55 year old and have started using AI in my job, no one else in the company is using it or trying it out. Scary to start something as a beginner but everyone started somewhere
Good for you buddy, im 53 have been studying code for three years, and I think it was an awesome decision. You wont regret It
As a 40yr trying to get into the field this gives me hope.
54 yo and traditional engineer. Have almost convinced my boss to allow me to build AI to leverage another of my projects. Am also bit nervous, but excited too.
Amazing how they aren’t using it but the business definitely is with scheduling.
Thank you, Dave! This is such an informative walkway to-do list! 😊
Dave, well said. I praise your maturity in calling out very clearly all that no-code hype from other YT channels, and that you have to learn to code.
Well said! I do not to like no-code tools😅 it’s cool if we can combine low-code + pro-code
Rpa is no code
especially as it pertains to chatbots too much cap on YT
Lol I'm willing to dive into generative ai. And I know that I'll have to learn a lot of coding to train and fine tune models before actually building no code solutions lol. Ai developer or ai engineer is called so for a reason.
Lol I was removing it from watch later cause I thought it had No code approach bullshit after those checkpoints but thankgod I saw your comment 😂😂
This is a really well made roadmap and video! Good luck on your RUclips career!
literally this is the most useful stuff i watched on data science and ai ml topic which cover everything perfectly. u deserve my sub man. keep it up. love ur content.
is still good for people that has adhd

Thanks for this video! It is exactly what I've been looking for. I'm planning a career pivot into the AI/ML field after spending 20 years as a tech HW product manager. I've felt a strong urge to become more of a solo individual contributor, or possibly a project founder in time, and like your description of freelance data scientist. I've been actively learning Python, and this helps sketch out a roadmap for the next steps.
Hi sir could u pls tell from u learning python plz🙏
Thanks, man. As a full-stack web developer, I now feel like AI can essentially transform me into a super engineer given the possibilities AI has for both no-code and coded projects. Thanks for this roadman, Dave.
Hey bro, I am looking to learn full stack development, can you please guide me how to get started
Dave, your AI roadmap video has me truly excited! As someone who's not completely new to the field, I find your insights incredibly valuable. I've admired your work for a while, and now, more than ever, I'm looking forward to joining your community and engaging with like-minded enthusiasts. Keep leading the way in AI, and thank you for creating such an inviting and educational space! #JoiningDave'sCommunity
I am watching your Fitness Tracker playlist. It's awesome. I really appreciate such full projects where the thought process is also explained. Need more please.
He made something like that? What does it do?
Thank you man, you said what I needed to hear. I'm in college and I needed the push to keep going to finish my masters in AI.
Great vid! Love that you point out the disadvantages of Bopress, Flowise and other no-code/low-cod tools. Although they are great tools they lack some customizability -a lot of Botpress bots I have seen on youtube from AI automation agencies RUclipsrs are just funnels within in a chatbot with a not-so-very-impressive AI element. Love that you point out AI is more than that and where real value for businesses is found!
True, these tools are good to spin up quick prototypes and get companies excited about using AI, but you will soon run into customization and scaling options.
Excellent !!! you hit the bulls eye. This is what I exactly searching for.
I just want to say thank you so much for this video. You and I have the same learning style. You really answered some of the questions I have had trying to get into IT. My life has taken a drastic turn so in learning something new.
Good stuff, Dave! I love where you are going with this.
Thanks Lucas!
RUclips recommended me this video.
I am grateful for this.
Great video. Thanks.
Now, I am subscribed to this channel.❤
Love your idea about sharing 😊👍🏻 Thanks so much. Subscribed!
Thanks for this video, Dave. I decided instead of depending on third-party software to build me automation services, I would make it myself. This really helps me out. I appreciate it 🙏
Bro, thanks for that video. Your content is amazing! + one subscriber
Dave, well said.I praise you in calling out very clearly all that no-code and low code are adequate solutions as a goal, and that you do not have to learn to code.
Great approach! Love your vids
Great start for AI and projects resources.thank you!🎉
Teaching is professional brother, thanks for the information
I am 42 and a Data Science & AI aspirant! I am going to take the guidance from Data Alchemy in this knowledge pursuit and becoming a student again! Thank you Dave! This generation is way better wired than what people think!
it's too late, it's a game for kids. Im 42 and I understand that it's too late, even tho I have a programming background.
@@bigbang259 Not too late but it does require some considerable effort. It's also about math and it's running so fart that you have to catch up
@@bigbang259 If you have programming background it is never too late. i see people with no programming background venturing into AI and Data Analytics
I'm going to be 33 this year and also planning a career change into Data Science!
@@ilovedogs938 you better hurry up. The game is getting tougher every day it's not like tomorrow will be the same as today every day it is getting more difficult to get into the field
Hi Dave, thanks for the wonderful content. This will help a lot of people. Do you have a video for a day in a life as a data scientist?
another gold nugget, much appreciated Dave! 🍻
Thank you so much for this amazing explanation and clarification Dave😍
Tnx Dave, it was a huge help to me. I appreciate what u do and your contribution

