I’m 64. I am a widow and my children are adults. I have been living alone for almost ten years now and I absolutely love it! I’m in the best place in my life, physically, mentally, emotionally, and spiritually. I’m grateful for the family I have but I want to continue on as I am moving forward. Too many people have this idea that older women that are alone are to be pitied or something. They are so wrong!! I’m so content and would not trade places with anyone. Keep putting out these inspiring and realistic videos!

Im so grateful for the internet because we get to see older single women thriving in life and the path they have chosen. Since bata pa ako, di ko balak mag asawa. Now in my 30s and NBSB, I'm open naman if may darating and marry in my terms but if wala, i also look forward to being single forever. I now know the journey would be less isolating. ❤

It was just unfortunate that he's depressed, i hope he'll recover. We choose different paths and we also choose to be happy or not 🙂. At 50, I filed early retirement. For a couple of years now I don't feel the need to get out of my house except for necessary activities. I am grateful to relish the house I built before I retired. I mop the floor. I tend my ornamental plants and vegetable garden. I do macrame. I make DIY stuff out of jute. I returned to reading conventional books. I am writing again. I love the peace and quiet of my home. I learned that solitude is not loneliness. I was lonely being different in my workplace for a decade and a half. Now I am free living a life I want for myself. No deadlines. No targets. No superiors to please. The children have flown out of the nest except for the youngest. Congrats for this truthful videos.
This comment seems like you are describing me, haha! Except that i don't have children. I used to have an 8-5 job too and during the last 2 yrs before i retired i cannot already focus on my job, my mind is somewhere else until i decided to leave the workforce. Now, i am happy as ever 👍😀
@@cath7099 I'm happy for both you and I Cath for having the wisdom and courage to leave our jobs that meant to us. I had a falling out with my superiors. One day I just decided it was time to quit so I drafted my request for early retirement and at the end of 2022, I was tending full time to healing myself. The journey is messy but I love where I am now, enjoying my unhurried existence, travel when I can, see the few friends who remained true, and take care of the dogs and the house. Take you for sharing what's true.

This is an inspiring video. I’m on my late 30s now and have no plans to get married. I live alone (but not) lonely with my cats (and planning to add more pets and probably rescue animals once I secured my own place). Living alone, living slow, and being able to do what I want are really priceless.
I always say this...staying unmarried is not for everybody, you are still young, explore more, so that you'll have no regrets when you're older. Thank you for watching 👍😀

I was once married but realized it was a mistake so we parted ways, i can say it was a choice to choose the life i am living right now. I love my peace and quiet. As you grow older life's choices change. You are still young, just enjoy, do whatever makes you happy. Thank you so much for watching 👍😀

Beautiful tropical home..Love your knicknacks❤. It is not boring doing normal housework/ most of us like a clean home. My mother raised me to be a good homemaker...didn't much care until I was on my own. Be blessed.🙏
A couple years ago I started to de clutter as I try to be as minimal as possible and those knickknacks you saw were some of my favorites so I kept them. You're lucky that your Mother raised you to be a homemaker, our home is our sanctuary, so we keep it the way we want it, nice and clean. Am 60 , and I have lived alone since 2015. I enjoy my time and space alone and have girlfriends to talk to whenever I need to. This video showed me that I am one of the many women who are happy and contend living alone.

I don't want kids, but I am married to my best friend. Society always imposes upon us a timeline or certain mold for things--and if you do not follow, you arent deemed normal. Am glad to have found your channel. It's comforting to see older women thriving and living a different life than the usual❤

I am sorry to know that you just lost your husband. My sister also died last July 2023, it is sad but we can't do anything, life must go on. Living alone is okay as long as you take care of yourself and your health. 😀👍

Thank you. Sometimes i get lazy too and that is why i do a 10 minute cleaning challenge, i set a timer for 10 minutes and clean as much as i can in 10 minutes and oftentimes it works 😀. Thanks so much for watching 👍😄

Though ur video is not much aesthetically alluring like vloggers:fawziyeh, bayoona etc, the virtual interaction with same wavelength souls is your strength. Sad to see many lead a hermit/withdrawn life in this flashy world cherishing their choice to be in a bubble. But will we achieve and manifest all our longings of owning classic furnitures, jewels, gadgets etc with this mindset. Or we might ve to resort to lamentation n regrets?

One thing that prevented me from making these kinds of videos early on is because I am embarrassed of my house but I did it anyway and was so relieved that there are actually people out there who like it because they can relate. But of course there is nothing wrong with surrounding yourself with beautiful things...that is if you can afford it then why not. I think getting older we become introverted, maybe because we now have lesser energy for social interaction and greater appreciation for solitude. Thanks so much for watching my videos 👍😀

I just found your channel. I’m 59 taking care of my disabled husband and working full time. It’s nice to see someone else’s life and what they do . Do you have any hobbies you do?
2023 was very difficult for the family, my mother started to get sick in 2019 and i have to bring her often for medical check ups and sometimes she has to be hospitalized, i also worked full time at that time. Until i cannot anymore handle taking care of her while having a full time job and so i decided to retire in 2021. She passed away in March 2023. At that same time, my younger sister was also sick due to complications of breast cancer, I also took care of her a few months before she died because she did not want her children to see her health deteriorating. In short, they both died in the same year, only 4 months apart. The experience made me realize that life is short and we have to enjoy life while we can. God bless you for taking care of your disabled hubby. It's not easy i know. 🙂❤️

no, i don't think your life is boring. normal. that's how it looks. there is so much pressure to look "interesting" online, to the extent that many manufacture/massage what they show these days, so it's both refreshing and a relief to see that there are still "real" people left on the internet :)
