me but I'm not a genshin-er (lol it sucks yall have to deal with so many predators), I just have way too much experience with stumbling upon chris niosi's work and being disappointed in him as a human being. he's great as reigen arataka and kirbopher WHY did he have to be a creep :(((
The pressure people put in Alejandro for things he is not accountable for is getting out of hand. I understand about wanting to hear his opinion on the matter, since he is so loved by the fandom, but it would be beneficial if the pressure people put on him to talk about were put on the ones who HAVE a hand on the problem. People involved in it, the ones who SHOULD be able to see the problem.
I really feel for him and his position. Especially since he's wrapped up in the gatcha community, the tribalism is really intense and unforgiving every time you mess up. It's just unhealthily parasocial. The guy is busy with both streaming and voice acting a lot, so I can understand him slipping up and not doing intensive, proper research. And for that one slip up, he basically risked his entire streaming/voice acting career.
the pressure should be directed at the hiring agency, not cyyu. this is a lot of stress for one person to handle especially since it literally isn’t his fault and he rescinds support when he finds out about stuff like this. he’s trying his best the hiring agency needs to be held responsible
Bro why are people wanting to put Cyyu on the spot? 💀 Like he is not involved, he is not associated whatso ever. if he doesn't want to be in this drama, HE DOESNT WANT TO BE. PEOPLE STOP PRESSURING HIM
Correct me if I’m wrong, but I’m pretty sure CyYu (Alejandro) has actually said something about this situation on his twitch! He does not support Chris Niosi. Dunno why so many people haven’t heard of him saying this, as the clip was posted on the HSR subreddit and everything.
@@IonlyeatchipzeverydayHE WAS FRIENDS WITH NIOSI FOR YEEEEARS. HE WAS LITERALLY CASTED AS THE VOICE OF THE MC IN NIOSI'S VIDEO GAME AND CONTINUED TO COLLABORATE WITH HIM EVEN AFTER THE ALLEGATIONS CAME OUT! HE'S NOT JUST A RANDOM BYSTANDER, SAAB AND VOICE ACTORS LIKE HIM HAVE WAY MORE TO DO WITH LAUNDERING NIOSI'S REPUTATION THAN ANYONE ELSE
I remember when he did the VA for shallot in DB Legends, i was so happy for bro 😂 now i literally don’t remember anything since i haven’t been using the internet as much as i used to.
I feel so bad for Cyyu. He didn’t deserve to find out his friend was a liar and a terrible person. Him breaking down over this and getting pressured by the community is honestly so sad, and I hope he can get out of this and still be positive.
It sucks that this happened before only to repeat it again. It must be taking a toll on his mental health. It just sucks for him since he probably did genuine think Chris changed but then after being informed he probably realized he got played and the nice side he’s been seeing or the “change” was a facade. The fact he probably was close to him and just to find out this and constantly being pressured it’s no wonder he’s in tears.
Fr though... cyyu have been my favorite VA and Streamer for so long and me hearing this hurts me, it hurts me when cyyu is upset and me hearing that he had break down in stream hurts more... 💔
The amount of pressure he is put into in all of those situations would let anyone to break down. Its like trying to repair something someone else broke over and over again
@@bubbeztree5066 im pretty sure the former Tighnari VA used him (or his tweets and collabs being a bro with him) to convince his fan to do creepy things
This is not Hoyo's problem. It is the EN VA agency that stuff up everything. Please note the EN VAs are not working exclusively for Hoyo, they also worked on EN anime and other games dubs. I don't know how EN VA agency does the vetting and hiring of their talents.
@@numu2483 Me too. They have been mistreated and some are underpaid. With the AAA game companies now trying to use their voice samples to generate AI vo, that is just cruel.
@@centurywarlord I'm not sure but it came to me as bewildering. The same topic being discussed in another video, the comment section is full of apathy. Saying that Hoyo doesn't care and they are simply gonna replace or less possibly just shut down the eng dub. I'm not quite sure myself where the problem is by the attitude of such people.
An interesting fact: Chris was the old VA of Byleth from Fire Emblem, after Nintendo found out of his crimes they replaced him with the VA of Aether Zack Aguilar
Nintendo claims it's because he broke NDA and showed off his casting in Discord before he was allowed LOL but yeah I think the scandal didn't help either...
What’s crazy is the Fire Emblem Heroes gacha had released Male Byleth right at release as a gift if you got the game with it They had to update those lines too. Sure it wasn’t as much as the actual 3H game, but man they were working like sonic
I would like to say: personally, please do not hate on the game devs themselves. Go to the casting agency who manages all of this stuff. They're the ones that should be doing background checks on these vas.
Yes it's the agency's fault, but hoyo still contracted them. Give hoyo time (at least 2 weeks) to step in and demand Moze's va be changed. Hoyo has a lot of layers of authority, a lot of communication needs to happen. But after 2 weeks, if there's not AT LEAST statement, hoyo is complicit.
I doubt chinese game devs knows what's going on in their english department as they speak chinese and must use translators and its not convinient, I'm not sure if a big company such as Hoyoverse keeps track of every little thing, like English is not the only thing they have to dub so I'm sure its logical to assume they use casting agencies and cannot keep track of everything themselves when you know they have to develop a game as they are game devs, while working with sound, animation, story, etc departments in order to make a game and continue to update it as its a live service game. I didn't knew that they had things like casting agencies so your comment made me think about this stuff so thanks
I feel bad for Cyyu/Alejandro cuz the pressure of him being the spokesperson of the Vas, I understand that his opinion on these matters is really important to the community and he just wants to do the good thing as a human being. I hope he'll stay strong cuz it's been storms and thunder in the genshin community for the past several weeks.
About Alejandro Saab deleting that tweet and claiming it was so no one "could use it," my memory might be off but I believe that Elliot Gindi (the former VA for Tighnari in Genshin Impact) had used their previous collaborations in an attempt to groom and manipulate his own fans before everything about Elliot came to light. So my take would be he deleted it less so it could be used in videos like this and more so there wasn't a chance Chris Niosi could point at it and say "See! Alejandro Saab still supports me!" But then again, not really sure if this kind of speculation on my end does much of anything, you know?
