    This is based on an old Polish legend about a boy who was a shoemaker's apprentice and invented a way to trick the dragon who tormented the inhabitants of the Krakow land. He filled the lamb's skin with brimstone and fed it to the dragon, who ate the lamb and became so thirsty with the brimstone that he drank so much water from the river that he burst. The shoemaker's apprentice received the hand of the princess as a reward😊

    There is a legend about a dragon who lived under the Wawel Castle in Cracow. The dragon would attack and eat women. The king proposed a very high reward to a person who slains the dragon. Many knights tried but failed to do so. In the end the beast was slain by the clever shoemaker Dratewka who stuffed a sheep with a sulphur. Dragon ate it and it started burning his guts, so he drank so much water from the Vistula river (river just next to the castle) that he burst.
    So in this video:
    Gangster = modern dragon
    Clever guy = Shoemaker
    robot woman he created = the sheep
    Hope that helps :)

    This film is an interpretation of the Polish legend about the shoemaker Dratewka who killed a dragon that was prowling over Krakow, killing sheep and cows. The shoemaker stuffed an artificial sheep with sulfur and presented it to the dragon, who ate it and his stomach hurt so much that he started drinking water from the Vistula River. He drank and drank until he finally burst from too much water. This and all other films about Polish legends from Allegro are loose interpretations of Polish legends. They were created by Tomasz Bagiński, one of the best Polish CGI creators, who is now responsible for the latest Netflix series The Witcher.

    Legendy Polskie is a great take on Polish legends in modern approach. Allegro did great job and I've already seen a bunch of foreigners reacting to some of them, so it's great to see how Polish culture is spread. I best like two parts of the Twardowsky. The background you need to know for that is Twardowski was supposed to be a member of a Polish nobility and a sorcerer who made a pact with the devil. The pact basically granted him a lot of power but also said that the devil may take Twardowski's soul only when he's in Rome (where Twardowski had no intention of ever going). There are some variations of this legend, but they all come down to the fact that Twardowski ends up on the Moon - and this is where the action of Allegro's version starts. Both parts have English subtitiles so it should be much easier to understand.

    Thanks for following my recommendation Mert. So a bit of context:
    The whole series Legendy Polskie (Polish Legends) are inspired by - plot twist - polish legends. There is an old story about a dragon who lived in Cracow. It was cleverly slain by a shoemaker Dratewka, who sew a bait sheep mixed with sulphur. Once dragon ate it it got so thirsty it drank so much water from Vistula river that it poped.
    Also, the video begins and ends with a trumpet. It is a tradition that every day at noon at Cracow main square a trumpeter plays the same melody called "Hejnał Mariacki". I recommend you look up a story about it on Wikipedia. It is quite interesting!
    I am glad you've enjoyed it! The next one for you would be "Twardowsky". I am not giving you any context so I don't spoil anything to you :) Enjoy!

This is about being Polish - advanced level. 😉 No offense Mert, but there are too many details for a foreigner to follow this without some preparation . What does the name "Adolf Kamchatkov" soud like? Why does the Smok's attack start at the Mariacki Church Tower? Why is the product of the boy's intellect that stops the dragon? Well, without knowing the answers watching this series makes little sense....
