To be fair as an adhd person being interrupted over and over is like pushing an instant anger button it’s already hard to think so stopping that thought process before it’s said is very overwhelming very quickly…adhd is weird because in certain moods you would care less about being held at gunpoint than not being able to talk …but we’ll also interrupt you to get that thought out as fast as possible so it’s a very viscous cycle

(Discussion with my dad, where he basically berated me for something I didn't do. Then when I want to explain why it COULDNT have been me. He interrupted and said "we're not discussing this" and walked off"
This is literally what I have to live with everyday as a quieter person in my extremely talkative family. I have to yell sometimes so people can hear me and then they get mad at me for yelling. Or I’ll just be quiet and then people say I’m too quiet 😭