That makes sense to me, especially since (from my point of view) Chris had already started clinging to Alejandro and was replying and commenting to everything of his on Twitter.
dw sunday va already more than stepped up to the bat for this moron. meanwhile the god damn va for argenti (who hopefully hasnt done some shit) isnt getting paid
@@smokintherainbow I agree. Saab was furious Gindi had used him to get to fans, compounded by the fact that Saab had been in the hospital when that incident dropped and was not able to address the incident quickly enough to the community's liking (dude had kidney stones bad enough to put him in the hospital FFS). Best to get in from of this situation and shut it down asap.
Exactly, people already tried to accuse him of aiding Elliot Gindi when he actively denounced the man, he doesn't want it to happen again, and I find that fair
Reminder to everyone here that you and everyone else are completely okay to like Moze. The character is not their voice actor, lets not have this become another Tighnari situation where people were being awful to those who liked him.
@yueyueqinn yep, I downloaded TikTok during the who Tighnari situation while being oblivious to it, I found out there bc people were sending threats to people who liked Tighnari and called them "kiddo didler" for liking his character, instantly deleted TikTok afterwards, but I assume the same thing is probably happening rn with Moze instead
I learned this a long time ago after Greg Ellis, the VA of Cullen Rutherford, went of the deepend way too late past Dragon Age Inquisition’s release to be patched out and replaced the way Chris Niosi was from Fire Emblem. Like, years after. Apparently he was always awful but because of various, frankly sad circumstances, he got worse. That situation is a lot different from this one in a lot of ways, but the lesson I took away remains applicable. A character can be a net positive experience for many fans, or for the fiction of the game in general even if the Voice actor is a less than awesome person, or in Ellis’s case, clinically insane and in need of forced intervention.
Oh ye playing tighnari when that shtbag got exposed was a pain everyone was just taking a piss on me for playing him and just didn't play him anymore just for random coop runs wont be cancer
Good news. HE STEPS DOWN for good. Good riddance tbh... his note said "my actions havent been criminal" is just insane when he out here abusing people and attempted to r word his ex. Crazy how others still defended him when he did 10 years of abuse
threatening suicide when you are being confronted with your wrongs is, without fail and without exception, emotionally and psychologically abusive. whether you're doing it to a loved one or a coworker or a friend, it is always, ALWAYS an abuse tactic.
And its effectiveness depends on your reaction to that. Always react with a firm and clear answer of “I don’t wish for you to do that upon yourself, but if you do, do not make it my problem. This is a problem between you and yourself, solve it without me”
one simple point most people forget about manipulations....it's always to change the "result". If something is said / done by someone that WILL change the result that benefit them, no matter how "small", it is manipulation, no "but". Yes even saying sob story, telling they will commit S, etc, are manipulation to "benefit" them, at the very least to gain sympathy.
The fact that Puatu was clowning on Genshin Impact VAs some time ago then proceeded to be a VA for another Hoyo game just speaks volumes about his personality tbh
@@user-yt5sc8pm6dthey’re archived because he deleted them but the big one was when he tweeted something along the lines of “i cant believe someone would take advantage of their fans! anyways buy my overpriced fanart print i guess” ….. to snark on VAs that were selling prints of their characters. it would be so funny if they used zach aguilar to be the new voice of moze the same way they did with byleth. can’t understand how anybody could ever defend him considering what he did
I've seen such victim blamey takes when I said that "agreeing with Twitter on a legitimate issue doesn't equate you to the extremist 13 year olds who take offence too easily" Literally got given one take like "If the police is fine with it than I am fine with it" based off the fact that they do not like "chaos and drama" Like mate what is your problem??? The cause of "drama" here is not the victim, but the borderline maliciously shitty background checking, and the dude's very own actions, why is that do hard to comprehend?
@@paperluigi6132just like Alejandro (or cyno’s va) he has multiple rolls in different games so it’s not impossible for Hoyo to cast him for another character-since he hardly has any or no lines at all in genshin but who knows
The Sunday VA is playing with fire. I wonder if he talked to his agency or Hoyo before posting that. Sunday is a hugely anticipated character who still hasn’t been released in Star Rail, and will likely be one of their most profitable male characters yet. The VA jumping into someone else’s controversy and impacting his character’s image just seems like a stupid decision.
I firmly believe that when it comes to your work you should stay neutral with these sorts of situations. If you want to support someone you believe is innocent do it away from social media.
It's not stupid. The fact that he's saying something is what people need to do more. So many people go around saying stuff like this that oh well there getting themselves in trouble or they're going to lose their job because they're sticking their nose where it shouldn't belong. No that's stupid. The fact that this person is saying something about it and the fact that Sunday hasn't even been released yet? This is going to mean a lot more for them let me explain something here. Why would Sunday's voice actor get canceled just because they're standing up for what they believe in? They're not going to get canceled because I guarantee you even if they lost their job everybody's going to be rallying behind them because guess what they stood up and said something while everybody else was saying oh you should have been quiet. It don't matter you fight for what you believe in these days because if you don't then you lose everything.
I was planning to skip all banners and pull for Sunday but now I'm not even sure if I'll pull for him. It's better to just boycott the whole game in my opinion.
@justsomeone33 this idea is so stupid lmao . Why do people westerners think that mihoyo cares about their free primogems or play time when they have way more millions of chinese players who have no clue or care about this. A third party agency are the ones that hired the English VAs for hoyo games. Typically, Hoyo is not aware of any controversy with their over sea VAs. Not until someone brings it to their attention.

