Die Hard Trilogy remake, WestWorld, Lethal Weapon, Tango & Cash, any of Arnie's movies such as Commando, Red Heat, Running Man... 'They Live' would be the best ARPG though... So much potential...
Another great video. If the devs behind Robocop and Terminator are gonna make a new ARPG based on an established badass IP, then I recommend keeping with the theme so far and go for something 80s related. My personal recommendation for IPs that would fit perfectly within the ARPG genre would be: 1.) He-Man and the Masters of the Universe (big bombastic fantasy world. unlimited game creativity) 2.) HIGHLANDER (Fantasy world but based in real life physics kinda like Robocop. Could be a hack n slash) 3.) Flash Gordon (Absolute peak, insane, 80s sci fi fantasy. A bombastic world with unlimited potential game creativity) 4.) Jonny Quest (a bit of a curveball but something I believe could work. Gameplay wise It could be similar to Jagged Alliance or Wasteland 3. Or if the devs want it to be a full on ARPG, then it could play similarly to The Ascent, an incredible action packed ARPG with nothing but guns) 5.) Judge Dredd (as you stated in the video, absolutely fertile ground for an action rpg)
A He-Man arpg would be purely epic! I cant believe I didnt even consider that, its such a great setting. Hell it wouldnt even just be swords and sorcery it would also have guns and steam punk style vechiles. Honestly anyone one of your recommendations would be great to see Teyon get their hands on and turn into an ARPG.
Honestly, looking at their output thus far, as well as their dedication to accurately representing the worlds of beloved IPs, I think they would absolutely nail anything you or I suggest. But one thing stated in the video that I wholeheartedly disagree with, is the notion that Teyon is a AAA company. They are not. Teyon is AA (double A). They are bigger than indies but smaller than AAA (triple A) corporations. They occupy that middle ground that studios like Spiders, Focus Entertainment, and Piranha Bytes reside in.
@@PriorNicholas692 I completely agree Teyon is more of a AA dev. I compared them to a AAA studio to show that we may end up seeing this game sooner then we think. SInce they made Robocop in roughly 3 years time. While AAA studios like Bethesda can make an annoucment and show nothing for six years.
oh of course! I apologize if I made any offense. That was never my intention. I just always find it odd when someone compares the finances or output of AA or indie studios with AAA studios. But it seems I wasn't listening closely enough. All in all, I would be absolutely stunned if the project Teyon is working on released in 2 to 3 years and is as good or even exceeds the quality of Robocop or Terminator Resistance.

For starters i don't think it should be escaped from NY or LA. They should do the character of snake in a new setting. If they go with that. Dredd I'm down whatever they do. As long as there is at least one level on the bike. Punisher would be dope if we are talking about Marvel or DC. Go full violence mode with the RPG elements. Now on my other ideas a Predator game like the second movie, set in the city would be cool especially if you play half the game as a human character and then as the predator, aliens have a great future at SEGA so I'm cool with that. Finally maybe Highlander
Also the crow maybe. MAYBE though. I thinks it's the hardest of the bunch. Outta carpenter properties also Big Trouble In Little China sequel or even an Assault On Precinct 13 as a spin off. So much potential
I think they could pull off New York or LA since they have only been done in movie format. Although I would be opened for any other city as well, maybe escape from Chicago? as for your other ideas I would be done for any of them! Punisher would be awesome to see brought back, he hasnt had a good game since the ps2 era. Predator would be awsome as well, did you play concrete Jungle? You played as the predator in a city enviroment, it was a really good game. As for Highlander... yeah that could work as well. go around cutting off the heads of other warriors until you are the only one left.
@@REAPERGAMINGGR I am really not sold on the Crow idea.. though I sure they could make it work. However Big Trouble in Little China is one of my favorite movies of all time! I would def play that game. Another Idea would be an Army of Darkness ARPG, I think that could be a ton of fun.
@@flexin85 Yeah concrete jungle and the PS2 punisher games where both dope back in the day. I just think that especially the predator needs justice after all the mid tier iterations of his in video games as of recent.
@@BADDWOLF1 I thought New York was the better movie, but LA did have some cool aspects to it. Plus it was nice to see Bruce Campbell as the leader of that weird Hollywood cult addicted to plastic surgery lol

I agree They Live would be amazing as an ARPG, didnt even think of that franchise.
The Warriors would be another good franchise to turn into an ARPG.
