Hi Miss Annette ❤ It's always nice to see you. I pull weeds but mostly they are Rose of Sharon babies. Ughhh... Everywhere it seems. But I like to plant my flowers close together then I mulch .. Your gardens are Beautiful so very pretty. And I love your ducks..they are so cute ... Great video and Thank You for sharing. Stay safe and cool. Here in Pennsylvania today it was 95 and that's for the rest of the week. Big Hugs XX Love You and your little farm ❤
I got the animals out extra early today and put some fans in the barn, we're in the thick of it aren't we? I am glad you are enjoying the Little Farm, hugs
❤ I just love your videos , you are so sweet and your voice is so calming and encouraging 💖🙏 keep us up on your beautiful Little City Farm , and love your Mamma too ❤
I can relate, Ms. Annette. I could spend hours and hours weeding. My gardens get over run so quickly. Squirrels plant acorns, walnuts that sprout. I have rose of sharon to pull, hundreds every year. My creeping jenny gets creeping charlie, wild strawberries, and wild violets that just keep sprouting up. and a dozen of forms of vines. It's maddening. But, its my main form of exercise and I get the satisfaction of working at my own pace and a pretty garden as the prize.
I watch another RUclipsr who gets pretty annoyed & has to deal with his neighbors messy pecan tree that drips sap all over his shrubs & flowers every year. He has actually had to go over & ask them if he could trim it up for them (him.) lol I personally don’t know what I would do without our privacy fence. We have a next door neighbor that is anything but considerate. In my own yard I’m always pulling hundreds of seedlings from a messy tree I have. It also drops zillions of 3” long stems with little granules on them. I have no idea what it’s called & if I had plenty of shade trees I would cut it down but we cherish shade so much here in the south to where I keep the tree & just deal with its mess. lol (I’ve planted much better trees over the years in hopes they’ll one day be our shade & I can get rid of the 2 trashy trees I have in my yard.) I adore your videos!❤
Our neighbors are young newlyweds so maybe when the mature they will take better care. If we ever get a new fence it will definitely be one with no openings. We cherish our shade too, we don't get great grass but the shade is awesome. Thank you for watching and I am so glad you are enjoying your visits. Hugs
lol 😂 I was out early today too because it is wicked hot 🥵!!! I went out later and watered the container flowers. I also try to plant close enough so that I don’t have to weed as much…thanks for sharing your day with us ❤🥰🌻🌻🌻🐝🐝🐝
I am under restrictions until the end of July for my recent back surgery. No bending until then. I just have two little beds across the front of my home and just have to pretend that those weeds under my hibiscus bushes aren't there! They better watch out in a couple of weeks though. I just love your beautiful little garden!
Good work 😉 I’ve come to learn to coexist with most weeds, but currently battling one kind. I have quite a bit of poke week that I am having a hard time managing. I dig them up and they come back stronger. Thanks for sharing!
I am so sensitive to some plants ie: Trumpet vine that comes from my neighbor’s yard. Even with gloves, and long sleeves I blister up with an all over rash, every, single year! I just love being in the garden so much that I have to suffer.🤷🏻♀️
Hi Annette, when i see you working in your garden.....my hands get tinglin´to do mine too, but i have to have a lot of patience, may was a rainy month...june started some better, but now for the second week, it´s raining all day long....i still have some herbs and flowers to plant out... My male neigbor has the same fench and he never keep his plants on his side, so i have to cut down whats on my side, oh my.....why is it so hard for some people to just do the right thing.... I really enjoyed your video, so thank you very much!! Much love, ❤ Conny 🌻 🐞 🌺 🦋
Oh Conny so much rain, I hope you continue to keep your spirts up. Between the two of us I would love to let the goats loose in my neighbors back yard, lol. Many hugs sweet friend.
You are so very sweet. In the initial portion of video when you say not sure if it's a weed, there is a plant with a white tiny multi flower sort of conical flower to your right. If it is what I believe you should pull out asap and put into pots. I paid 1.75 once in PA and it quickly became invasive with deep roots. Cannot recall name.

I have had poke weed in the past, it's dangerous to animals. I kept cutting and pulling too. Thanks for watching, hugs

I am so sorry to hear that, I am that way with some of the grasses on the Little Farm. I totally understand. Thanks for watching.

Hi dear lady been watching for a video from you … I love your farm
I upload on Tuesdays and Fridays, if I had the time I would be here everyday. Much love and hugs
Thank you for letting me know I will be watching for you for sure

It tried to test me but I kept it in it's place, LOL Thank you so much for the tip, hugs and love
Me again. I think name was gooseneck loosestrife.
If it is put in pots asap and pull out of garden.
It does try to get out of place, I love it's flowers though.
How do you keep the animal's cool during these hot days? I just got done weeding Megans yard.
We put fans in the barn and plenty of fresh water.
