Hey, Joe! I’m smoking a rack of ribs tonight that I cooked sous vide for 24 hours. I saw this notification and I figured it was a sign to tell you this dumb tip. I wanted to periodically spray my ribs with some apple cider vinegar, so I grabbed it and a spray bottle. I looked at the 16 ounce bottle of ACV from Kroger and thought “I’ll bet that the top of my dollar store spray bottle will screw right onto the ACV bottle” and it did, perfectly. It’s not an earth shattering tip, but I thought it is cool. Now, I’m hoping that you don’t say “never use ACV on your ribs” in this video now. 😄 I’m looking forward to the premiere!!!
I've done something similar to that before!! I spritz w ACV and water so you're good. Check it out and let me know what you think. Spoiler Alert.. they were all pretty solid!🍻🍻
Hey there Joe, well by the eye test I kinda favor the contestant slab of ribs. Usually you can't go wrong with salt, pepper and garlic especially on beef ribs but I myself found out there's lots of better rubs. On pork ribs I prefer some sugar and plenty of paprika, garlic and pepper. But when it comes to beef absolutely no sugar cuz it takes away from the delicious beef flavor Imo. But in all thanks for sharing this great video Ps..... I'm about to bring my smoker back out early now that all this crazy ice has melted in my area and cuz my Niners made it to the Superbowl.....Go Niners!!!! Yeah it's all about that "Dirty Red" baby 🎉🎉🎉❤💪🏾
Hey there!!🍻 I must admit that rub was pretty dam good... that brown sugar did a lil something extra!💯 I agree with you there are some dam good rubs out there, I been trying to not buy no more cause my spice cabinet is a bit ridiculous! Lol. I almost forgot you a Niners fan... I can't even hate, yall been balling. Dust that smoker off and do the dam thang, ain't no way if my team was there I wouldn't be turning up! I'll definitely be watching!!👀👀
@@KillerMillerQue I never have that problem but I'm only cooking for myself. You are cooking to show people like me how to cook, much different. I'd be happy to be a taste tester but you're quite far from Chicago...LOL
Man that brown sugar was everythanng! 💯 I appreciate your support bro, and I'm actually gonna cross promote you in one of my upcoming videos too (hopefully you don't mind) I need to turn my community on to my personal chef (when I make it big) 💯💯
Great video Bro. All of those ribs looked great. I’m glad you liked that rub. I’ve made it a few different ways also. If you use coarse sea salt you can go a little heavier when applying the rub. You’ll have to send me your mix ratio on that Killer Miller SPG so I can try it.💪🏾💪🏾💪🏾
I got u.. good looking on giving up that winning recipe... don't be hating if you see it on some oxtail soon and I'm out here w dem 🥎🥎! "In every wayyyyyy" 🤣🤣
How do you tell when your ribs are finished cooking. I know some people use the bend test and others go by internal temperature. I’m just wondering how you do it. If you go by temperature, what temperature do you shoot for? Excellent video!
You know I've never taken temp on ribs, at this point I just know my times and temps to gettem home. But earlier on the bend test will tell you everything you need to know. Initially I'm just getting smoke in on the meat and getting my color right after around two to three hours ibflipor wrap for about an hour after that they're usually good unless I'm adding sauce at about 250ish. Bt when in doubt Graber in the middle w some tongs if they don't flap a little they not ready
Love your channel. I too have a Lone Star grill and live here in the valley. Where do you find your wood for yours? Only place I’ve found sells small 6” sticks and chunks and I’m constantly having to add wood to my fire box. Looking for a place that sells 12 to 14 inch pieces of cooking wood. Any suggestions would be much appreciated.
Thx Joe!👊🏿 I order mine from azwoodfarmer.com/ they deliver and stack it.. can't beat it. I don't know what part of the valley you're in bt there's a few Wood yards like this. They'll have big boy splits.. Smoke on!!💨💨💨

One of the best parts of cooking ribs is trying out new rubs, at least to me it is. Really enjoyed the video, thanks!
