Seeing as your videos are already pretty edited, I don't think it would be too much of an effort, and people around the world would know what you're talking about without having to translate all the units you mention :)

I agree day geckos are amazing, and yeah, good luck catching them if they escape, mine has escaped a few times but luckily he's developed a liking to me and knows who I am, it wasn't always like that though, when I had him as a baby he would just run away from me, but now that he's nearing 10 years old, he's developed a fondness of me and has a personality towards me as well vs other people, I wouldn't trade him for anything, he's been amazing.
I adore my leo. She’s genuinely the best leo I could ever ask for. She’s easily becoming one of my best friends ❤️❤️ I missed my dog so my boyfriend actually got her for me while in college. I’ve been wanting a Leo for YEARS now, and I’m so happy to have her
I think mourning geckos are really cool. They can eat crested gecko diet, you can keep them in a 5 gallon since they are tiny, they are all female and can breed alone, and they will do great in large groups.
The knob tail gecko looks so cute, oh well let’s start with watching videos before I do anything lol. I have two crested geckos and one leopard geckos currently.
Awesome man! I'd like to see a video on a mixed species setup like someone else commented. The only one I currently know of is certain iguanas and tortoises but there's gotta be more out there. That or a video on amphibious pets even though your channel name reflects reptiles. Very interested in different types of salamanders in the pet trade. Tiger salamanders are my fav but I'd like to know about more types of good ones as pets.
I miss my gecko, I sold it to a store since I was moving. I loved him, and would often let him go roaming over the home. Feed him crickets, I loved watching him more than tv. Funny to, I do have geico insurance, but not because of that.
Wrong info on Gonuirosaurus - they utilise height when offered it and you should definitely look into a 45cm cube as a minimum, you'll often find them upside down on the internal roof of any rock cave you give them and they are great climbers despite not having toe pads. If you put them in a larger enclosure and watch them at night you can see how active they are. If you want a similar gecko that doesn't need the height then a Coleonyx Elegans has very similar requirements, just add a litte more heat. They do climb but only to grab prey, C. Mitratus is also suitable
I know this seems like a really dumb question...but can you use blue roll in a leopard gecko tank...like the massive rolls of blue paper towel you see cleaners and schools use..?
@@WickensWickedReptiles Oh thats great! Thanks so much for the reply!! :D Love you and the channel by the way, you have such a great personality, stay safe
What’s a good starting price for leopard geckos? I’ve heard they can be old for $20-$40 but online they’re like $70-$400 and I don’t want to go to PetCo for one
Hey I have a problem with my crested gecko. He is very stubborn when it comes to food. He wont eat crickets that are dusted with calcium. He'll strait up *REFUSE* Crested gecko diet. He wont eat blended up fruits like banana, mangos and ect. Its gotten so bad that I have too dap some food on his nose so he'll lick it off and eat it. I give him lots of hides and plants with daily spot cleaning and I give him light too. He is about 3 years old and use to chow down on his food when he was younger but now he doesn't really eat. He used to be at a healthy weight and now he is very skinny. I dont want to force feed him by shoving a tube in his mouth. Any recommendations at all,I'm almost all out of option's and I want him to live a long healthy life and not starve himself to death.
My Garg is now 8yrs old. I got Dimitri as an 8 month old from a shop who was having trouble convincing him to eat on his own. For a couple months I tried all the gecko foods and feeder bugs I could get locally, he would eat a few crickets and no noticeable amount of dry or various amounts of water added to various gecko formulas including 4 flavors of repatshi. Only licking a tiny amount off his nose I'd put there with a baby syringe. He was my first not strictly bug eating species, I got scared he would die as his lost visable condition in that time. I took him back to the shop and got a diffrent lizard insted. Fast forward one year and I saw a local add for a garg with pictures that looked exactly like him. They were rehomeing due to him not eating well and loosing interest. Sure enough theirs story lined up and he exactly matched my old photos. He was still a very picky eater and wouldn't eat any food left In his tank other than the odd cricket. For over 4 years after I bought him back the only way I could get more into him was hold him in one had and syringe feed him apricot pangea mix I had to buy online(first thing I ever bought online)(he hated and wouldnt eat the other 4 flavors I got from that brand and still won't eat them dispite my other fruit eating geckos loving them). I'd start by putting a drop on his nose and then he'd start lapping up his fill as I dispensed it as fast as he would lick it up.(so not really force feeding thank goodness, cuz that sucks) . He was always bonyer and knobyer looking than the ones id see online in pictures of videos, but he had energy at night, some muscles and wasnt loosing weight. when he was finally about 6 years old he started eating the powdered food out of a tiny dish in his tank(still won't eat the mush in the tank, But likes it from a syringe still) he's finally bulked up a little to where I can't see every rib and spine bump. He started the tank eating about a year after I moved houses, idk if that had any influence or not on him, everything else is the same. I'd suggest trying syringe feeding(if you have to sit there for an hour dabbling it's nose with drops from a syringe do it) try lots of diffrent brands and flavors, try diffrent amounts of water added, some like it thicker of thinner than others, offer it dry too(in or out of the cage). Mine still won't eat any fresh, mashed or frozen thawed fruit(even apricots or bananas). I love Dimitri but his pickyness and difficulty to keep fed has made me consider not getting another not strictly insectivore when he passes eventually. That said hand feeding him made him friendlier. My mourning geckos love any of the pangea flavors(with insects is their favorite), and I have bug eaters who only like one or 2 types of bugs :p . Can't win with having all non picky reptiles, even if they try to starve themselves. The "replacement lizard" I got when I returned him to the store for not eating is still doing well. He's now an 8yr old Schneider skink. He is less picky most of the year but every year for about 5-6 weeks in feb-march he go's off all food and looses some condition so I always try to keep him as chunky as posible before this time(easyer said than done with a very active zoomies lizard who only eats his fill every few days-once every 2 weeks thruout the year.. 3 years ago he also did this 6 week fast in late Oct thru November, lost a little condition, ate normal thru Dec and Jan then fasted again feb-march. He was so skinny I thought I'd loose him.he was showing spine and hip bones on a normally sausage shaped lizard. He didnt have much fightor energy in him either.Talked to as many reptile vets as would pick up the phone and looked on lots of forums. I bought the highest calorie food mush from the closest reptile vet 3 hours away and forced his mouth open and made him eat some every other day for weeks until he started figthting back hard and eating bugs again in April. He used to love me and be very handleable. Now he still hates me and hisses(not quite as bad this last year) and won't relaxedly let me hold him for long. I broke our bond but he'd be dead otherwise. I both regret and don't regret force feeding him every day. He now has some issues digesting as much chittin as he used to, so I hve to manage the amount of crunchy bugs(his favorite) he gets so he doesn't get backed up but otherwise he's just a hyper, grouchy older man.
I think the knob-tailed gecko is one of my favorites for geckos. I didn't realize they were an Australian species, no wonder I don't see them often. They each have their own charm though. I think the cave gecko sounds great for more northern folks! Or I could keep it in the bedroom... the reptile room is quite warm, but the husband likes to keep the bedroom arctic. But if we ever lost power the poor thing would roast in Florida.
Have you done a video on communal geckos? I have a huge enclosure that I want to plant and add some small geckos, possibly even dart frogs as well. What's a good cohabitation setup?
The Chinese cave geckos look so cool! I might actually look into them. The only problem is that my house could get too hot in the summer... and my mom doesn’t like reptiles but I think I could persuade her!

