You earned your like at 5:00 when you beautifully described Jill's visit to the S.T.A.R.S office with a complimentary sandwich and being a master of unlocking. Excellent Choice!
Carlos should just be brought back by blue umbrella. It would make sense that he is known by umbrellas new form however I think they aren't allowed to have their own military squads. Still they can have him part of BSAA in re9 after he was sent to join them by recommendation from blue umbrella....or something... there's a number of reasons/excuses to bring him back. He was in Raccoon City and the series says that's all that it takes to be an anti-BOW mercenary.

I think RE3 is my favorite of the games. I mean I would say RE4 but we all love that game so like lol. Let's be fair here! Nemesis to this day still scares the crap out of me and it's a fun game to play. Every playthrough is slightly different especially with the choice system and man I feel so sad it was scraped in the remake... I think it would be cool if Capcom re-did REmake 3 slightly by applying a major patch/update to it but I don't see that happening. I think the major things they could do to fix it is add the selection system and add a clock tower segment beyond being a boss arena. Those would be my 2 wishes for that game and that would be amazing if they did it. The remake was fine but honestly I think I'll find myself playing the original a few more times and the remake...not really. Your videos are actually pretty good despite seeming amatuer-rate (psh, like I'm one to talk? lol) but I do like them, and while this might sound a bit arrogant of me I would not mind helping you out with some of what you talk about. I have noticed a couple things that could be corrected in your videos such as the Metroid Fusion one. Anyway thanks for the video, you earned a sub from me for sure!
@@BoulderPunch I don't mind REmake 3 but it didd some good and bad stuff. Like I said I think I could take it if it were to add clock tower segment, and live selection.

There are two endings for this game. Ending A has Barry saving you via a helicopter. Ending B has Carlos flying the helicopter away. The first Resident Evil game to not give you an opportunity to choose a different character to play. The first one you could choose Jill or Chris. The second one gave you a choice of Leon or Claire. This one you can only play as Jill, however, you do play as Carlos in a certain point in the game.
A way to mitigate the issue with the dodge is to hold the shoot button so if you dodge, you will shoot immediately after. Also the dodge mechanic in og resident 3 is kinda underrated in my opinion because it's not abusivable like in other videogames and you have to know every enemy attack pattern to use the dodge properly. Also, for many people, it feels like it works only when it wants because most don't know, like you mentioned in the video, if you are close to a wall, it isn't very effective (and I believe it was intended to be that way to balanced the mechanic). I actually think it's a very well balanced mechanic and can lead to very cool situations where you dodge 5 nemesis' attacks in a row or humiliate a pack a cerberus that are desperately jumping and trying to take a bit of you xd but only get dodges and bullets. But the mechanic is hard to learn because it requires knowledge that the game doesn't give you, you don't actually need to know how to use it to beat the game although it makes more fun and easier, and it also requires high execution, and the camera angles work against the mechanic in many situations.
i am currently loving resident evil 0 i just love the addition of blowing there legs off lol obviously head to the only thing is headshot decaps aren't a guarantee if you aim up at close range like in 1 and damn the train stage is just amazing
I always wondered why the announcer didn't say 3 and I didn't know there was a version of this game that was released in 2003 and the announcer said 3. Is this the GameCube version?
Why can't Capcom provide these types of remasters? Why does it always have to come from the community, always doing a better job than the devs for free
Leon and Jill likely know of each other, since they both keep in touch with Chris and Claire. But they probably haven't had time to meet since there is constantly some crazy shit going down.
It's worth noting the games rng. It's small but it adds some replay. The Magnum for example is 50/50, it can be a grenade launcher which speed runners crave, most will quit and restart if they get magnum. Also, gunpowders and some items change places randomly on runs, the restaurant encounter can be different if you go to the sales office first and same vice versa, killing the grave digger on the first encounter isn't a waste of ammo, it drastically lowers its hp in the second fight, you get a lot more hp cut from it than you use in ammo so its worth doing as it's a easy kill, you might get hit once or twice if you don't know the signs but still worth it. Then the live-choices do offer some story deviation as you said, some benefit you giving access to different areas you normally wont visit (notably jumping out the sales office window gives the back ally, has some herbs, little thing but cool). Nothing however can undersell how great Nemesis is in this, if you kill him every time he will keep off your back and never put pressure on you but new players will struggle with this and flee leading him to chase you through the streets, the rpd, the clock towers etc, it is amazing looking how much pressure he keeps on the player. Some disliked this but man did it add some great fear to his character. They took OG Mr x who was largely pointless as he only showed up a few times and put him on steroids, gave him rockets and let him walk the streets.
