Scott is pretty good, better than most. I'm a Tigers fan, but I like to think I can still be objective about who's the best at it. I probably listened to around 2/3 of the Locked On hosts of MLB teams. IMO, Sam Olbur of Locked On Cubs is the most entertaining to watch, followed by Javier Reyes of Locked on Padres... keep in mind that I haven't listened to every host of Locked On in MLB.

Ant believe I really heard you say not a lot went wrong for the Tigers in this game. 3 hits. 12 strikeouts! Thank goodness for Skubell since the offense was only offensive except for Perez. I love they are winning but you simply cannot overlook that terrible offensive performance. The moment almost was looking too big for the young hitters.

Tigers won but were hardly impressive - they were pretty flat offensively and the "no strike" calls that went Meadow's way in the fifth (when it looked to me like he absolutely went around once, anyway) saved their asses. As a matter of fact there was a man on base for the Tigers in the fifth who was there because of a blown call that should have been strike three. Skubal is always great but the Tigers need to be on their A-game the next 5 games. They really won this game by the skin of their teeth - if anybody cares. I posted this elsewhere and people's head's exploded - just the truth and I am a die hard Tigers fan.
ESPN has playoff odds at 87.6% for the Tigers. Amazing run by these guys!!!

Even though my gut says to rest Skubal for the playoffs, I want to see him get the MLB Triple Crown. Anyone else feeling conflicted?
Personally and I think Tarik would agree with this id 100% rather have him contribute to winning a playoff series then an individual award. It would be great if he could have both but ones very clearly more important.

We need a new first baseman. Yesterday’s showing by our current first baseman was not good at all!
Our current 1st baseman saved a lot runs with his glove in the last 2 months
If we make it to the next stage, I'm slightly worried about the offense. We're winning a lot of low scoring games based on pitching, but that's a lot of pressure on our young guys. The record, however, speaks for itself and we're hot at the right time. Cautiously optimistic we can actually make a run if we finish strong.
Playoffs? The Tigers get no respect for the heater they've been on. I watched a national show that spent a lot of time being shocked at the collapse of the Twins and Royals. New goal for audition season: Punch a ticket for the playoffs!
Do any of these guys ever consider making changes in the batters box? If I'm Torkelson I'm moving up in the box because I'm getting a steady stream of breaking balls and if I move up in the box I can catch that breaking ball before it breaks into the other batters box. If I'm Riley Green, I stop swinging at balls at my feet. I would like to see some adjustments made by either the coaches or the players themselves given the fact they are about to enter into the playoffs.
KC wins in 10th on an error, 1-0. Washington truly does suck. KC will sweep those clowns, the Tigers need to keep winning.

I agree we need to address catcher. But Rodgers has done a great job calling games with this staff. Day in and day out. Be careful for what you wish for....
The Twins have the Orioles and KC has the Braves. The Marlins have been in spoiler mode and KC is on the road for both their final series. Looks very good to me.
Realistically, the Tigers will almost certainly reach the playoffs if they can win three out of their final five games.
Magic number is 4.
