And during New Years they would make Cápirotarda (which we have seen you make) and brunelos. Great food and memories. Do you have any recipe for lengua, menudo or roasted tripe. They also made relleno mexicano which if I remember correctly would be stuffed into the turkey. It was made of dry prunes, raisins, and shredded pork meat, it had a sweet taste. Let us know.

I woke up to the TV on PBS and quickly started looking for the remote until I heard the Frugal Gourmet Chef (Don't ask me his name lol ) say! This recipe is the one that made me go out and buy a crockpot! He had my attention! Here is the recipe for "Beef Brisket Recipe!" (don't be scared lol) 1. Put Beef Brisket in crockpot! 2. Pour one can of Cranberry Sauce over meat! You can use the Jelled Cranberries, just mix a little water with it and thin it out a bit! 3. Dump one packet of dry onion soup mix (any kind you use for onion dip) on top of that. (I blend the two together before the dump) Set heat to low and come back in 8 hours! WOW! Believe me, you will never cook a beef Brisket any other way again! You can cut it with a fork Really! Plus! Believe me this recipe works for all Meats! I'll let you know the out come or your Recipe! Again! Thank You! TED

I grew up in an "out of the can" house, too - I remember it being so gelatinous you could see the ridge marks from the can in it. I didn't have fresh cranberry sauce until I was an adult - it's great stuff! Yours looks tempting!!

Hi sweetie, I’m going to try your recipe. I always made Cranberry Relish. I put fresh cranberries and chunks of Oranges thru Old Fashion grinder you clamp to table. I added sugar, orange zest, ice water and walnuts . Delicious! No cooking😀