A redditor's response to Griffin's post I think summed it up perfectly: "... a self admitted 10+ years abuser should face serious consequences that include the loss of a public facing job that garners a ton of adoration with a massive fanbase. I'm not saying he has to be poor forever or that he can never work anywhere again. But being a voice actor is not a necessity to living a decent life."
@@grafzeppelin4069 No one is saying that. The law is a different matter entirely, but the point here is that voice acting, especially for a fandom this large, comes with a LOT of public relations. Chris admitted to what he did. Does a few years of "redemption" for ten years of abuse justify him having such a big, public opportunity, where he'll have the grounds to interact with fans and possibly repeat his mistakes? How would players feel hearing his voice, knowing what he admitted to? Does he even deserve to be back in the industry, with such a big break as this? A criminal accusation isn't necessary to judge someone's actions.
Someone may correct me if I am wrong but I'm quite sure that Hoyoverse themselves are not responsible for the English cast themselves and don't hire eng Va's directly. They instead sign contracts with voice acting agencies who then hire the VA in question. I remember this from the drama about certain voice actors like Paimon's eng Va not getting payed for months and Hoyo came out and responded that it's the recording studio, being the middle link between, that is responsible for the payment. Also considering that Chris got replaced by Aether's Va when he was formely cast as the main character Byleth from Fire Emblem Three Houses, it would be quite quite ironic if he got replaced again by Zach for Moze's role. Moze and Byleth give of similar vibe so it could work out.
yes this is true, also JP and CN have also had issues with a voice actor or two over the years and had to recast, but people are not bringing this up, the focus is only on the EN side. And people are also attacking people who are involved with casting and directing other hoyo games when it is not even the same people as star rail. I do understand going to Hoyo about this issue because if they find out they will have a lot of influence to get the VAs recast even if they don't do the casting directly. Editing this because I got blasted in another comment section about mentioning an issue with a JP VA they were very rude. I should have been more specific since it is not as commonly known and I should know by now the JP white knights out there I am talking about Honkai impact 3rd Su's VA.
@@Candytime9 True, i remember the VA`s in question being Oz old CN VA and Kaveh`s CN Va to name a few. I think the reason why people don`t bring this up is simply the lack of infomation cause of the language barrier and simply not knowing all of the details of the crime/s the Va have commited, CN Va’s and JPN Va’s being more private and not write on social media all of the details like Eng Va’s tend to do and just suffice with admitting and apology. The situation is also slightly different, in that most of the CN va’s commit a crime AFTER getting hired than before getting contracted. The best thing Hoyo can do now is just to demand the studio to recast Moze since it’s their game and they are the ones hiring the studio.
@@deathangel176 it is a little different but at the same time but when you dig deep for both Kaveh and OZ VAs (which Chinese netizens went crazy on the research) there was proof even before Genshin's release at least for one of them, I don't want to say which because I honestly forget but there was a whole document about it at one point, but it was translated into English so as for accuracy hard to say. But with Tighnari VA for example in English, he was pretty much an unknown before Genshin so even if there was issues it was not like they were easy to find it wasn't until he got success that more and more people started coming out. Though backround checks should be more thorough.
Nah they do some really good male chars (especially HSR imo) And they doesn't choose the VAs directly, the studio they have for dubbing does but still bad choice from them
Oh and its VERY ironic (poetic) how Robins VA disagrees with Sundays VA just like ingame. How Sundays VA thought he was doing the right thing (like Sunday himself) but in reality he was just making things much worse, and how Robins VA disagreed with him just like Robin ingame.
Calling him just a "bad boyfriend" is crazy! A bad boyfriend forgets your anniversary, doesn't do dishes or games 24/7 without acknowledging their partner. What Chris did was abusive, call it what it is.
it was also sa too. people are downplaying this bc chris downplays it. "i would never take advantage." you already did. you apologized for it but never called it what it was. he kept grabbing someone after work when it was established they didn't want that. that's SA, that's taking advantage of someone. even in his second apology, he doesn't acknowledge this, and people are so ready to defend VAs that they refuse to notice this.
Abusive and other forms of abuse is already a strong accusation. Still Chris niosis needs even 10 years off or just retire already. He’s in his 30”s yet still acting like a child, brat, spoiled man who can’t get out of a nest. A better call is for him to retire and actually live in life were harsh consequences for him to learn.
Played this on family TV and we watched like a sunday night drama😹 my family isn't familiar with any of these things but they enjoyed watching it anyway... specially in Amy's reply...grandma was like "go get em girl" 😭 it got her so hooked
I think English VAs just aren't used to this "treat VAs like celebrities" weeb culture and are shooting themselves in the foot by not knowing what to do with their newly found small fame. Eastern VAs are more aware of having to keep a public appearance since idol culture is big in SEA. Even when something does come up, they at least know to not make the situation worse, and it often ends up dying down on it's own.
Eastern VAs are actual professionals meanwhile Western VAs are literally amateur voice actors. You can probs get the same performance off Fiver or something.
Y'all should consider these voice actors scandals as examples of why you don't give too much of a platform or respect to people, ESPECIALLY in a niche. The amount of miserable and immoral or horrible people I met and heard about during a short time as a content creator convinced me of that. Do not idolize. Do not assume since people do their job well, or are funny or nice, or ANYTHING, they are automatically good/innocent until you PERSONALLY KNOW THEM FOR A WHILE IN REALITY.
That's fair. I respect both professionalism and genuine artistic expression even when I really dislike the person, but it's always worth remembering that's there.
And I feel like some of the creepiest people become content creators. Maybe because it’s harder to see the real them when you only interact with them online
The fact that the sunday en va did it on the OFFICIAL reddit truly baffled me. If you wanna make a statement, do it on your own platform… esp regarding SOMEONE (NOT even yours gdi) ELSE’S PRIVATE LIFE. remember you are the ENGLISH voice for a character. There are 3 other voices that is representative to breathe a life onto the them, youre not the only one. Its not like it was specifically CREATED for you… i dont play hsr but holy shit how entitled some of these people are truly baffled me.. so unprofessional coming from a so called professional

