But But But.... if you go for research labs in MNCs which is more tough to get into ...you will earn a good some money (1 lakh dollars starting) but then you required PhD from a good foreign universities, research aptitude, and focused mindset. Wtf spening 20 lakhs for 4-5 LPA? Like for real? Its too low for a college like that. I have seen that even the private colleges with 12-15 lakhs fees will provide atleast 7-8 LPA. My college didn't even have placements so i simply went for off campus placements and got 5-6 LPA which even got considered low by others. She's telling it too low than the reality.

If you're gonna take admission then in my recommendation,find a college with less or no attendance requirements.

I work in the field she is studying for. Even average engineers can easily ask for around >16-17 lpa once they finish a year or two in those starter companies that offer 4-5 lpa. The money can be easily made back in a few years.
If she becomes really good, she can honestly go for 30-40 lpa jobs right in her second job. Good luck to her 😊

If she's getting 4-5 LPA job after spending 20 Lacs, it's just a waste of money, and the way she says "I'll be training the models", feels like that she just discovered AI/ML, as there is plenty more work than just training the models
I'm spending 6 Lacs(including everything) on my engineering, and people are getting 25-40 LPA job if they're preparing well from the beginning, and I'm in 3rd yr, and working tirelessly from the beginning, did multiple hackathons including SIH, internships, freelancing in various companies, so I'd expect it to be a six figures salaried job
She needs to rethink her situation and the reality of AI
