I may be wrong, but I think Martin played a total of 8 different instruments in this one concert, 2 of which he made himself, and Evelina and David each played 5 instruments.
Now that is an incredibly talented band.

To this day Starmachine2000 is one of the most uplifting songs I ever heard. Still hoping for a comeback tour!

My entry point to Wintergatan was the marble machine song, but I fell in love with them as a live band.

This music brings back so many childhood memories, i used to got to a musical school playing the horn, and there was music coming out of every room while i was waiting for my lesson to start and i remember allways looking through the keyhole of the door of those guys playing orchestra xylophone, absolutely amazing.
Dude, right at the end there - RAGE against the machine - totally money - Never said this before in my LIFE - but... GO SWEDEN! You guys have every instrument there - amazing group of talented musicians. Keep up the good music ;)
Ok I play in a UK rock covers band (hobby not pro) and I tell you the wonderful marble machine has brought me here to hear you guys play. You are sensational and extremely accomplished musicians! Please come to the UK and somehow bring that machine with you, I would love to hear it and you guys live!!!

every time i watch this i'm always amazed by the number of instruments each person can play.
they all look like they are having a great time playing anything.

Vern Hibbard, generally yes, but the States could very easily fill a venue of this size, probably even larger with his popularity from RUclips. But at the time of this concert, probably not unless he was part of a music festival.
You have never seen a more original set performed. I don't care where you call home, these kids made their own rules on this night. Amazing stuff this. Music theory taken to extreme levels. Awesome performance!!!!
This group's music brings joy and peace to me no matter what time I am listening. It's so pure and it's amazing to see the multiple skills of each band member. I came across them only a month ago but I'm happy that they made such music.
Long back I used to get similar feeling listening to Yanni and Kenny G.
Seems to me GOOD musicians are ALWAYS much better live than in the studio. Music comes from the heart and from the soul and the best music comes from those who really feel it and feed from the energy of their fellow musicians and the audience. It really is a beautiful thing. 2018 resolution is to go and see more of my favourite bands playing LIVE. Can't wait for Wintergatan tour of 2019! You guys ROCK. thank you for everything so far.
You wouldn't think that these instruments would sound good together but no these guys have an incredible inventive and unique sound.

Scott Linden if nothing else is 'less boring' then this is the 'most boring' thing you've ever seen. If that is the case you should take up bingo. Or maybe underwater basket weaving. For godsakes, just the whistling alone makes this one of the top seventeen least boring things since the invention of the slinky.

Gosh, this is beyond any band with vocals. They make all the instruments to sing in the most beautiful way possible. Could watch this my whole life. Those guys are genious in what they do...
What was that? Prog Rock, Music Box, Synth Pop, Classical, Blues, Metal, Funk? I’ve never really heard the like. And playing a theremin in live performance? That takes real skill. Haven’t seen anyone pull that off since Jimmy Page. Oh, and not to mention Martin playing an instrument HE invented (as you do). Incredible. More please.

Keep coming back to this, great blasting in the car on the way back from work, had to sit and wait till the end when I got home, amazing. Can't wait till the MMX is done and they tour, hopefully not long now!

Somehow this band remind me of Sigur Ros band from icelandic but Wintergatan came with their own style. Love it!!!

I really love this long Spieluhr intro, i think its better than the LP Version of Sommarfågel, what amazes me how tech savy these guys are, they could sample all those sounds and probably play it easier, instead they go exactly the opposite way and go analog as much as possible.

Songwriters write music for "artists" and it's all repetitious nonsense. Overworked tracks that make the sound engineers the true artists. While Wintergatan not only create their own instruments, play multiple instruments, create an artistic feel and scene. You may consider what I said to be negative, and I can see how that may be true. If you have a band, group, or whatever here in the states and you are making millions and it is up to par with true musicianship, then good for you.

One cannot walk down the sidewalk singing "today's music" without being arrested for profanity.
