alone’ time. It was incredible for us to have that time together and I wish this lovely girl got that opportunity too. Hopefully she got back to him right after filming and jumped in his arms ❤️

@@tracyturner-browne4012 proposals rarely come completely out of the blue. certainly they would have already discussed the possibility of getting married, and things like how she wanted to get her dress from kleinfeld's. she may have even suspected something was up when her friend is suddenly getting engaged and going dress shopping at kleinfeld's of all places. but that doesn't mean the whole thing was set up as in she knew in advance. i think it was very sweet and thoughtful of him to propose where she wanted to buy her dress, and leaving her to try on dresses is just southern tradition. the consultants also seemed to be aware that she likely wasn't going to commit to a dress right away, but i hope they at least gave her the dress number so she could call and order it if she decides that is what she wants.

Her friend pretended that she was getting engaged and brought her friends (the blonde gal) to “look at dresses”. It was all a setup so her fiancé could propose to her.
If you're already in a store to shop for a wedding dress before a proposal then how does a person just up and drop the idea to buy a dress as soon as they get a ring ?? Something tells me her family set her up on the ideas. I would of been stoked and got a dress and started planning a date that day. Something just didn't seem right.

There is more to this than meets the eye. Most likely it was a poorly thought out publicity stunt for Kleinfelds.
Why anyone would think this is a good idea is beyond me.
A proposal should be a very special moment all in itself and while it is awesome to have family and friends there, ultimately there should be intimate downtime with the two people immediately afterwards so they can process and enjoy.
Unless the bride had a full out well thought out plan with pictures and idea boards that she had been working on for years, this was not a kind thing to do. I can't believe the mom and all the friends went along with this.
Also, a dress budget of $1500 to $2000 when they spent what kind of crazy money for travel, lodging and food for all these people to have a public proposal in a store? Just ugh. I felt so sorry for this bride.
the entire goddamn show is a publicity stunt for kleinfeld's, put down the judgeridoo and take off the tinfoil hat. she wanted to get her dress from kleinfeld's so he took her to kleinfeld's to propose, some people like different things and do things differently from you, is that a problem?
You have to apply to be on this show months before until you find out if you're picked or not so not sure how this happened.