He definitely tried to downplay things and some of the stuff he said made things worse. One thing that annoyed me is how he called the victims unreasonable and how he says Chris change just cause he kept getting work….while Chris is friends with a lot of va who can easily put a good word in for him and is known with the industry
Vic Mignona is still blacklisted to this day but Chris Niosi was welcomed back into the dubbing industry by friends, peers and a company. Make it make sense. I do believe people can change. I don’t know if this Chris has, as I don’t know him personally, though if the Sunday VA wants to defend his friend and say he’s changed, he is more than welcome to. However…Niosi deleting all of the apologies does not reflect well on him at all.
That's the power of the friends and the enemies you have. Vic happened to have very strong enemies that are keeping him barred from everything to this day. I have checked and most of those VAs are pretty much very relevant in the EN voice acting scene, they are reigning supreme.

To play a devil's advocate a little: ASPD is a spectrum, not a single disorder. And people who are not *too* far down the scale can be helped with proper therapy. Dude still behaves in a very anti-social way and he can't help it much -- that's why even as he apologises he's still being a piece of shit, but it seems like he sees where this path will lead him and is ready to seek help. I for one am willing to give him benefit of the doubt. And also take him up on his word: he said he's willing to accept how his career will be ruined by this, so... yeah -- let it burn. I sincerely hope he gets the help he needs, but that doesn't mean he's in any way excused from taking full responsibility. In fact, I kind of respect that he outright says that apologising doesn't mean he's owed forgiveness. Mind you: I repect the notion, not the person saying it. This is the company that hired DC Douglas (RE5 Wesker - the worst Wesker and the old butler dude in Fire Emblem Fates) to be the VA of Svarog who interacts frequently with Clara, an underage character... This is the dude who would harass female fans at conventions, demanding to know if they're 18 yet or not TO THE POINT HE GOT BANNED FROM MOST CONVENTIONS. His response? Doxxing his detractors on his personal website as a way to "disprove" the allegations. I love Hoyo's games but their casting choices are sometimes super trash. It's also funny how you'll notice none of the Hoyo VAs interact with Douglas. There's a reason for that. Edit: Forgot to add he broke NDA and leaked RE4 remake Wesker art to get in a fan's pants and got fired from Capcom for it
@Rennnix He wasn't just asking you moron. He kept pressing and pressing and pressing while being way too handsy. Maybe use that smooth brain of yours for once and think about WHY pressuring a girl to tell her age from a dude his age is freaking weird and inappropriate behavior towards an (at the time) fan. Also in what world is a famous voice actor clear to even try to get with fans? No normal person does that.
It's wild to me he said what he did about the birthday situation. Saying he would never do something like that but at the same time admitted to being a sex pest when she'd come home from work. Mind you, even ignoring her expressions of not wanting it.
23:53 This is such a crazy thing to say because he already did. He literally would touch her after her explicit wishes not to be touched after work. That is the definition of taking advantage of someone. God, people truly do not get how sa works if they can think stuff like this. "Two sides of the same story" More like a guy who has no clue what SA even means, and a woman who got SA'd. tale as old as time.
I'm not hating, I totally agree that there is two sides to every story. I just want to say that there's a reason Chris's side of the story is considered BS. so many crimes occur simply because the perpetrator doesn't believe it's a big deal. like when bosses commit wage fraud and then act like they hadn't realized it was "such a big deal" and "created a hostile workplace environment." no, you knew. most people know that pressuring your employees to work for free is bad lol, it just didn't seem to you like a big deal bc you weren't acting like a cartoon villain. it was 'oh would you be a dear and work overtime' and then continually forgetting to pay overtime pay, not 'i'll fire you if you don't work this shift.' chris thinks that because it was 'oh i'll just show her some love after work' and not 'i'll leave you if you don't let me touch you,' that what he did was not taking advantage of her. this is why boundaries matter. because it's easy to soften your own crimes in your head, but if there's a boundary (or wage laws lol) in place, you know that no matter what you think, you can't cross it. if you intentionally disrespect boundaries like how he did with his girlfriend, forgetting about the rules about drunk stuff or forgetting about her wishes to be left alone after work (or bosses forgetting about wage fraud laws), then you leave yourself open to justifying anything heinous.
I feel like people like Chris, when they do stuff like this, are subconsciously aware what they're doing is wrong, but they justify/rationalize/delude themselves into doing it anyway. It's like a denial of the reality of their actions and the effect they have. Because of their own failure to check themselves, they hurt other people.
@@BradleytheDavis exactly. "That didn't happen. And if it did, it wasn't that bad. And if it was, that's not a big deal. And if it is, that's not my fault. And if it was, I didn't mean it. And if I did, you deserved it." Chris's denial of the fact that he SA'd his partner and took advantage of her in his apologies is clearly a "And if it did, it wasn't that bad" type of justification in his head. unless you've lived isolated from all of society your whole life, you should understand that when someone tells you about their hard boundary, tells you to stop, you should stop. with people like Chris, someone who has a slew of victims and a history of ignoring the wishes of their partner, even after countless times of being told to stop, the behavior goes from a plausible mistake to a deliberate decision to repeatedly disrespect and minimize the people around him. these types of mental gymnastics are not hard to do, in fact, it's often more convenient to do so. That's why personal honesty/integrity is so important--not just for the people around you, but also you yourself. Lest you find yourself alone because you've hurt every person close to you. It's much harder to take your partner's concerns seriously, especially if it's over issues that you personally don't experience. the ME TOO movement is a great example of this, where guys had that "it wasn't that bad->you deserved it" mentality about the heinous acts they were committing, even when the women were telling them that they were crossing their boundaries. Even though it's not hard to understand that women have boundaries when it comes to getting touched, our society didn't really care about these issues at the time, so these acts were brushed off as not a big deal by a lot of people. That's why it's really important to not cross boundaries. Because while it may not seem like a huge deal to you, it can be a huge deal later, or it could be really impactful in ways that you might not personally understand. This last part is especially a big issue in the cycle of abuse. A lot of abused kids learn that abusive behaviors are not a big deal because their parents always said that to them. This leads to them repeating these behaviors in their own life. To break the cycle, you have to be able to accept that someone being 'sensitive' or a 'snowflake' about something is VALID, and that you should respect their wishes anyways, even if it doesn't seem like a big deal to you. That sometimes, it really is a 'big deal,' even if your experience says otherwise. It gets complicated when abusers use that rhetoric against you to paint you as the bad guy, so it helps to understand WHY it might be a big deal to someone, or to leave if you can't handle that boundary, but the overall concern is to AT LEAST listen to others and their boundaries instead of ignoring them
The thing that really gets me with the people that were supporting Chris in that latter part of the video is that I kept seeing them only acknowledge how Chris had been a "bad boyfriend". Idk how it went under all those other VAs' radars, but Chris hurt more than just his ex-girlfriends. He hurt COWORKERS. FANS. EMPLOYEES. Like????? If you're going to stick your neck out for a VA that's the equivalent of a possible cancer to anyone's career that goes near it, you'd better get ALL the facts before speaking.
they don't have enough braincells to actually do their research and just want to make public statements while not knowing the full truth or perhaps they are as bad as he is.
Especially since one of the victims (who have provided proof btw) came on to that he still hasn't changed Like my dude you don't get to decide you're redeemed, you're victims do
@@aure0521 To be fair. The proof that he has not changed afaik was that he did not properly apologize to all of his victims which does not really constitute "he has not changed" statement. If there was any proof outside of that then I apologize, I am not aware of anything else.
@@medicalgoose2126 Even if you have actually changed, the people you have wronged wont necessary forgive you or get over what you did to them. And you are never too old to realize you did something wrong. "You are 30 years old!" like dude chill.
What really disturbs me is how he repeatedly says “I never intended” or “I’m sorry you feel that way”, it almost sounds like he’s saying “Oh, you’re just doing that to yourself”, clearly diffusing responsibility over his actions. Christ… 🤦♀️

