Another gorgeous video! You know, about slugs, I've read somewhere that crushed eggshells (although sharp) won't deter slugs and snails. Eggshells, when boiled and steeped overnight, instead can be leeched for calcium and potassium - good for balancing soil PH and supporting root growth. Beautiful farm! Monty is quite the gentleman with his white moustache😻Perhaps if the grit doesn't work you could try a mixture of sawdust/wood shavings and ash from the fire. I managed to keep the slugs and snails from eating my delphiniums! They hate it! 🐌🐌🐌

I only recently discovered you videos and am happily watching current ones while also catching up on those from the past. I live in a very populated area on the coast of Virginia and while there are some beautiful places it is often difficult to enjoy with how much it has been built up. Your videos are beautifully done and take me to a relaxing meditative place. I enjoy them early in the morning with tea or coffee. I visited Ireland from Dublin, down the southern coast and over to Shannon. There is so much more I would love to explore, especially after learning my ancestry. My second and third great grandfather's were from County Mayo. Wonderful facts I learned while working on my ancestry. Thank you for sharing your beautiful life with us!! I hope you enjoy your break.

I only recently discovered you videos and am happily watching current ones while also catching up on those from the past. I live in a very populated area on the coast of Virginia and while there are some beautiful places it is often difficult to enjoy with how much it has been built up. Your videos are beautifully done and take me to a relaxing meditative place. I enjoy them early in the morning with tea or coffee. I visited Ireland from Dublin, down the southern coast and over to Shannon. There is so much more I would love to explore, especially after learning my ancestry. My second and third great grandfather's were from County Mayo. Wonderful facts I learned while working on my ancestry. Thank you for sharing your beautiful life with us!! I hope you enjoy your break.
