I died inside while I was watching you ruin all those precisely machined surfaces with a wire wheel. And then i was just "fuck it, he doesn't know a thing wat he's doing" when you started polishing them. You know the meme? (polishes machined surfaces of a dovetail) Oil: "am I a joke to you?"
Man I thought my mill looked rough! Great work Aless, like the color!
It is bitter, you Tage a messing brush. Cool video💪👍
Excellent Job especially your safety features on your first part
How many other people remember the green paint on new equipment? Looks like fun, thank you for sharing.
That color green is the color Grizzly machines use.
Nice. Going to be restoring my drill press once the weather breaks. That's a nice machine you got there.
Nice job, thanks !
Thank you for not rattle canning that thing ❤️
coming along nicely!
Gonna be a sweet machina, I can already tell.
part 3 ? im not gonna to sleep , till u put part 3 man ,
i'm still waiting zzZZz....
Second video and I am digging your channel and your still Aless like some one else said great music selection. Even better work.
Good song I love it
Back ground music is very nice
Awesome job
Very good and beautiful job with the best result. Use a paint stripper, it’s easier and more fast than the wirebrush. My opinion.
And more healthy. Next time I'll use the paint stripper. Thanks john!
Parabéns. Seu perfeccionismo é admirável.
Excelente trabalho!
Bautista Viamont
You've definitely got to 86 that music
Thank you for sharing the passion Alex. Subscribed!
Nice results and awesome music 👍
Hola Aless,
I'm impressed with your project. Love the music and sound-effects - very creative.... What county are you from ? How did you learn machining/metal working ? Many years ago I had 2 tool & die makers working for me - both from Columbia. Both very fine gentlemen, but needed to be updated a bit in terms of their set-up and machining procedures.
Time to subscribe now for sure love the content. Good work
Great video man thumbs up
Linda musica,lindo trabajo
Que buen trabajo amigo. Estoy deseando ver la segunda parte. Saludos.
great! looking forward to the next part :)
Musiknya enak asik 😁
Wow so much hard work.🙂
Estupendo vídeo
Que clase depintura usastes.i cual color.grasias

God bless Bro.
Bien, bien! Por cierto la pintura de cine!
It's alive!
Rapih sekali
You should test the paint for lead next time.
Pozdrawiam z Polski.
like the music...*
Ya no existen las arenadoras?
time for another song man damn
What is the stuff that you are using at 5:00 and which type of compound do you recommend to make the metal surface shiny ?
What was the compound you were mixing and applying? Was that to fill damaged areas?
What a beauty. They dont make decent machines any more.
What is the name of that crazy tune???!!! It's stuck in my head now so I might as well know what it is.
Nice job. Restoration
I wait part 3. And please at the end show complete machine.
Does this song remind anyone else of the film jeepers creepers lol
Aless, you maybe compromising the squareness of your machine by not using chemical process of rust and paint remover, on all of the critical parts of the machine, such as your ways and bases necessary to have those areas square with the world, one never uses a steel scouring brush on these areas.
Hello Eddie, I know that I should not use steel brushes in the guides, but these were in poor condition in the front. The front part was not rectified, only milled. I did not use the brush on the side areas of the guides that are rectified. Also, I checked that the brush did not scratch the surface. In the future I will perform a scraping of the guides to improve the operation of the machine, but I still do not have enough knowledge to do it well. Thanks for your comment and constructive criticism.
@@AlessGonzalez Aaah, I see. Well, you took up a big task, which is always a good place to start, when wanting to learn, because you get the hard part of the way. Also, always remember if you ever make a mistake, that is as good a tool as anything in your tool box, now that i know, and understand more of your plans, Good luck.
@@eddietowers5595 Always bite off more than you can chew, right?
Hahaha, well yes of course, machining being the epitome of “more ways to skin a cat”, you bite off the biggest end, then work your way into the (apologies) creamy center. Lol
Hello....why you didn t use sand blasting???
Yeah thats the old days they like that green my granfather masien whase that colour too
Estupenda adquisición y concienzuda restauración. LIKE 👍
Can you show us how you mix your paint?????? More paint stuff
The painting is hammerite martele. I mix it with antisilicone to avoid the formation of the martele. The finish is metallic and looks very nice. I'll upload more videos painting stuff:)
Love you work but you should not polish the ways, they need a certain roughness to trap oil in. Ideally you would surface grind them but for a budget option use a good quality wheat stone that is nice and flat to smooth and remove rust.
In all honesty I wish I could do what you do Im a armchair commenter.
Restoration means scraping and flaking the ways, if you don't do that its just a paint job.
Get real.
How much scraping have you done ? What did you use for a straight edge ? Did you use Prussian Blue or Dykem ? Since the ways are Fe based - you could use CuSO4 and the Cu flash as an indicator - right ?
Please show us the machine(s) you have restored....
Eres un artista de seignor?
y la emsamblada para verlo armado
Nice restore. Had to mute once i heard the MumboJumbo music.
Looks nice. Grinding lead paint? Next time use paint stripper for your own health.
I didn't know that was lead painting. Next time i will use paint stripper. Thanks James
👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍
Please someone send back ground music url
Name Song ?
Funny use drill mill to restore a drill mill
Do something with the music
Are you wanting another? I have some I want to get rid of.
How or where did you find that ANNOYING MUSIC ?
@@AlessGonzalez Ok.
Any one name this song plz
ProleteR - April Showers
Sndblasting 🖒🖒🖒🖒🖒
Love the videos but if I never hear that April showers song again it’ll be too soon.
Use a sandblaster.
Y U NO SCRAPE ??????
I want to do it, but I do not have enough knowledge right now. I will do it in the future
Aless Gonzalez without scrape it is just for museum, but not for a work
Like the video, detest the music. Why not narrate instead
also, you may want to use a rubber mallet on the edges of any areas you taped of, the rubber mallet strikes these areas of the masking tape, cutting the tape to the size you need, and easily peels off the excess it's a nice project, but your process is painful and cringey to watch, yet, I can't look away.
Name song?