Thank you so much for speaking in this!!! As someone who has faced sexual abuse but still have my abuser live freely with no reprucusion, it means so much when people try to help other victims raise their voice 🙏🏻🙏🏻
I just want to say Mujin, thanks for condensing these otherwise rather difficult to follow situations in long-form video essays. I know the research and whatnot involved cannot be easy, but it always makes for some nice background stuff while I do my routines on Wuwa and the like.
1) His apologies are exactly what the stereotypical abusive boyfriend says every time he's about to get dumped, except those only work while they are in a relationship with someone who has been gaslighted and worn down and feels compelled to love them, in a private emotional moment, and he's trying it in public through TEXT to people who have already dumped him. Beyond pathetic. 2) If your partner says your actions feel rapey it doesn't matter what your intentions are. How is this any different from "she enjoyed it so I did nothing wrong?", literally saying his emotions and Unknowable Pure Mind is more important than her.
Reminds me of GachaSmack drama with his ex editor where he's so desperate to work with him but it's already too late, the ex editor has done wrong things to him and felt cornered.
He really said "I'm sorry babe it won't happen again I promise, insert excuse as to why they did it." fast forward to the next day when it happens again.
@@thatonewitchHe has always been apologetic for his actions, he regrets his emotional harm in every statement he makes, but he takes offense at being called a criminal when he never committed a crime, not even close. Twitter has been accusing him of PA and SA, things he literally never did. In the last 5 years he hasn't shown a hint of emotionally abusive behavior. But of course, Twitter wants to lie about him and doxx him literally till the day he dies. Not even slightly surprised, all deep twitter subculture participants have committed far more emotional harm and doxxing to non-criminals and even many innocent people then Chris could ever commit.
This is classic nepotism at work, these VA agencies have to be held accountable. I've been to a lot of Anime cons and attended alot of VA panels and it's almost always the same scenario. Fellow VA Director, VA vouched for me, so I got the part didnt even have to auditioned knows nothing about the source material etc.
Apparently he hasn't officially broken any laws, he may be a terrible person but a criminal apparently not, which definitely speaks volumes on how these laws should be updated bc how could what he has done not be considered illegal
Bro abused various people for a DECADE and only goes like "Ohh I'm so sorry I will do better!" once his career is in danger, yeah nah, he don't deserve mercy, he should train to flip burgers or some shit, being a VA is not a right for him anymore.
One thing I didn't notice in the video was that some of the victims have also very recently tweeted about it and that after Niosi had admitted to his wrongdoings in 2019/2020, someone also recounted their terrible experience with him in 2021. Which sounds like he hasn't stopped being a terrible person despite his claims, in my humble opinion. I would like to say that many of his actions are crimes, very much so, and just because the victims could not get him to court to be charged does not make them any less terrible. Legal fees are expensive, and it can be harrowing to have to recount your experiences without the guarantee that the perpetrator would be jailed. Especially when it could be downright dangerous to the victims. As of July 24th, 2024, Chris Niosi has decided to step down from being the VA for Moze.
@truekampang6709 Well, there's a whole lot, and I'm not really sure how RUclips's comment censors work regarding sensitive topics. But I can talk about the second part, I believe it was Little Kuriboh who posted about it. LK recounts how Niosi screamed and cried at him for an hour over the phone regarding Amy's (the ex-girlfriend) abuse post. They are no longer friends/acquaintances. In 2021, LK reached out to Niosi regarding a project that he did not want to participate in due to him being uncomfortable with working with Niosi and someone named Shady, who I've found out is similarly an abuser of sorts. According to emails from Niosi, he knew full well what Shady was doing and did not care/partially enabled it. This apparently has been a reoccurring issue since he was also old friends with Psyguy, who I've found is quite the character in a negative sense. His behavior of actively choosing to stick around people that he knows are abusers (and worse) even after being called out for similar behaviors in 2019/2020 is quite concerning.
Regarding the first part, I've fallen down quite a rabbit hole, and it is much more massive than I believe this is making it out to be. I'm not sure what words cause RUclips to censor a comment, so I don't know how to tread. (It is still a good video, though I think it may be a bit too early to have created.) According to some of his victims, who tweeted regarding him in July of 2024, he neither admitted to most of the terrible things he did, and he continued to abuse someone after he was caught. (Though his apologies were deleted, I did find them again, and compared to the things that were levied against him, his was heavily sanitized.) I could try to compile some of the things he left out in his apologies if you'd like, though I suppose it could be triggering for some folks.
This was the response I was looking for. I was like, "so has he changed or not...?". If he hasn't changed, then holy crap man, wtf is he doing. He had 5+ years to fix his shit. Like bruh.
@Esilyn According to his victims, they say he has not changed, with two of them saying that he has abused someone else after he was caught. Whether or not this is true is not yet known since that person hasn't exactly spoken up (from what I know.) However, based on his behavior, I wouldn't be surprised if he hasn't. Considering his abuse of others that has apparently been going on for approximately 15 years before he was caught.
Chris "I unintentionally manipulated you" Niosi No but fr there's enough talented people out there, get this guy out. He's clearly not fit to be a public figure and he cannot safely gain the huge platform that a Hoyoverse role offers in my opinion.
Never trust a person who says "i unintentionally manipulated you", ever. You know why? Cause the fact that he can manipulate unintantionally means that manipulation is his second nature, embeded into his wellbeing.
@@m.wafiraihan1364 literally, it's such a wild sentence too in context w all the 'I knew what I was doing' stuff. Did you know or did you not know, freak, which one is it.

