absolutely! it does grow out at quite an acceptable pace so long as one doesn't fixate n it in front of a mirror haha. im due for my next cut i just need to find some time to do it lol

I did this today and it came out so good. For a long time I was scared to cut my mid length hair short but your instructions were clear and the results were great so I gave it a try. Thanks for posting this it was really helpful.

I usually watch these with the expectation of “let’s wreck our hair together in two steps and be done” which I’m not complaining about, that’s my go-to method when I cut my own hair😂. Or- it will be a video of a professional working on another persons hair/ a mannequin. This was different, this was so detailed and helpful!

Wow, really cute! I had an A-Line Bob at the start of pandemic and was able to manage it for a year. Got lazy and was always too impatient and just started cutting a straight line at the length which doesn't work. I need to take my time and, also, not stress about the mess. My hair looks now about the same as yours before you started cutting. Watching you cut gave me some confidence, so we'll see............ Thanks!

Wow....you are really good...I did try last week to trim (to a minimum only) my long black thick hair because I did not want to go to the salon and for the first time after the pandemic we are going to a gathering so I wanted to look nice...I had this thing with the hair salons here ...I was always not satisfied with the end result... I just wondered on this people who did not "like" your hair cutting video. Don't they know how difficult it is to do your own haircut specially at the back portion . It is a skill you know... You did a wonderful job!

I'm the same... i'm not really good at deciding what i want in a salon n then communicating it n i find that many times the results surprise me haha. This way i can just muddle along doing what i like at the spur of the moment in the comfort of my own home. OMG! I have also cut my own hair but not as short as yours. By all means, it is nowhere as good as yours either.You look like a pro, dividing it in three section & tying the back to avoid the mess is excellent. You definitely did very well on this. thanks girl! yes the back was challenging. overall took about 2 hours including anxiety pauses haha and lots of checking n doublechecking! but slow n steady wins the deal! u can try it too def it wasn't hard! just gathering up the guts to chop it so short at the beginning was challenging haha

YOURE AMAZING! I actually went into the bathroom after viewing this and did it for myself! It turned out great! Good news is you can make corrections as you go! BTW, I have very different hair texture and thickness (thin, frizzy) and it still worked. I have to use my normal defrizz products but I love it so much! Thank you soooo much for this tutorial! That's very good. There isn't any thing wrong with it at all. Last time I cut my hair I made a big hole in the back. I must be more careful next time. I just got a haircut at the hairdresser but he just gave me a blunt cut all around, so I will be trimming it a bit myself soon. Thanks for the demonstration.

My partner cuts my hair - I have a similar style to this. After a couple of awful cuts, I went back to having it done at home like this. The control is whst I like. Somehow, my hair doesn’t change as much, and feel thinner when I can control the cur.
I've done this a few times now. I find it easier to cut the whole thing with straight, dry hair then wet it in the shower and touch up anything that needs fixing after. Also an electric razor is easier for the back.
very solid tips. I'm too lazy to wet it n touch up so i try to get it all at one go when its dry. But i do usually touch up here n there while its dry, over the next few days. I'm not good enough that when i cut it when wet it looks good when dry! i find that the wetness makes estimating the end results v hard for me. USually end up cutting off more than intended
@@JeanVoronkova the same thing happens to me when I cut it wet. I cut it dry then touch up wet. Stella Cini does a great video on using a razor if you ever want to try it on your hair.

This is how I cut my hair. Just wing it. Remember it's only hair and will grow out very fast. Wish my own hair was as straight as yours. Really cute.

Wow, really cute! I had an A-Line Bob at the start of pandemic and was able to manage it for a year. Got lazy and was always too impatient and just started cutting a straight line at the length which doesn't work. I need to take my time and, also, not stress about the mess.
My hair looks now about the same as yours before you started cutting.

Wow....you are really good...I did try last week to trim (to a minimum only) my long black thick hair because I did not want to go to the salon and for the first time after the pandemic we are going to a gathering so I wanted to look nice...I had this thing with the hair salons here ...I was always not satisfied with the end result... I just wondered on this people who did not "like" your hair cutting video. Don't they know how difficult it is to do your own haircut specially at the back portion . It is a skill you know... You did a wonderful job!

I'm the same... i'm not really good at deciding what i want in a salon n then communicating it n i find that many times the results surprise me haha. This way i can just muddle along doing what i like at the spur of the moment in the comfort of my own home. OMG! I have also cut my own hair but not as short as yours. By all means, it is nowhere as good as yours either.You look like a pro, dividing it in three section & tying the back to avoid the mess is excellent. You definitely did very well on this. Seems hard to cut the back though. You looked super awesome & I will definitely like:) And yes, I am completely inspired & I will give it a try again. This upload is total inspiration & enjoyed all the way to the end.
thanks girl! yes the back was challenging. overall took about 2 hours including anxiety pauses haha and lots of checking n doublechecking! but slow n steady wins the deal! u can try it too def it wasn't hard! just gathering up the guts to chop it so short at the beginning was challenging haha

YOURE AMAZING! I actually went into the bathroom after viewing this and did it for myself! It turned out great! Good news is you can make corrections as you go! BTW, I have very different hair texture and thickness (thin, frizzy) and it still worked. I have to use my normal defrizz products but I love it so much! Thank you soooo much for this tutorial! Fan for life!

That's very good. There isn't any thing wrong with it at all. Last time I cut my hair I made a big hole in the back. I must be more careful next time. I just got a haircut at the hairdresser but he just gave me a blunt cut all around, so I will be trimming it a bit myself soon. Thanks for the demonstration.

My partner cuts my hair - I have a similar style to this. After a couple of awful cuts, I went back to having it done at home like this. The control is whst I like. Somehow, my hair doesn’t change as much, and feel thinner when I can control the cur.

I've done this a few times now. I find it easier to cut the whole thing with straight, dry hair then wet it in the shower and touch up anything that needs fixing after. Also an electric razor is easier for the back.
very solid tips. I'm too lazy to wet it n touch up so i try to get it all at one go when its dry. But i do usually touch up here n there while its dry, over the next few days. I'm not good enough that when i cut it when wet it looks good when dry! i find that the wetness makes estimating the end results v hard for me. USually end up cutting off more than intended
@@JeanVoronkova the same thing happens to me when I cut it wet. I cut it dry then touch up wet. Stella Cini does a great video on using a razor if you ever want to try it on your hair.
