Been getting tons of questions asking what I think is the best bang for your buck mods on a VQ35 Altima 3.5. There is a few ways to answer that question depending on your budget, but in this video I go over a few of the things I would or did mod first on my Nissan Altima.
all these people "laughing" have no idea how fast these cars can get.. especially with the 3.5 V6... the older 350z has the exact same engine.. I support your build homie... I got a '07 3.5 SE so I definitely feel what you're doing.

dnali is it hard to do a swap from a 2002 2.5 altima to a 2003 maxima 3.5 motor I have a 2002 altima and a 2003 3.5 Maxima motor just wanted to see if it's direct bolt or not
walltima, I would suggest you first of all you will need to upgrade the computer. I don’t think it will run without it.
Ha I'm from tdot too. My 2009 Altima transmission about to break or something making noises that's getting louder and longer. Sucks cuz it has nismo body kit and amazing stereo system. But now I gotta mod it a bit for resell wow factor Haha.

They never sent my parts and very bad communication money got refunded. Was trying to save a few bucks. But not even worth it. So nwp is the way to go.. Ha

I've seen alot of guys on line that do custom headlight and my buddy has full custom projectors on his max. I may do some headlights in the future once I'm done my performance upgrades.

the block off plate not Worth it unless maybe on highway (feels like some sort of cheap VTec ), I bought the Vias block off plate, my 05 auto alti on 1/4 was 14.9 run after run, took it off and ran 14.8 run after run. I installed colder iriduim spark plugs, #6 that made a difference on 91 octane. resonator delete because its useless 39" of restrictions. if you want to gain a big power increase that's cheap and actually Worth it is raceline Y pipe (250-300$) or the crank pulley (170-250$) !!! FUCK CHEAP MODS, save up for the pulley and y pipe, 500$ obx headers with y pipe and O2 bungs life time warranty, Obx cat back 400$ lifetime warranty, if that's not enough intake manifold spacers from NWP or Kinetix intake manifold 800$. does are pretty much the only way you'll notice power gains

I did a block off plate, motor mount inserts and light weight under drive pulley and went from 14.8 to 14.4. The block off plate alone may not do much but with a few other things I still think its a good mod haha. Im Getting pre cats and y pipe in a few weeks and gutting the stock manifold. Hoping for some real gains but those mods are not going to be CHEAP as the ones I'm mentioned in the vid.
Not worth the gutting. Better off buying the full obx exhaust system for under 1G. And if you go on raceline website they have the tein S basic coilovers for under 9 bills. I paid 1500$ with shipping cost 2 years ago. And raceline have cheap shipping cost as they are a Canadian company. Oh and the traction bar theyve got will probably get you near 14 flat seconds