@@reino2085yeah. Some of them realise what they were doing, but as someone who's done some kinda bad things (not manipulative, but some things like not being able to read the room and being somewhat of a nuisance) and only realised what those were after an explanation sometimes, or after reflecting on them, and apologised and learned, I can definitely agree that not all manipulative people or other kinds of wrongdoers always fully realise what they're doing. A lot of them do, but some don't. But the important thing is that they learn and learn to change after they've realised it.
honestly the entire point of apologizing is that you’re gonna be a better person even if nobody forgives you. apologizing and being a better person isn’t a price for being forgiven, it’s the price you pay for doing it in the fucking first place
How the hell did the voice agency didn't check this guy? A company always checks the crimminal record of their employees before hiring them. But the thing that baffles me more is the fact that he was able to keep his job as a voice actor after the scandal without any repercussion and not only that but other voice actors defended him. At least Alejandro Saab admitted he was wrong and he didn't know about the Niosi tumblr post. EDIT: Niosi has officially stepped down from voicing Moze, Hoyo has the opportunity to do the funniest thing ever and make Zack Aguillar replace him again LMAO.
unfortunately just checking criminal records isn’t enough a lot of the time. in this case like others as well there are no official criminal charges surrounding the big scandals even tho there should be
Maybe his Ex girlfriend & other people abused by him should file a Police report and give the Police all of the Evidence for them to Investigate and see if they can obtain enough Evidence for a Arrest warrant to be issued and then go through the process to find Chris then arrest him. Then once the whole Arrest/Justice process is over, bam he has a fresh Criminal record.
Cyyu/Alejandro never seem to catch a break and it's actually really worrying me. He always end up being drawn into the drama for no reasons. As a simple viewer, when i heard him broke down crying i couldn't handle it myself and also ended up crying. At some point my mother found me and ask me in french "why i was crying for some anime boy" (she doesn't know the concept of vtuber) i told her about how it's real people behind the screen and how disgusted i felt about some of people idiotic and illegal actions. Sorry for the long comment i know it's not really good to comment that kind of thing on a youtube video but i felt like i needed to talk about it.
people immediately turning to alejandro and pressuring him to talk about stuff is out of hand. people need to let the guy breathe, this isn’t his fault and he takes back support when he finds out about these kinds of situations he’s not the one responsible for hiring his coworkers
it was so painful to watch that in real time, i was on the verge of tears too. i hate it how people just dogpile and go harass Cy or whatever other prominent person, just because they have a presence. like what do you think you can do except harm him as well. especially when it's over a tweet from four years ago, are you even real.
People defendning Chris claiming that he should be able to work again kind of annoy me. Mostly because yes of course people could change however when you use your position of power to abuse and exploit others you are not entitled to it back just because you say you have changed. You don't get to return to your same job, you can find another line a work at that point. A banker stealing money from a bank probably doesn't get to work at another bank. Its a natural consequence. Especially in an industry where reputation really matters.
EXACTLY???? like IDC if hes changed or not why would he go back to voice acting when hes used his position as a voice actor to take advantage of people in the past???
Doctors don’t get to stay doctors after abusing a patient. Prison guards don’t get to stay prison guards if they abuse an inmate. Why would voice actors get to stay in the industry if they abuse their colleagues?
I only managed to listen a bit of how his ex girlfriend had issues. Thats 99% of all grils today. Then he have anger issues... ok. did he actually do some crime or whatever?
I believe that people can change and be better but in an industry where reputation matters so heavily, this casting was a mistake and hopefully he gets replaced.
Adin Rudd (Sam's voice actor) also deleted his twitter account, just like Kyle, however his situation was a lot lighter as all he did was congratulated Chris on his role. Unfortunately, many twitter users also sent threats to him and wanted him fired just like Griffin and Chris which led Adin to make an apology on his RUclips channel about the situation. EDIT: I forgot to mention Adin did also block people who tried to call him out which also led to him deleting his account and his apology
It's unfortunate, but probably for the best for him. If I remember correctly, Adin was basically in a similar situation with Alejandro/CyYu where he didn't have much info about Chris' past and simply supported him to become a better person, but didn't handle it as well as Alejandro did due to being overwhelmed by Twitter. Hopefully he starts distancing himself from problematic people like Chris tho and start researching a bit into it.
I think it was more because he was friends with Chris for 10 whole years but claimed not to know about his past, and spoke up on the issue without looking into it properly
Poor adin. Cancel culture sometimes needs to chill out. Adin did not know about his past yet getting hate and threats by him not knowing who is Chris niosis has done. What’s unfortunate about this is a lot of people would support something without knowing their agenda. I feel bad for any VA’s who supported him with a blind eye. Still the agency still take the blame by hiring problematic VA’s.

If I want one thing from former bullies who bullied me during my early childhood, it is not apologies but just for them to be a better person and have a better life. I don't want them to contact me; that will only stirr up drama and remind me of their actions again. Trying to apologize to your former victims will only make sure you and the victim both can't start with a blank slate.
I was w watching this with my boyfriend and I kept bringing this. up! I don't. believe making amends helps the victim most times, just eases the guilty conscience of the abuser
We definitely need to spread this fact more, not only so people wouldn't accuse Hoyo for hiring VAs who are terrible people, but to also make Hoyo look into another agency, it seems like their current agency doesn't bother looking into backgrounds or aren't bothered by accusations and such, and are making a lot of mistakes
Puatu's response was so unnecessary. When news broke out about the choice to cast Niosi in HSR, the community raised an eyebrow at the decision and expressed their continued distrust and even outright hatred for the man for what he had done, that is how I recall it at least. And that is perfectly fine, what he did isn't something you can just forget, let alone forgive, it's fine if the community, his relatives or acquaintances want to continue hating him. But I also believe that people can look at their past actions, see the horror that they brought for what it is and make an effort to be better. It won't fix every relationship they used to have, but it doesn't have to I don't think. And the story could have just ended there, assuming that was where the reaction ended. Thing is, if he has changed or is putting the work to do so (as Puatu implies), I'd rather see him prove it through his own actions (or inactions) than for one his buddies to speak on his behalf, pulling a "trust me bro" statement, minimizing the damage Niosi inflicted on his victims by highlighting how much it harmed his livelihood, throwing himself under the bus in the process. Not to mention stoking the flames of the issue, bringing it to even more people's attention. Which to me indicates that either Puatu is stupid enough to not consult anyone before posting his stance (surely no manager in their right mind would approve that), or he's disgustingly tone deaf or an abuse apologist or all of the above. Something seems twisted here when the person handling the situation better is Niosi by just not doing or saying anything on the matter.
Takahiro Sakurai had a 10+ Affair with a few women. Though he still getting roles like Cloud from FF7, Geto from JJK, and recently reprising Crow for Kai no Kiseki.
People saying things such as "What is he supposed to do? Not work?" or "Is he not allowed to have a job?". He is allowed to get whatever fucking job he wants, if it so happens he wants to pursue working as a VA then he is bound to face this type of thing as a sort of public figure having done what he has. Now, if he doesn't want to face this, he can get another job. "But he should get to work with what he loves". Fuck that, his victims' lives will never be the same, why the hell should his carreer not suffer consequences?
since mob psycho i have been waiting for his downfall, the fact that crunchyroll (or whoever did the eng dub) was unwilling to work with unions and forced the previous mob voice actor to drop out after 2 seasons in! but allowed a serial abuser to continue working made me go insane. i thought i was one of the few people that knew of this guy at all and his actions and sorta had to keep going to his wikipedia to make sure i wasn't making things up because i remember this happening, but no one really cared or knew. so glad he is getting some kinda backlash because at least to me it seemed he didn't get any before.
How much of a sh*tty human being do you have to be literally wait on someone’s downfall who didn’t even personally do anything to you? This generation is truly is misguided by the most atrocious thoughts……
I noticed a change in Mob's voice during season 3 (no hate towards the new va) and never paid it to mind until I became curious throughout watching the whole season and checked the cast list for the English dub only to find out my suspicions were true. But I'm not surprised that the team unfairly fired Kyle but kept Chris in since it's (unfortunately...) VERY common in the talent industry to keep abusers around.

