THIS WORKS. Took 7 days for my battery to die. I don’t wear my watch often but when I do I would have to charge it and It would over heat due to it trying to update messages and anything else. Guessing this is the cause. You need to leave it charged after the battery is fully dead for 10-15 min then you’ll get your regular charging screen back. THANK YOU !!!!!!
It worked for when my watch was overheated. So I had to wait for it to cool down for like 15 to 30 minutes and then it now works again!!!
Hello I have a question, will it automatically boot up during the time when it is charging?
So it will take up to 4 days to charge it back?
I’ve just bought a Series 7 today and straight out of the box it’s showing the cable charger on the watch screen. I’m not amused. I’ll be taking it back tomorrow.
Did the other one work ? I have the same problem
@@ericksilva5253 I think I panicked a little too early. I left it on charge for an hour or two and it stared working. I think the battery was completely drained. I wasn’t expecting it. Usually Apple products have some charge to get you started.

Hey I face the similar problem...the battery doesn't get drained out after a week also....still the red snake appears...any Idea how long would it take to completely die?
It will take days, so be patient. Please don’t try to connect to the charger until it drains completely. This helps to restart the battery. If this doesn’t solve the problem then you need to replace the battery.
When i take charge off it shows a red when i put a charge to Watch it shows a green. Is that good?

Mine showed up dead with Red snake brand new