i should have subbed to your channel earlier, great review, the Classic RE3 is my favorite among the Trilogy, it might be the masterpiece like REmake or RE2 98, but it’s definitely special on it own and it’s certified Classic now, unfortunately it’s remake didn’t do that well at least for me…
4:40 okay so pro tip against Nemesis here: Use ONLY handgun and transform ALL bullet powder into handgun ammo you can before the fight. Stay close to him so he won't lunge against you he will remain using his reach attack which is quite easy to dodge even by just moving around him. Keep the fight as middle of the police station entrance as possible to avoid being stuck in a corner. Shotgun is useless against Nemesis because it is too slow to shoot, he will just decimate your ass. On hard mode you get the weapon part box, so you should only fight him on hard mode but then again, on easier modes you have a lot of bullets and healing, so you can just kill him and take the keycard from Brad's corpse to skip S.T.A.R.S. keycard puzzle inside police station.
I remember the Nemesis scaring the crap out of me and my friends the moment i opened a door and he burst out running at me the moment the door screen finished loading. Dude made me flip backwards away from the tv and almost out of my room lol. And the time he burst through the window at the RPD, goodness that was a crazy jump scare. Remake Nemesis was just handled so poorly, what a shame.
Regarding Jill's outfit, I like to imagine that she was caught unprepared by the apocalypse thing and had to make due. Plus she looks lovely in that outfit, so I don't care.
The first part of the game is set before the events of RE2 the second part (when Jill wakes up in the clock tower) is set a few days later after Carlos gives her the antidote for the T-Virus
If I were to take a wild guess, I'd imagine she jumped out because of the raging inferno engulfing the building. I could be wrong, could also be the zombie horde roaming about? Or quite possibly, the raging inferno creating a flaming zombie horde? maybe d0_ob
While I really enjoyed the remake, it made me love and appreciate this classic even more. No monster in the entire Resident Evil franchise tops the original Nemesis in my opinion. Even Mr. X in the RE2 remake didn't quite carry the same intensity that Nemesis in the original RE3 did (though he came close). On a side note, I think you're being too hard on Code Veronica. Sure, a few sections aren't particularly well thought out (namely the character swapping), but it's still classic RE in all its glory. Rock Fort Island is one of my favorite settings in the series, The Nosferatu is one of my favorite bosses and the story, while over the top and ridiculous, is really engaging and entertaining. As for RE0...it's okay. The train is a really unique environment, but the training facility feels like an inferior retread of the Spencer Mansion. None of the boss fights were very good and the partner/item mechanic can make the game feel drawn out and tedious.
RECV is awesome. Great locations, well designed enemies & interesting villains(cross dressing freaks). It goes back to the 2 character zap system, great music & puzzles too.
I don't think I could make a choice between Resident Evil 3 and Code Veronica X for nostalgica purposes. I remember playing Resident Evil 3 while travelling to Greece, I felt slightly bad for selecting easy mode when I came back home, but being abroad in the moment, I just needed a franchise I was familar with and have a good time in general. Code Veronica X was a late one for me and I felt I needed to see it through. So I started chilling with it a mid december and by the time I reached the end it was Christmas, haha. Really cosy times.
interconnected does not mean none liner, this's literally the most none-liner RE game ever, you can do so many things in different orders and get different outcomes
A masterpiece of a game, forever tainted by the lazy cash grabbing remake. The did Jill and Nemesis dirty in that game. I will forever miss the Julia Voth facial model for Jill. I will admit I do love Carlos more in the remake though I miss the Charming but slightly sleazy puerto rican who shamelessly hits on Jill the minute he meets her but I do not like him simping nice guy who showers Jill with praise endlessly. I would prefer these two got off on the wrong foot and want nothing to do with each other. Thats the one change I would do in the remake.
