I would really like to see the Mao ink in regular production. My undergraduate degree is in political science, and I would love to have a bottle of this ink!
I find all your videos so fascinating. I love history, that is one reason why I enjoy your products (they tell a bit of history ). Will Durant is one of my favorite authors who covers a lot of ground in world history, his style of writing intrigues me (though he is out of print his amount of information is vast). Keep up the great work and all that you do. Hope to see some of your Boston Safety Pen products at the Colorado Pen Show in October. I have the Chestnut Boston Safety Pen and I couldn't be happier with that pen (not to mention along with my Ahabs, Konrad, Nib Creapers,Neponsets and Charlie pens plus the inks).
Wow you have some great products for the lucky Boston folks. I wish I had all of them! I do have two Boston Safety pens, so I can't complain. I love the history that you present here with your inks. Keep up the good work!
Nathan - you are always amazing and educational. I wish I lived close enough to Boston (or any other place) to attend a Pen Show with your items. I own and very much enjoy your Chestnut colored Safety Pen and would very much like to have your demonstrator version. I hope it becomes commercially available. Thanks!
Mr. Tardif, it was a pleasure meeting you at the show today. As I said earlier, for public benefit, thanks for making flex pens a thing again. The thought you put into the design of your products for utility and serviceability are top notch. I've just made the 5 hour drive back home and can't wait to try out my safety pen and bonded inks.
I think this is the most impressive batch of show inks from you so far. I (and I believe a lot of individuals) would love if these inks were to become a regular.
I hope you do a new production of those demonstrator and inks for sale in Europe, that would be great. One question, what happened to Black Swan in Australian Roses that no longer has the same current color?
First Post whaow... .... Great stuff Nathan Gordon Bennett I wish I was in the USA I would definitely be at the show and my credit card would take a serious hit. At least one of everything would be bought. Definitely the inks, absolutely the demonstrator safety pen and the black ebonite one. I've made attempts to get a particular pen via the USA and the British but if the pens and ink don't all go at the show... I'll bite my arse. Nathan you deserve a medal for advertising and promoting the pen show, it must be a great event and I'm envious of my American cousins who are provided for by these events and by the retailers there. We love what your doing Nathan so please keep on doing it. Best wishes to all pen people. LeZc @@
I wish you could travel to the Colorado pen show next month instead of just being represented. I plan to check out Noodler's while attending. Would love a new bulletproof there, too.
I have a Noodler's Creaper flex pen. I really love the way this pen writes, and the way the celluloid feels. It's the first fountain pen that seems to be really suited to my handwriting style. Unfortunately, there are no dealers/distributors of Noodler's pens ad inks in South Africa, and I hope that this may change one day. I'd love to be able to buy these pens and inks locally.
Thanks for being true. I’m enjoying a couple of your inks and have your Nikita w/pen on the way. Will be the first of your pens I’ll have. Anyway, just wanted to say “Hello” and let you know that I love your videos, inks and your ethic.
So glad to get me demonstrator Safety Pen today. Thanks for crushing it to the last minute to have they available. Did you sell more of them than the British?
I'm one of the (many) people who have asked for anti feather inks in different colours; I would not hesitate to pay more for an antifeather red/blue/green/purple. I'm sure many others would agree with me! I hope Maoxi can see regular production soon!
Wonderful ... We need to bring your ink range to India ..your goals of affordability and utility are very appropriate here ... we have a thriving pen community, calligraphy experts and it's a great market for Noodler's Inks ... Let me know if I can help
I bought one of the demonstrator pens at the show, but I'm having difficulty getting it to lay down ink, and I have a few questions about it. Do you have a user manual for this model? Is the demonstrator identical to the ebonite version? Mine does not seem to screw locked at either end of the slide action, is this correct? (Some video reviews I've watched show twisting it to lock in the writing position, and twisting it to lock when retracted into the barrel -- or maybe I didn't understand what they were showing.)
I have done none on Bill Clinton, George Bush, Barack Obama, etc....just my preference for respecting the office when the individual is still alive. There have been labels on presidents long since passed (Woodrow Wilson, Abraham Lincoln, George Washington, etc..), however - with a single exception of two bottles that were made with Jimmy Carter on them referencing his submarine service. As far as candidates go - we were crucified for Bernie Sanders - yet everyone who now asks that it be brought back seems to be a Bernie supporter. Who would have thought?
IIRC you're supposed to use the bonded inks in the clear demonstrator safety pen.... it was chaotic in there and i think it was the brits telling me, so.... not sure.... (i did buy from Nathan though rather than those stinking redcoat lymies...)
Nathan, I came up with a great name for an ink if you ever go into the realm of more aggressively waterproof inks like Iron Gall inks or something that doesn't need to bond to cellulose to become waterproof/bulletproof: *Censorship Black.*
you're in good company; myself and some of my fellow communists were a little disturbed by the removal of term limits... but China's a bit disturbing to us for altogether different reasons, though the censorship is /certainly/ among the things troubling us lol. A pity Mao Xi is a limited run, though, it does look like a lovely shade of red.
Wow that demonstrator. I really hope one day you branch out in Europe and maybe introduce that pen as a regular. It really breaks my heart that the fountain pen industry is so much focused on pen shows and USA

You are really a legend. Thanks for all you do!

