YEM Content Explorer - Edit Locked Voices

Edit locked voices by activating them using new function in YEM-CE v2.
You can now safely activate those locked voices in some pack, but don't expect that YEM will let you edit SA^ voices :)
Here is the video in which you will hear how those locked voices are editable with sounds ON in YEM Voice Editor.

Como converter voice a drum en expansion manager

YEM does not have a function to convert voices to drumkits. The only thing you might do, if you have wave samples, is to create a new drum kit and import each wave samples on their keys. I know Korg has this option to use drum kits on any style channel, and voices as well on any channel, but Yamaha filtered their channels, and RHY1 and RHY2 accept only drum kits and the other ones accept only voices, so you cannot use a drum kit on PHR channel, for example. But this way works on Yamaha, we cannot do anything to change it!

@@valimaties5789 me refiero que convertí un sample en sf2 que es muestra de batería pero cuando cargue al programa expansión manager me salió en voice ahora no puedo convertir en el mismo programa a drum kit

You can use AwaeStudio, import your SF2 file, then use Tools -> Create instrument wizard -> change to "a drum kit" option, do all the job by assigning samples to keys and save instrument as UVD (Tyros3). The import content option from YEM will convert UVD file to the newest format.
Or more simply: after you imported the sf2 file, right click on the voice in the left panel, save as instrument and choose UVD from the list.

You said you have those sounds in SF2 format and you have imported in Expansion Manager and it imports wrong, in voice format not drum format. So, if you have those SF2 files, use Awave Studio as I told you before. No way to export voices from YEM in any format than PPF/CPF.

hi i tried but it doesn't unlock. I tried Genos ppf packages. but locks do not open.

Every pack which you did the unlocked process MUST be send to keyboard, as MIDI driver see it unlocked. Is something like that :)

Salut! La pachetele cumpărate, format CPF, nu apar patch name urile, scriptul in Cubase in Device Manager, decât la restul.. Chiar și pe poza scrie Locked (parca). Probabil din cauza .N27. As aprecia mult daca m ai sfătui ce trebuie sa fac să îmi apară și packurile codate ca mapă de patch uri in Cubase!!

Salutare @Quantiz Studio Records .. Din pacate, in fisierele din YEM nu se vad decat denumirile elementelor, si tipul lor, ca e voce, ca e style, etc... Dar informatia despre MSB-LSB-PC nu este afisata si in niciun caz din cauza fisierului n27 :)) Ala este doar un fisier de initializare pentru YEM, sa stie ce model de clapa este si care e memoria RAM disponibila pentru acel device. Atata timp cat nu putem vizualiza acele detalii, singura modalitate e sa ne facem singuri fisierul respectiv, folosindu-ne de clapa. Structura fisierului pentru Cubase se gaseste in fisierul "sample documentation.txt" din AppData... acolo vezi cum sa creezi pozitiile manual. Sau poti crea direct in pagina din Cubase, adaugand inregistrare cu inregistrare.

Ar mai fi o solutie :) Sa adaug eu o "baza de date" in program si sa asociezi tu, CPF-ul cu lista mea. Ma gandesc... :)
PS: Asta doar pentru pachetele de la Yamaha, restul, cele pe care le cumperi de la X, de la Y, alea vor avea MSB 62 sau 63, si atentie foarte mare cu astea.. inca exista probleme de adresare a LSB-ului...

Ajuta foarte mult...sa nu tot facem manual asta. :) Înseamnă că am înțeles eu greșit cu N27...am crezut că prin el sunt "închise" packurile ...ptr că exact Superior 2 și Best of Europe (primit cadou la achiziție Genos) nu mi le vede ca script in Cubase....ori am de doar 2 3 săpt Genosul...și încă nu știam exact. Tot astea 2 nu mi le vede nici Style Magic. In schimb ce îmi semplez eu în studio cu ESC...mi le scanează fara probleme....sau da...făcute manual...in txt și importate în Scripts :)

It runs, I have Windows 7 and it runs... Maybe you don't have .net 4.8 installed. Make sure you install runtime files, and it must work.