Its RNG so yes random everytime! Look up waifuruns video on re3 the speed running on the game is insane the amount of randomness and such in that game is so wild the guy with the world.record had every tiny little thing go just right for him its really amazing to watch
Re2 original is way too easy to be worrying about item/inventory management. Re1 is the title to play if you really want to experience that true RE resource management flow. Re3 still does it with more interesting item examinations and combinations, all while actually making the game scary with different jump scares on subsequent playthroughs, nemesis, and actual difficulty (on hard mode, only way to play of course).
You should try nightmare mode on the dreamcast version of RE2. Base difficulty is on the easy side, even on hard mode, but RE2 on nightmare is probably the hardest of the fixed camera games.
Yeah classic is just the best Feels like classic Carlos doesn't get his proper due, still like him more than new Jill is a determinator in the classic game, no matter how difficult she says there's a chance, the conflict she has is nemesis his opposite determined to kill her and gets a one up on her Which she actually reflects on and fears turning more than new her and cheap dream sequences Carlos even more here Starts brash and just taking it lightly, time to flirt, mild stress but isn't a pushover like new, calls kill out on taking the blame for umbrella virus and defends her later cause she helped him which he saw her do Then realises it's hopeless and gives up, wants to "end it on his terms" and runs off, then after Jill infected grows and gains that will and keeps it Even Barry does unlike new game Just so much more going for it than new one which only has visuals, different game style and weaker designs cause "realistic"
Leon might probably did meet jill offscreen since after leon have meet chris in code Veronica some point and I laughed at the part and caught me off guard when you brought up civvie 11 out of nowhere in this video lmao 🤣 and btw why are you calling nemesis a nemie ? That something what spherehunter would say those cringe nicknames 😂
0:57, Brah, those flashes hurt, thank SCP 343 I am not epileptic, but please be mindful. Only Wesker is evil enough to kill people with flashing lights.
I'd rather play the original over the remake and it shouldn't be that way. Re1 remake masterpiece Re2 remake masterpiece Re3 remake major letdown. I'm convinced they didn't even play the original and instead just drank beer and paid half attention to speedrun footage of the original.
Honestly this is the last resident evil I enjoyed because of how the game flowed, I haven't played the remake yet! Don't get me wrong I love 4 but this is the last game that the characters seemed liked scared trying to survive and not action to the extreme!
The dodge works on easy 100% of the time on most versions only on hardcore is it clunky as fuck it mind blows me how much people don't know this. Its either a bug or intended
Love the videos have a Playlist of em all. But about 7 minutes in you messed up a little bit. Not big deal but check it out if your feeling inquisitive
I’ve always felt RE3 was the weakest of the mainline games. I can’t pinpoint why exactly, but I’d say it’s similar to the way 6 strayed too far from 4. I found Nemesis frustrating, and the puzzling/exploration aspect basically non-existent.
I actually think the complete opposite. I thought the exploration and backtracking was done very well, especially having to find what you're looking for with Nemesis appearing randomly to make things more difficult. And it had enough puzzles to keep you honest, like the water puzzle and the puzzles at the hospital and clocktower. The game is a little faster paced than other re games, but it still maintains a nice balance of slow paced gameplay when you do have to explore and find items for progression and having to adjust based on the the quick choices the game forces you to make when Jill is faced with the Nemesis or another dangerous situation. The game lets the player breathe and explore, while the remake just rushes the player along. The Nemesis was terrifying as well. Overall, it's a beast game imo.
Good grief Jill is such an entitled diva in this game...dudes cucking to her behavior is the root cause of toxic women...though I did like her in RE1 Remake, 5 and Rev1...
Probably the worst part about this game are the puzzles, they're totally random and have no logic behind, most of the times you just have to try every combination possible to solve them. It's almost like they just put them just because people expected it, and it's pretty much confirmed seeing how the franchise abbandoned them progressively with the following games.
I bought RE3 remake recently and I stopped half way through. It is a truly awful game, dull and boring mostly consisting of boss fights. It's not just not as good as RE2 it's not remotely in the same league. Dreadful game,

Just call it R3make lol

was something removed around 13:05?
Re2 original is way too easy to be worrying about item/inventory management. Re1 is the title to play if you really want to experience that true RE resource management flow.
Re3 still does it with more interesting item examinations and combinations, all while actually making the game scary with different jump scares on subsequent playthroughs, nemesis, and actual difficulty (on hard mode, only way to play of course).
