Britney is extremely coherent, has well organized thoughts, and communicates perfectly fine. I don’t think there’s any judge in the world who wouldn’t feel sadness for the last 13 years that she was practically tortured. Free Britney.
She did not speak well. Someone should have helped her write out what she wanted to say. I have no idea how you could comment that. I’m not saying Britney is crazy. But she definitely did not explain herself well. She’s all over the place. And keeps saying the word “honestly” over and over. And she keeps saying she wants them to end the conservatorship without an evaluation. It makes her sound like she needs an evaluation more.

@@JM-ln8bi if there’s so much to explain, over 13 years of torture, shes not going to explain it in a perfectly organized, autobiographical chapter by chapter of her life. She just explaining a snippet of a fraction of all the ways this conservatorship was inhumane and too torturous and abusive of her rights as a normal human being. She’s also nervous to speak publicly about this. Anyone would sound a little shaky being that she’s doing exactly what “they” told her not do, “or else”. We can only hope the judge sees it this way.

She’s telling her story with emotions so of course it’s no with perfect diction. They didn’t use the conservatorship to protect her but to abuse and manipulate her. She's nervous also possibly because she's speaking in court, this is her only chance for some time, and she knows there's a LOT riding on this. I think most people would sound way more visibly nervous and that she actually held up superbly well.

This audio recording is so devastating. You can literally hear 30 years worth of anger exploding out all at once because this is the first time Britney is able to speak up for herself. It’s so sad
She's nervous af, and this is what survivors sound like when they are speaking out for the first time. The fact that she's repeatedly saying the same thing over and over, shows she is desperate to make her point clear and she's staying consistent with her side of things. Being bipolar doesn’t mean you’re not capable of managing your own affairs. There are over 3 million people a year diagnosed with bipolar disorder in the United States alone. They’re not living under a conservatorship.
I’m a doctor and I have a few mental illnesses, I am medicated and it doesn’t effect my job at all! I am a very good doctor I’ve been told by my head of medicine that I am one of his top ER doctors. You are so right! She doesn’t need to be under control. As a doctor myself I cannot understand how she was given all this medication and told she has dementia. She clearly does not. Dementia is progressive and she’s been diagnosed for well over 10 years it would be very apparent by now if she did have it. She performs perfectly, she speaks eloquently, and she cooks meals for herself very well.

The problem is that although disgusting, all of this abuse is technically legal. The court approves every money expenditure, medical care, and action done by daddy and his lawyers. The judge knew what Britney was going through but didn't give a goddamn care to how it affected Britney. It had to take a big years-long commotion from both her and fans for judge to have no choice but to care about what Britney has to say. It's appalling and I have no respect for that poor excuse of a judge in any capacity.

The more I listen to this, the more sad I feel for her. While I was never in a conservatorship, I too was a victim of abusive relatives and peers as well as other people who were supposed to have my best interests in mind. Clearly they did not. They rendered me bruised and broken but still fighting.

A real father would make sure she would get all the time she needed to heal, not thinking about making money and looking out for her money does not mean getting payed. Also...
