This driver was amazing at my fitting. I hit all the new major 4 that dropped along with the TSR. Had the best ball speed, and the face tech definitely works! I have the Ai max d and I’m finally able to draw the ball with my driver. I would highly recommended going out and hitting this driver.
I have been gaming the Triple Diamond 3 wood and driver this year. I have felt so confident on those longer shots. The 3 wood is so consistent and the driver is surprisingly forgiving. I like the look better than last years model. I definitely think I made a big upgrade from my previous clubs.
Love the New look would of like to have seen the all over Camo finish on the head cover and the return of the sock to protect against bag wear
I was lucky enough to get the TD max for the AI smoke. I dont think I've ever been so consistent with a driver in my life. Ball speeds are up, spinrates are down, dispersion is the tightest, and carry distance is up.
I have the opposite view of the esthetics. I thought the Paradym driver looked better but I like the head cover on the Smoke better. I have the Ai Smoke Max and I really like it. It's very forgiving and occasionally I smoke a driver as long as any driver I've ever hit, but it doesn't feel that much different than one I didn't hit that well. My last 3 drivers are the Ping G425, the PXG 5th Gen, and the Cobra F9. All good drivers and pretty long with a good swing. But this Smoke Ai truly is one if those clubs where slowing down my tempo really gets more distance. I recently bought the Paradym X 3 and 5 wood and they look awesome and are super easy to hit. I haven't tried the Smoke Ai 3 or 5, but I can't imagine how they could be any better.
Would have loved to see you use the adjustable loft sleeve on the Triple Diamond and go up 1 degree. I think a little night launch and low spin would be a bombers paradise.

From what I’ve read, I believe the Jail Break was not used this year across the line.

I was fitted and they put me in the triple diamond. I had no problem with dispersion when they put more weight in the back of the club. When they put more weight in the face I started slicing. I hit the max well also but I have not problem getting the ball up and actually wanted a little lower flight and a more roll.

Now for me it might be worth getting because I have Callaway epic speed driver 2021
I have the Paradym and it improved my drive. Can’t wait to try this one.
Just ordered the ai smoke. First strike with it during the fitting and i knew. The sound feel and look are all amazing. Not even. Huge call away fan boy it is just an awesome driver
Not trying to be picky but there are four heads, as well as the three you mentioned, there’s also the Max Fast. This is as I’m sure you know is a lighter driver for the slower swingers. For some reason very few of RUclips testers want to mention this head, oh also non of the new heads now have jailbreak. Callaway have now moved a way from this technology, at least for these drivers. 🤷♂️ just saying.

This is a nice driver, but I like the looks of the Paradym better. That blue is super cool. When I was fitted it came down to Paradym X and TSR1. TSR1 was a little further and better dispersion. I'd like to see how the Ai Smoke stands up to TSR. Most videos I've seen where Paradym was compared to TSR, TSR ended up 'winning' whatever that means. I haven't seen any Ai Smoke videos beat the TSR numbers vs Paradym. A head to head will be good to see.

I will buy a new driver one day. But not this year. My personal favourite is (still) the 10° Titleist TSR4 🔥
Prices are out of control. I bought new Mizuno irons in November, I bought brand new on a demo club sale. I cant afford this new stuff. Golf is expensive enough as it is without these insane prices.

I feel your pain on prices. Luckily for me I knew I was going to get a new driver this year so I saved. But it was worth every penny. Ai smoke D driver has me drawing the ball for the first time with a driver. It’s insane technology

Considering the gains in the course of 5 years or so with technology which was a great video that you made Alex with the Taylormade M range I don't think that I will bother buying another driver until the ball change in 2030…
What is the point?
When that ball change comes in we're going to need a different type of driver to optimise distance through launch conditions and spin etc
I feel this ball change could be the kiss of death to the industry over the next few years.
I won't be buying anything new.
Apart from a new magic wand /putter from Scottsdale Golf which is coming on Friday. I'm trying an armlock.

I personally find the whole “AI” branding is a little bit cringe-worthy, reminds me of every tech company jumping on the latest buzzword of the time.
But, I feel this could hurt them a littl…if this is meant to have been designed by AI and is and seen as the pinnacle…then where can they go with the face from here (aside from having to make an adjustment to it when the rollback comes into play)?

Just came out of a driver fitting and the Max D was the one to rule all drivers. Just for reference I swing around the 100 mph mark and play off 5 so don’t make the mistake of not hitting this bad boy
I really like the looks of the face and the top of the driver, but when I first saw the bottom, I thought that it was scuffed badly. Hopefully, that is just the way it shows up due to the lighting on the video. As far as the head cover is concerned, that would be a big NO! I think it would look dirty in a very short time, due to the white color. Also, Callaway put three huge "Ai SMOKE" logos on it. That seems like overkill to me. If I could afford one, I would love to try it, but for now I will stick to my PXG,

@@CharlotteK2008 if top companies are still using 'AI' in their branding two years from now I'd be very surprised. I'd also be interested to see what the AI is actually doing. Measuring where thousands of people hit it on the face is not AI.

Even in combo set old technology, even pros are using hybrids in the long irons, so amateur certainly should be, would start irons at 5 maybe 6 iron earliest. So not for me

This AI is just another marking tool, the AI Jailbreak was the advance and now disappears on this new driver. TaylorMade and Callaway are just using beamed and AI tech for marking. I have the Paradym max but gone back to the Rouge ST.

Callaway's head covers since the Rogue have been hideous! Get rid of the white out of it. Why didn't they go with the marble blue that matches the club with the original Paradym and with the Smoke marble instead of white on the AI Smoke driver. It would have been a great selling/ advertising point.

Love the look of the driver. Callaway make the mack daddy drivers imho... The only terrible thing about this club is the head cover (and maybe the price...)... It should've been a black and grey camo... to go with the smoke name...

The triple diamond max is amazing.
The glare on the top of the driver is to much on a sunny day. Might and wait 12 months and by the new new AI smoke bad boy as there will be another money sucking product on the market but wont lower there prices for the "year old" one. Complete rip off. At least ping bring out a new driver every 2 years.plus you should get a 10-15 hcper to try both ghe old and new paradym and she hiw much difference it makes t a true golfer not the elite. I bet its a couple of yards at most