Thank you for the information. I will be making good use of it.
Beautiful video- thanks for sharing
This is such a well-articulated explanation of the industry. Thank you for this.
apart from the all-male perspective... what about women working in AI???
i love your mindset and your accent too. brilliant
Goeie video Dave. Ga er zeker iets mee doen! Thanks
Really enjoy your video! Keep them coming!
Thanks, will do!
Great Video and Thank you so much for the clear Explanation.
Kudos on the excellent video! Your hard work is acknowledged. Could we expect a video about DemoGPT from you?
I'm a computer science student on my 4th semester, and currently doing my specialization with SPA, ML / AI in mind. I really lacked some motivation, cause I was so confused where to start in such a big new field as AI is. Your video has just inspired me with various resources. Lets go!
Did chatgpt write this lmao

I'm glad you don't sugar coat it by watering down the need for learning the coding and math aspects of machine learning and AI. Thank you.
Brilliant, man! Keep it up and thanks for sharing such valuable info.
I agee with you. The best advice on how to learn pretty much anything..! Thanks for sharing
Great video! Some key points were highlighted that I hadn't heard anyone else discuss. Thank you!
Thank you for your refreshing take. Found my starting point! 😊
incredibly helpful, thank you so much, subbed.
Thank you for this very valuable video!
thank you so much.As a second year student of BTech in Computer Science Engineering now I've to choose any domain so I got puzzled and searched so many channels on what to do. Just Because I love mathematics I chose machine learning but your roadmap is very interesting...And wowww the Data alchemy is just wowww...
found your video really helpful from the many videos I went through. I wanted clarification on the python compiler you suggested that you use(the part where you said this was the missing step between RUclips vids and running Python on your own computer). Could you share the link or name so I could download it?
I started learning AI/ML back in 2020 (before the LLM hype) right around the time of the pandemic. I needed to brush up on the calculus, linear algebra and statistics I've forgotten since university. I have a beyond high-level understanding of most ML algorithms. For instance, I know ChatGPT is a decoder-only transformer architecture that calculates a probability distribution used for next-word prediction.
To work in this field requires lifelong learning. I put in the work and will continue putting in the work. The idea of low code/no code "engineers" profiting off this tech is just super sus. Maybe I'm just an old man yelling at clouds.
I guess as engineers, we just see the flaws of these tools ;)
How's your journey so far ? Can you provide me with your email id
You hit it right on the Nail, I have bought books in the past and simply never completed the learning because nothing in the book would work with my environment. Either because the software or codes don't work or are out of date.
Seems like a really helpful channel. Great video here. Thanks!
Many thanks for your sharing!
thank you for the resources and guidance!
Thank you very much! It’s a great video
This video helped me gain perspective on AI. Very well facilitated and the information you shared was excellent, Dave.
A huge thank you from me!