Really like the look of those demonstrator safety pens. You always have some interesting inks Nathan. Thanks for being bold.

I own and very much enjoy your Chestnut colored Safety Pen and would very much like to have your demonstrator version. I hope it becomes commercially available. Thanks!
I will readily admit jealousy over these inks released for the Boston show. I also wouldn't mind seeing a Polar Red ink some day as well.

The thought you put into the design of your products for utility and serviceability are top notch. I've just made the 5 hour drive back home and can't wait to try out my safety pen and bonded inks.
Love your inks, love your labels. Is there anywhere I can find the images of the labels online?
I’m in love - art, history and incredible inks. Thankful I’m on this spinning globe at the same time you exist.
I think this is the most impressive batch of show inks from you so far. I (and I believe a lot of individuals) would love if these inks were to become a regular.

Had a friend get me a demonstrator and a bottle of ink. Looking forward to it. Hope he also can get primaries before they run out.
MAOXI looks amazing, I'd love to see a similar looking ink mass produced someday.
First Post whaow... .... Great stuff Nathan

I'm bummed. I live in Florida and can't get to the pen show, but I would love to have a clear safety pen and some Mao Xi ink.
Wow; you continue to surprise with excellent ink and interesting labels! Thanks
I hope you can put the Sir Winston in production. I love the blue color. I can see that becoming my go to blue. Thanks.
I wish you could travel to the Colorado pen show next month instead of just being represented. I plan to check out Noodler's while attending. Would love a new bulletproof there, too.
I'd love some Maoxi and Provoke the Puritan ink! Exciting stuff!
Love seeing the videos about the Commonwealth pen shows and what is coming up also I open pen boxes with a knife jist because of this channel
Hi, Nathan. Would love a video showcasing what we might see at the 2019 San Francisco Pen Show from Noodlers. Thanks for the videos.
I have a Noodler's Creaper flex pen. I really love the way this pen writes, and the way the celluloid feels. It's the first fountain pen that seems to be really suited to my handwriting style. Always look forward to your vids and so glad Pure Pens sell your ink in the UK as your black is my go to ink!
Your videos are fantastic! As are your inks, you really do great work!
Despite what anyone would guess, “Hartlepool” is in fact pronounced as if spelled “Hartlee-pool.”
Thanks for being true. I’m enjoying a couple of your inks and have your Nikita w/pen on the way. Will be the first of your pens I’ll have. Anyway, just wanted to say “Hello” and let you know that I love your videos, inks and your ethic.
Would like to see a video about your history and or how you got your start
Wish I could go. I'll be attending the Ohio Pen Show. Love your products.
So glad to get me demonstrator Safety Pen today. Thanks for crushing it to the last minute to have they available. Did you sell more of them than the British?

I would love to have every single bottle of ink, not only for its content but also for the philosophy behind it. Unfortunately, I live in Argentina 😔
Shame I can never go to the shows. I would buy a bottle of each
I bought one of the demonstrator pens at the show, but I'm having difficulty getting it to lay down ink, and I have a few questions about it. Do you have a user manual for this model? i couldn't make it to the 2018 Commonwealth Pen Show. Are any of the Boston Safety demonstrators and show inks available to buy? Thanks, Andrew
Whatever happened to the prototype nib holders for dip pens?
Deer Mr. Tardif and community, why was the Neponset video removed? Thank you.
I never knew it was removed....it is still here: ruclips.net/video/LgegvUeeVO0/видео.html
Still waiting to see some inks referencing our current corrupt Administration. I honestly don't understand why there are none
I have done none on Bill Clinton, George Bush, Barack Obama, etc....just my preference for respecting the office when the individual is still alive. How does switching from ebonite to whatever the Boston Safety demonstrator is made of change chemical resistance and ink compatibility?
IIRC you're supposed to use the bonded inks in the clear demonstrator safety pen.... it was chaotic in there and i think it was the brits telling me, so.... not sure.... (i did buy from Nathan though rather than those stinking redcoat lymies...)
nah, they were great guys, and funny..... i'd buy them a pint at the pub... just not an irish pub...
Can I convince you to make an ebonite ahab?
Hartlepool .. pronounced strangely as "Hart-ley-pool" ..
Nathan, I came up with a great name for an ink if you ever go into the realm of more aggressively waterproof inks like Iron Gall inks or something that doesn't need to bond to cellulose to become waterproof/bulletproof: *Censorship Black.*
OMG I must get my hand on that Mao xi ink.

LOVE that carmine!!
Did you ever get my email?
See you tomorrow...
Wow that demonstrator. I really hope one day you branch out in Europe and maybe introduce that pen as a regular. It really breaks my heart that the fountain pen industry is so much focused on pen shows and USA
That yellow really look like a darker version of Sailor RikyuCha
I hope some day to see antifa blue get a wider release!
I like it,but you konw this can't bring in China :(
Hey Xi under China has done pretty well. Let’s celebrate that with a reissuing of MAOXI shall we… pleasssse haha
Surprise Surprise red Chinese ink , wonder what color a donal trump ink would be from this guy , not that political ?.