Martin (LittleKuriboh) was also one of his former friends but cut ties due to Niosi's abusive behavior towards him. He stated that he is still uncomfortable with him when Niosi tried to reach out to him for a VA project and he rejected it. The moment his su1c1de attempts were highlighted in almost the VERY BEGINNING of the apology, I already sense the BS. Just like with Ratsu and the a$$hole Tectone, if you're really that deep in emotional distress that you've "attempted", you wouldn't really go about declaring it to the public. I've had friends and acquaintances who are clinically depressed, some of them we had no idea because they hid it well, and the next thing we know about them is that they're in a casket. That's the thing with depression. You wouldn't really know until those people are already gone. It's very obvious with these celebrities. The moment they're caught with their pants down, all of a sudden they bring up some traumatic backstory like an uno reverse card. Saying it isn't a ploy to garner sympathy when it wasn't necessary to begin with, it serves the opposite effect. You're being called out of some nasty sh1t, and your response is to bring out some trauma that isn't related to the scenario that you're in? People who fake these things insult those who are already gone, who have legitimately made an attempt and didn't get any love or help, it's sickening.
I made a couple of attempts myself back in the day and was pretty open about it. You don't have to be clinically depressed to do it. People go through this differently, some people are hiding it and some are more of drama queens.
@@BooguyTheAdept but the thing is, these celebrities, they weren't really open about it in the first place. Only when they're caught in some trouble do they reveal their supposed traumas. Like people are already on to them and all of the sudden it's the perfect opportunity to bring it up? The coincidence seems a little on the nose isn't it?
@@BooguyTheAdept you're not wrong but for these people, once they're caught doing something terrible all of sudden they bring up suic!dal tendencies like isn't that weird? they just want to find excuses and bullsh!tting it all cause they are now caught and they didn't want to apologize for it
The whole """"apology"""" stinks of narcissist. It's all me me me, all OH IM SO SORRY which is saying "IM THE REAL VICTIM FEEL BAD FOR ME" while trying not to look bad. The performative hyper apology and weaponization of mental health struggles is textbook.
Crazy that the people defending Niosi went with "cancel culture". He literally admitted to doing the heinous stuff, that's not being cancelled that's just the consequences of your actions.

The fact that he said in his tweet, announcing he was dropping his role that his actions weren't a crime just shows that he feels absolutely no remorse and that he is not someone who's been trying to change for the past 5yrs. People like him lies and are manipulative and they're good at it. He should never get a job in voice acting ever again. It's like you said; it's just to get people off your back because you are cornered. His ex nuked him twice. He figured if I threaten to self delete, I will get pity and sympathy. Some people never change.
as a general rule of thumb, it's a fantastic idea to be suspicious of anyone accused of doing incredibly bad things who also decides to post their apology online. That's not how you deal with this stuff and just sets you up to play the media game more than anything
I can account for how gross, awful and just genuinely terrible a man he is. His personalized apologies are self serving, and the fact that other victims who he never made apologies to have come forward having never been apologized to should tell you what you need to know. There's also the fact that this all came up last year very recently in reference to TFS who all of their members ALSO were lied to by him and he hurt them too. What I know of him and have experienced is nothing however compared to his ex's and others. Their voices are the most important in this whole situation.

"who even uses tumblr anymore?", well, people like me who don't like twitter or any of the other big socials. it's not really a place to be to become viral or popular because tumblr popularity is a bad thing, it's also just about the only website where you aren't expected to staple your government name to it (in fact I think you get made fun of if you have your government name on there). Also neil gamen has a tumblr last I checked Also don't go to tumblr we don't want it to become like twitter due to people who use twitter coming over.
Hi! Regular Tumblr user here. I legitimately think Tumblr is the only decent social media site these days. But on the video; I don’t think that Chris can never work again, but he should really work in a place that keeps him out of the spotlight and into just a regular joe. The best thing for him to do is to stay low and out of sight for the foreseeable future. Social media fame isn’t for everyone, and it’s very easy to stay anonymous online. He had his shot and he blew it. If Chris really has changed for the better, then he needs to stay offline and continue to do better. It’s clear that social media is not healthy for him, and should really stay away as much as possible. Forced career changes are hard, but it is doable. If anything, he’ll be even more of a better person by expanding his skill sets and learning new things. Who knows, maybe he might find something else that he really enjoys and actually find true happiness. Not… whatever this is. Voice acting just isn’t in his cards anymore. It’s time for him to fully move on and find new things to take joy from.

@@MeowMeowMeowX3333 This isn't true at all. In an actual court of law, this would be solved with court-mandated treatment and a parole officer.
Everyone’s like, “CHRIS NEVER COMMITTED A CRIME” even, Chris saying so. But 5 years ago one of the things he admitted to was jumping all over his ex whenever she said no and pouting while she attempted to reject him. Which, considering her description of him jumping Al over her includes the word “groping” specifically, that’s sexual assault in the form of molestation. He literally admitted to that in his apology with no rebuttal, unlike her birthday rape allegations, instead admitting fully to her account of these repeated events. Which means, when saying he’s never committed a crime he either, A) is lying and forgot he admitted groping her against her will or B) even after all this supposed “work” he did, he doesn’t recognize that groping someone against their will is a criminal sexual offense because in his mind it’s not “bad enough.” Either way, I call BS.
also why is voice actors for hoyo games just being exposed as predators left and right genshin players never beating the predator allegations still to this day.
@@cheezy_weezy Not Hoyo, the 3rd party agency. Hoyo is already managing production and advertisment for like 5 games, thinking they should be taking care of the side of the games that concern the EN community doesn't make any sense.
Hoyo themselves do not cast the characters outside of CN, for JP, KR and EN they outsource to VA agencies who does the hiring. The Agency who hired him is responsible for giving him the role. which could also be the reason why the VAs who are defending him might have gotten their roles.
Throughout his apology before he gets his ass blasted by his ex, it is FULL of tiny manipulations and emotional barbs aimed at her to make her feel bad and paint himself as the victim and the one who is not the bad guy. It's hard to notice, but once you see it it's like a glaring light or ants in the kitchen. I've no doubt the rest of the apologies are like that too.

