We just traded in our 2021 Model Y for a 2023 Model X because the ride is so much better and quieter, not only that but with our trade in we payed less than what we could buy a 2023 Model Y for.
Two model Ys for the price of one Model X...economically it's a no brainer. But given depreciation and out of warranty high costs, I most likely would just lease an X 💯
It is not! Not even close! I’d say, get 1 model y now, and 1 in the future for same money, have the same range, get the long range, and spend 2k on the acceleration boost.
I like the handling of the Y personally. The X is too big and the air suspensions make it feel like it’s floating on air with zero feedback. The Y’s chassis feels better and sportier. X for the family for sure.
@@MsChoklit13 It's not just the doors on these, there are a couple long-term ownership concerns on these vehicles. I'm not trying to crap all over these cars, I'm just saying people need to go into owning them and realize there are a few very high ticket item common failures on them.

Indeed!
What are your thoughts on center screen orientation compared to a Model 3?
The center screen is still very useful, however less neccesary since there is a drivers display!
I am seriously considering it, but heard fit and finish is less than high volume model Y, what do you think, quality worthy of the 2 x model Y price?

Yes
Every Tesla technician (current and former) I've talked to says ... avoid this vehicle out of warranty.
Why?
The doors go bad, to the tune of a 13k repair
So you're saying don't get this model because the doors will go bad? Just making sure
