Wow! Martha what a great idea I have a collection of ties and was hoping to see a tutorial what i could make with them now i have and need to have a go. These will make wonderful presents for family members at Christmas.Thank you so much, looking forward to your next project.
Martha I've made 2 purses so far but where the handle goes its a mess. Why can't I get that turned lining to go over the cording so my purses look nice n not cobbled. I don't know what I'm doing wrong. Purse looks great but at the handle it's a mess.
The key is to leave a large enough seam allowance when you sew the top to the bottom so that you can fold it over neatly. I'll admit it's a challenge! Don't give up!
This tutorial is intended to accompany the pattern which is available on etsy at Marthasmarket. I have sold a lot of patterns on etsy but every once in a while people have suggested a tutorial so I put this together to help explain the pattern. Hope you can benefit from it.
