About us:
We're Jack & Megan, and in late 2020 we sold our belongings and packed our lives into our 2005 Toyota Troop Carrier to travel Australia. Our original plan was to complete a full lap of Australia and return home to Perth to resume our 'normal' lives. We decided we wanted to document our lap for the future and began sharing weekly travel vlogs of our life on the road and fell in love vlogging, filmmaking and sharing our lives with you. We completed our first lap and couldn't imagine living any other way so we decided to continue travelling and calling the Troopy home. We have gone on some crazy adventures since then and it is all thanks to you tuning in to join us every week.

Such a great vlog - even better knowing you were battling two illnesses. Glad you both had such a great time on the boat. We all have these big plans when travelling and sharing content online, and it's near impossible to keep going while you're sick. I feel your disappointment Megan (I've been taken out too and it's so hard to keep filming/shooting through it). I'm sure none of your viewers hold you to everything you promise. We are just so grateful you take us along and show us what you do experience :)

Yes I think most of the disappointment came from wanting to share our travels as honestly as possible and it was hard to fill the gaps and portray just how crappy those few days were when the ones before it were so great 😅 really appreciate your kind words and support, we are so grateful we are able to share the experience!

Thank you for showing us the most beautiful and probably not so well known parts of Bali. You've obviously had a wonderful time despite the setbacks. Hope you have a speedy return to wellness Megan. Don't feel bad - no matter how cautious I am when I make regular trips to Victoria to see my daughter, I seem to end up with some sort of lurgy that hits me like a truck on the second day and flattens me for a week! (And this is on domestic flights.)

Glad your health issues are clearing up Megan .. anyone who travels full knows that plans can and will change at the drop of a hat ... I have just exited the Maytown area as i crashed my Drone so my "very general" idea of a plan has gone out the window until i send it away for repairs. I really never make plans as they rarely if ever work out ... Booking stuff is best done day by day where possible.
Those kind of incidents are mostly unforseen and it's never easy to make the decision to return home. But your health is important. We can't wait to see what you get up to in Singapore!

But after seeing your videos seeing such beautiful places you have visited it has opened my eyes to seeing a totally different side of this place. After getting Bali belly many years ago, I now always take probiotics a couple of weeks before travelling and during. This has saved me travelling Vietnam, Thailand, Philippines, and working in India for months. Friends and colleagues who I have traveled with get sick, but we have been ok. I generally take the ones you get from the fridge at the pharmacy, which the pharmacist takes themselves. Thanks for the videos, and great to see you are on.
Sad that you couldn't finish your Bali trip. Glad that you're improving and hope that you get the all clear and it doesn't impede your further adventures.

You guys havent failed anything at all! you've captured your time in Bali perfectly. Its sad it had to come to an abrupt end, but sometimes you cant help it. Health is a hell of a lot more important, so its just good that Megan pulled through and is feeling a lot better. It certainly doesnt require an apology. You guys are great, so I'm glad you guys are doing okay

Here is a tip about your mask fogging up make sure you toothpaste the lens in a circle motion and rinse it off . before you is it . When you use it put some baby shampoo on the lens then wash it off no more fogging cold or hot water . Hopefully your feeling better 😊
My husband and I have never been to Bali, in fact Ive never left Australia, but we did take a friend to the airport once, so that he could go to Bali, and my husband picked up Bali belly from the toilets at Perth airport...........we were violently ill (literally coming out both ends) for the entire time our friend was away on holiday and recovered just in time to pick him up again at the airport......lol