What about Mourning geckos? Super easy to keep regarding temperature and food, cheap, even vocal. Not handable though.
I have a whites tree frog, do crested geckos have similar care
My Leo lost her tail tip back in 2019, but she healed up and her tail is only like a centimeter shorter now
The knob tail gecko looks so cute, oh well let’s start with watching videos before I do anything lol. I have two crested geckos and one leopard geckos currently.
I don't see Sarah enough. Little Foot seems to be stealing the spotlight from her 😂🦎
Littlefoot loves the spotlight
I love this video ;) Great content as always Adam!
Tiger salamanders are my fav but I'd like to know about more types of good ones as pets.
i have a 5 lined skink in a bio active got it as a hatchling do a segment on them too plzz
cool!
My dad just linked me this video saying you seem knowledgeable. He’s a little late 😭😂
That's awesome!
If you’re on the discord, you get notified before RUclips does
yep! :)
Well if that ain't the truth I've had RUclips notify me 6 days after a video has been uploaded
Could you do a video on how to make an enclosure for an AFT?
The Australian Knob-tail looks like an anime character!!! Those EYES are amazing!
Would have included gold dust day geckos standings day geckos and peacock day geckos as honorable mentions. Super colorful and underrated.
I miss my gecko, I sold it to a store since I was moving. I loved him, and would often let him go roaming over the home. Feed him crickets, I loved watching him more than tv. Funny to, I do have geico insurance, but not because of that.
Loved this one! I was so wrong, sooo many gecko options! Now to get me a Knob-tail baby.... 🏃♀️
Just wanna say I love your videos! 😆
What is the top right leopard gecko morph on that table? Mine has that pattern with the orange base, light brown stripes, and the speckled white tail.
time stamp?
i went to a reptile expo today and got a crested gecko and its definitely one of my favorite lizards of all time
I am hoping to get an African fat tailed gecko soon but another favorite of mine is the chameleon gecko
How much are chahouas in canada cos there £150 in the uk and $2000 in the us
I know this seems like a really dumb question...but can you use blue roll in a leopard gecko tank...like the massive rolls of blue paper towel you see cleaners and schools use..?
yep!
@@WickensWickedReptiles Oh thats great! Thanks so much for the reply!! :D Love you and the channel by the way, you have such a great personality, stay safe
What’s a good starting price for leopard geckos? I’ve heard they can be old for $20-$40 but online they’re like $70-$400 and I don’t want to go to PetCo for one
depends on morph for sure
Spiny Tail geckos are super cool. If it was legal I'd love Union island geckos as well.
cool!
Hey I’ve been wanting to get a crested gecko and I’ve seen people saying they don’t need a heat lamp and was wondering if that was true?
Thanks for giving day geckos some love!!
they are so freaking cool!
I never knew about Chinese Cave Geckos before this video, and they look amazing!
But if we ever lost power the poor thing would roast in Florida.
knob tails are amazing
Have you done a video on communal geckos? I have a huge enclosure that I want to plant and add some small geckos, possibly even dart frogs as well. What's a good cohabitation setup?

The Chinese cave geckos look so cool! I might actually look into them. The only problem is that my house could get too hot in the summer... and my mom doesn’t like reptiles but I think I could persuade her!