FRR I WAS LIKE "NOT HIM!"😭
23:53 This is such a crazy thing to say because he already did.
I just want to say that there's a reason Chris's side of the story is considered BS. so many crimes occur simply because the perpetrator doesn't believe it's a big deal. like when bosses commit wage fraud and then act like they hadn't realized it was "such a big deal" and "created a hostile workplace environment."
no, you knew. most people know that pressuring your employees to work for free is bad lol, it just didn't seem to you like a big deal bc you weren't acting like a cartoon villain. it was 'oh would you be a dear and work overtime' and then continually forgetting to pay overtime pay, not 'i'll fire you if you don't work this shift.' chris thinks that because it was 'oh i'll just show her some love after work' and not 'i'll leave you if you don't let me touch you,' that what he did was not taking advantage of her.
this is why boundaries matter. because it's easy to soften your own crimes in your head, but if there's a boundary (or wage laws lol) in place, you know that no matter what you think, you can't cross it. if you intentionally disrespect boundaries like how he did with his girlfriend, forgetting about the rules about drunk stuff or forgetting about her wishes to be left alone after work (or bosses forgetting about wage fraud laws), then you leave yourself open to justifying anything heinous.
@@BradleytheDavis skill issue tbh, even childhood trauma didn't get me to turn into a disgusting being!! y'all stay safe tho 🙏
@@BradleytheDavis exactly.
"That didn't happen.
And if it did, it wasn't that bad.
And if it was, that's not a big deal.
And if it is, that's not my fault.
And if it was, I didn't mean it.
And if I did, you deserved it."
Chris's denial of the fact that he SA'd his partner and took advantage of her in his apologies is clearly a "And if it did, it wasn't that bad" type of justification in his head.
unless you've lived isolated from all of society your whole life, you should understand that when someone tells you about their hard boundary, tells you to stop, you should stop. with people like Chris, someone who has a slew of victims and a history of ignoring the wishes of their partner, even after countless times of being told to stop, the behavior goes from a plausible mistake to a deliberate decision to repeatedly disrespect and minimize the people around him. these types of mental gymnastics are not hard to do, in fact, it's often more convenient to do so.

@@aure0521 To be fair. The proof that he has not changed afaik was that he did not properly apologize to all of his victims which does not really constitute "he has not changed" statement. If there was any proof outside of that then I apologize, I am not aware of anything else.

Interesting... Tell me more.
(It is still a good video, though I think it may be a bit too early to have created.)
According to some of his victims, who tweeted regarding him in July of 2024, he neither admitted to most of the terrible things he did, and he continued to abuse someone after he was caught. (Though his apologies were deleted, I did find them again, and compared to the things that were levied against him, his was heavily sanitized.)
I could try to compile some of the things he left out in his apologies if you'd like, though I suppose it could be triggering for some folks.
Whether or not this is true is not yet known since that person hasn't exactly spoken up (from what I know.)
However, based on his behavior, I wouldn't be surprised if he hasn't. Considering his abuse of others that has apparently been going on for approximately 15 years before he was caught.

Mentioned in the video already
How hard is it to be a good person? Like you don't even really have to be good just a decent person.

I wonder if this is the rumor Brax heard when someone told him to be careful of a certain VA.
They just hired this VA, highly doubt it was them. It was probably Diluc's VA.
@@GummyDinosaursifythat didn’t have good evidence, i still think the VA is hidden and we don’t know yet
Dang, well one thing is for sure: with him deleting all apologies, he surely didn't INTEND to press "post"
Crazy that the people defending Niosi went with "cancel culture". He literally admitted to doing the heinous stuff, that's not being cancelled that's just the consequences of your actions.
My reaction: Can we not have VA drama, FOR FIVE MINUTES!
Tbh if people didn't idk... idolize them so much the industry wouldn't attract the worst narcissistic and predatory people. We gotta stop doing this we need to celebrate a performance not the performer so damn much
@@pr0ntabHonestly this idolization of voice actors seems like a new thing to me, no one really used to care or see them as celebrities back in the 2000s 😅
JP VA fans be like : Huh thats new
I'm being so honest, I truly can not comprehend why people in any position can't just be nice and respectful
Truly baffles me
I'm so happy Byleth ended up being voiced by Zach "WINDBLAAAADE" Aguilar
Zach is a much better fit for Byleth, I agree
@@kosmic100 also needs way more roles, Aether doesn't talk enough to put food on the table.
As for Sunday's va well, he digged his own grave, I believe he already lost some job opportunities. Blaming the victims for not forgiving their abuser.. tsk tsk tsk. Especially when the abuser don't even feel bad about any of it.
Girlfriend got abused. Didn't talk about suicide.
Man's the one with issue. Talks about suicide.
Sounds like every single guilty person likes to use that as a reason to keep everyone's mouth shut
Not to mention the guy constantly downplaying what happened and being very vague
Got some extra details on the Team Four Star stuff? I only really know about LittleKuriboh being Nylocke on the TOME reboot.
@@mayborneflowerI only knew that Chris was in Final Fantasy VII Machinabridged as the voice for Biggs. I don’t think he even got more than 10-15 lines before the character was killed off. Though knowing what he tried to do to his ex, his last line being an oral sex joke about Jessie’s slurred speech hasn’t aged well.
@@Cure_Hana That was him!? A shame too, that was actually one of the funniest highlights of the whole thing. Mostly for Jessie’s reaction being the punchline.
I like the tumblr culture that lets me just look at people way smarter than me making an entire essay about my current interests without having to separate it into 100 posts.
Also neil gamen has a tumblr last I checked
Also don't go to tumblr we don't want it to become like twitter due to people who use twitter coming over.
I find it funny how once the toxic side of Tumblr moved to twitter
Tumblr became a better site
Having posts remain so long someone reblog it is a double edge sword for good and bad.
Neil gaiman s3xually assauIted at least two women so him having a tumblr isn't much of a benefit toward tumblr....
Ngl but Amy clapped back with her post against her ex boyfriend...I hope that the VA gets replaced
It’s time for him to fully move on and find new things to take joy from.

bro acts like voice acting is the only job out there 💀 bffr
u think he will get accepted in any other job with those things he did?
@@thenexus633Yeah dude, there's always work that needs to be done. I don't care who does my plumbing, who delivers my mail, or who does the accounting at my local coffee shop. There are tons of jobs where people don't give a shit about your background as long as you get the job done.
@@MeowMeowMeowX3333 This isn't true at all. Most jobs will do at least a cursory background check; especially plumbers & accountants, for instance, who require a great deal of trust to get their work done (going into people's houses and touching their bank accounts).
The whole "banishment from public life" thing that we use to deal with abusers is both wildly impractical and also just straight-up doesn't work. It's a self-soothing behaviour for internet drama hogs who want that clean-burning dopamine from righteous anger.
Which means, when saying he’s never committed a crime he either, A) is lying and forgot he admitted groping her against her will or B) even after all this supposed “work” he did, he doesn’t recognize that groping someone against their will is a criminal sexual offense because in his mind it’s not “bad enough.”
Either way, I call BS.
saw this on twitter and immideatly went "oh no not again!"
also why is voice actors for hoyo games just being exposed as predators left and right genshin players never beating the predator allegations still to this day.

Not Hoyo, the 3rd party agency.
Hoyo is already managing production and advertisment for like 5 games, thinking they should be taking care of the side of the games that concern the EN community doesn't make any sense.
@@Regulus_Dreamer yeah i posted that comment without watching the whole vid sry
I wonder if they even research the people, or if they just see his resume and went like “he’s so popular, your hired”
I've no doubt the rest of the apologies are like that too.
getting two Hoyo ads back to back after clicking this was an experience