You should try nightmare mode on the dreamcast version of RE2. Base difficulty is on the easy side, even on hard mode, but RE2 on nightmare is probably the hardest of the fixed camera games.
I completely disagree with you about RE0.
That game is great!
Resident Evil 3 is my favorite
11:51 😂😂😂
Yeah classic is just the best
Feels like classic Carlos doesn't get his proper due, still like him more than new
Jill is a determinator in the classic game, no matter how difficult she says there's a chance, the conflict she has is nemesis his opposite determined to kill her and gets a one up on her
Which she actually reflects on and fears turning more than new her and cheap dream sequences
Carlos even more here
Starts brash and just taking it lightly, time to flirt, mild stress but isn't a pushover like new, calls kill out on taking the blame for umbrella virus and defends her later cause she helped him which he saw her do
Then realises it's hopeless and gives up, wants to "end it on his terms" and runs off, then after Jill infected grows and gains that will and keeps it
Even Barry does unlike new game
Just so much more going for it than new one which only has visuals, different game style and weaker designs cause "realistic"
13:17 Dude, how did you change your voice?!
Can someone send me the old version of resident evil 3 nemesis... I mean the soft copy that I can download on my system... Thanks
Next RE cgi movie Leon and Jill might finally meet!
I was already subbed but that civvie11 joke broke me
What's with sound timing?
I was left wanting to see the new carlos and Jill again too :( they were way more interesting than Leon and Claire
0:57, Brah, those flashes hurt, thank SCP 343 I am not epileptic, but please be mindful. Only Wesker is evil enough to kill people with flashing lights.
I want Jill to give me a wild ride.
I'd rather play the original over the remake and it shouldn't be that way.
Re1 remake masterpiece
Re2 remake masterpiece
Re3 remake major letdown.
I'm convinced they didn't even play the original and instead just drank beer and paid half attention to speedrun footage of the original.
It wasn’t as bad as people made it out to be.
@@AidanMillward no you're right...it worse as people made it out to be
Honestly this is the last resident evil I enjoyed because of how the game flowed, I haven't played the remake yet! Don't get me wrong I love 4 but this is the last game that the characters seemed liked scared trying to survive and not action to the extreme!
Barbie Jill is my favorite. (This one)
GameCube is the only uncensored version
In all honesty, that water puzzle is cake. That stupid clock tower clock puzzle is cheeks.
The dodge works on easy 100% of the time on most versions only on hardcore is it clunky as fuck it mind blows me how much people don't know this. Its either a bug or intended
The 1999 remake is the only one tHat did justice to the original and added more These new remakes remove too many things and call it a day
OG RE3 is great the Remake is terrible
not the best but my favorite
Action Oriented? Bruh.. Have you witnessed what lurks in Raccoon City?
Yeah I'm gonna need you to bring everything fuckin weapon you can find.
Love the videos have a Playlist of em all. But about 7 minutes in you messed up a little bit. Not big deal but check it out if your feeling inquisitive
I love this game
Well there’s actually backstory of why she’s dressed like that and why she jumped out the doors if you took the time to look into.
Maybe that is not her home and it's what clothes she found in a teen room.
This was more of a walkthrough than a review.
Weskers desk... which has the hottest photo in the game.
I miss julia
If you are only 30 you are not a boomer js...anyways good video
Sounds more like a how to than a review
I love that they remodeled Jill to look like Sienna Guillory. She was such a great live-action Jill.
For someone who doesn't like the RE3 remake, you sure quote it a lot!
I hate when ppl call him "nemie"... Jesus I hate that
Civvie lol😶🌫
Why does he keep saying "my 30 year old boomer mind"?
Good grief Jill is such an entitled diva in this game...dudes cucking to her behavior is the root cause of toxic women...though I did like her in RE1 Remake, 5 and Rev1...
ahaha nice
Resident evil 3 remake was great yah content was cut owell we got the game. It is what it is I rather have it than not.
Dreadful game,
My boi... do you even know what a review is?
30 year old boomer mind? Do you know what boomer means lmao
You have no idea what "boomer" is!
If you're 30 years old, you are not a boomer, you're a millennial.
"Boomers" were the generation born between 1946 and 1964(roughly).
Know what you're talking about before spouting bollocks.
It was a joke like "wow I'm so old" but im 25. Jesus man.
r/wooosh
If you are 30 you are not a boomer. You're a millennial.
