How about you put Carp in the outfield, a platoon at DH that heavily features Tork, and Parez as your 4th outfielder. That gives you the Va-J-J platoon at 3rd. This team can be OK, but it will not be a contender until Jobe/Clark/McGonkalwhateverhisnameis get settled in. By then, you will have a full readout on Tork/Jung/Sweeney/Kieth/Meadows. That's when you spend the money to bring in the one or two players you need.

Perez will make the team, the Tigers will not be signing any big name free agents.

Carpenter is also a corner outfielder. He bats L. Perez can bat R. We already have our R handed outfielder. So, why, again, do we need another R handed outfielder?

Look at the career progression numbers for JOSH Jung (starting 3B for Texas Rangers). Discounting injuries, is it reasonable to expect a similar career progression for little brother Jace? If Tigers sign Bregman (~6 years, 200$M) does that block Jace for the foreseeable future? Or do you shift Bregman or Jace to 2nd base next year?

Hey Scott, I totally agree with on Torres against righties. His only saving grace is the OBP but we'd like somebody that can more regularly drive in Parker to bat second against right-handed pitching!

Meadows , Riley Green , Carpenter is a tremendous outfield. I don’t understand, and Jung at 3rd will be just fine. I have a feeling Tork is a great clubhouse guy and will have a breakout season.

Bregman is on the decline, we only need to make sure our pitching stays healthy, the core will get better, I believe Tork will do alot better, Greene will be better Jung will better Tigers are good to go.

I disagree, the tigers have Perez as right fielder and veirling as well . They are committed to these young guys and injuries is variable .pick up on waiver list player if needed. This team is gonna be better this yr !

I will say again, tigers getting breggman is a waste . He's on decline. Tigers have Vierling and Jace Jung . Mix and match is tigers best scenario. Finding a corner outfielder would make more sense with vierling able to play 3rd base unless they are able to sign Bregman.

AJ doesn’t like to stack three lefties, so I really doubt we’ll ever see Parker, Riley and Carp as the top 3. I think without an additional bat that Torres is the automatic 2 hitter.

Thank you for reinforcing the need to stop the platoon circus at third. Bregman is not perfect, but he stops the comedy routine.
