You geeking out over the squirrel reminds me of a story my mom told me. We were in a zoo and was driving in an enclosure with giraffes, zebras and so on and i'm around 5-6 years old and i suddenly yell and point "look a common blackbird" to one that was hopping around in the enclosure. The most common bird in Denmark. It would be like pointing out a dove or chickadee. My mom still laughs about it 20 years later 😂

Dav! You have to go to Omaha and see the other half of this herd of elephants! They were saved from culling and shipped to the states- half to Dallas and half to Omaha. Plus, Omaha has 3 babies who have been born (1 likely still off-exhibit because he is so new) from this healthy pachy family!
I grew up going to the Dallas and the Fort Worth Zoos. I love them so much. They’re so much fun. The Texas State Aquarian here in Corpus Christi is a blast as well.
I work at the ft. Worth Zoo. Watching you on my break. Last week I had a squirrel that was acting like that with me. Tried to find it this week in the same area, but it's not here now. Or just not hungry. Or forgot he liked ppl... Lol... 😊

the bronx zoo is super fun. i highly recommend a visit there super cool way they've done some of the exhibits too, like the World of Birds and the Sea bird Aviary
In Wrocław (Poland) they also have somewhat similar in building African exhibit called africarium (Africa and aquariums). It's nice zoo to visit if you ever think about visiting Europe again. Maybe for Hamm show?? 😊
You all should come to the St. Louis Zoo! They have a big reptile building with more than 10,000 species of reptiles. It is a beautiful zoo....and FREE!! 🙂
I feel your disappointment. I went to the Perth zoo in Australia and was so excited to see a numbat (they aren’t at any of the other Aussie zoos I’ve been to) And they were off exhibit. Next time we went to perth zoo the exhibit was open but they were hiding- 2 hours of waiting to see them did not pay off. Sadly, I’ve still never seen a numbat 😢

I always have more fun with the animals that live at the zoo, than than the animals that are in cages... PHX Zoo has some phenomenal native lizards patrolling the grounds. Zoos make me sad overall. However, this video made me happy. TY!!
Did you see the African wild dogs? They weren't on display when we went last month. The reptile selection is nice, but Ft. Worth reptile house is better.
I visited the Dallas zoo on March 31st and we will never be coming back. Staff was very rude to my mom when she asked them where the flamingos were and asked if "she could read" in a nasty tone. Same thing with the cafeteria, very nasty to my family when we placed our orders. And the breaking point was when the zoo keeper doing an animal presentation yelled at my little brother when he tried asking a question while he was talking. Never coming back again, I'd rather visit an animal shelter or someplace that actually needs the money.
I like the miscellanious videos that this channel provides :) as for the gorilla, my guess is that he is wondering if he will be laid off as well as the corporate has currently shut down so many divisions of this company🤔
