THIS IS A MOCK. THIS IS FICTIONAL. I DO NOT MEAN ANYTHING OFFENSIVE.
Inspiration:
• BBC One 2005 EAS Scena...

As a Brit, i can confirm that my reaction to a second explosion would be “you have got to be joking” too
0:45 0:46 0:47 0:47 0:47 0:48 0:48 0:49 0:49 0:50 0:50 0:50 0:51 0:51 0:52 0:52
“You have got to be joking” is this most British response to a second explosion I could possibly think of
So British it colonised my computer

*you have got to be joking*
😂😂😂 FR
“You’ve got to be joking!”
Y’know, I think the ITV 1 announcer said the same thing when there were two explosions at Fountain Studios.
Hmm yeah when the X factor (and the Xtra factor) got cancelled becuz power outage
Yeah
I laughed so hard at the very quiet 'You have got to be joking.'
At the end, the announcer says “Oh no, it can’t be happ-“
I think the people at BBC One said the same thing 2 years later on July 7, 2005, and for the same reason. An explosion in Television Centre.
But replacing the “no” with “shit”
Oh shit it can't be happeni-
That’s what I’m saying with the “You have got to be joking!”
The Creator could put a technical difficultes sign on the top of the screen (when BBC Went offline)
What happened first two explosions at BBC Cambridge Studios (I think) and now an explosion at BBC Birmingham Studio? What happened here
R u sure this isn't the mock eas one by ocleg?
1:28 - This statement needs changing if you want to make it more real life. What is written here wouldn't have been announced. Instead it would have been something like - "This is the BBC, broadcasting from our Birmingham studios. There has been a large explosion at the BBC Television Centre in West London. Our network broadcasting has now been switched to our Birmingham control centre. We hope to return to regular programming as soon as possible. We will update you as soon as we can on what has happened. Until then, we are going to air a replacement programme, Escape to the Country. Thank you for your patience and consideration.
After the initial announcement and a replacement programme was airing, the BBC would have quickly used the BBC Midlands Today studio in Birmingham to be used as a temporary BBC national news studio. One of the Midlands Today newsreaders would have come on air, on screen to update viewers on the explosion at BBC Television Centre, with possible live coverage from London.
Looks like someones a big BBC fan...
it would have said what it said as they woukdnt have known this quick and could have thought it was a technical issue they wouldnt have been able to do that fast so yes what was said is correct.
also they would not be able too because of the upload
3:10 is where he says the famous quote
3:56 - Why would BBC Birmingham be targeted? Unless this was a coordinated attack on the main BBC regional centres?
Yes
3:31 That's actually my school's fire alarm 💀

your majesy, the second bus has hit the building!

It scared the living s**t outta me lol 😂
Jimmy Savile
Same ☠️
Same very subtle but then *Bam!*
TV license holders revenge.
The cause was later determined to be an employee forgetting to turn off the gas stove and some Radio 1 presenters trying to light their flatulence.
3:31 that sound gives me nightmares

@@YaBoiATEG No problem
Substitute "Bloody Hell!" for "You have got to be joking..."
The effort in this is commendable, for example the way you edited the explosion during the BBC News broadcast was well done but there's a number of major flaws to highlight
1. In 2003 the BBC background wouldn't be grey, more the stock BBC presentation style of the time which wasn't grey would be used, in a hypothetical scenario it would be grey only in an apocalyptic scenario, which this isn't
2. The first choice music is totally inappropriate, you'd have the standard technical difficulties' selection of music from the off which should be easily accessible here on RUclips, the second choice of music onwards is better admittedly
3. ''The BBC Television centre has exploded'' is just really poor grammar, there's been an explosion at BBC Television Centre would be better, there are a number of occasions you've referred to the BBC Television centre as exploded, which is just quite amateur although the voiceover explaining the situation from time to time is admittedly not too shabby at all!
4. The high priority alert is way too loud, I had my headphones on a low volume and whilst I wasn't jumpscared I still thought it was a bit on the loud side, one can only think of those listening to this on headphones at high or max volume because they are doing other things. Feels like you've gone for a cheap jumpscare on this one.
In conclusion there's good stuff in this but major flaws that could be rectified in future scenarios. If you want good inspiration as to how to do realistic EAS scenarios, go to Harvester or MocksTV
Thank you for checking out my video and sharing your thoughts! I really appreciate it. It's good that you liked the effort I put into editing, That means a lot to me.
Anyway, I totally get where you're coming from with the flaws you mentioned. My bad on the BBC background color, I should've gone with the stock BBC presentation style from that era, not the grey one. I used the background from the BBC 2 Paint Ident... And you're right, the music choice could've been better, mostly at the beginning. I'll make sure to use the standard "technical difficulties" selection next time for a more realistic feel. Grammar issues? Yeah, my bad again. "BBC Television Centre has exploded" doesn't quite cut it, and I totally agree that "There's been an explosion at BBC Television Centre" sounds way more pro. Gotta work on my phrasing for sure. I apologize if I scared the crap off you with that high priority alert. I should've adjusted the volume better, especially for people wearing headphones. No more bad jump scares, I promise! Thank you for your honest feedback. It's super helpful, and I'm definitely gonna use it to make my future scenarios! And hey, I watched Harvester and Mocks (TV?) (EAS?) before, they are very good at those types of videos. You're awesome!
@@NorthernWavesOfficialdon't change the music that was real BBC one technical difficultys music and made it even more real so please dont change the music
For 2 you actually didn't probably know this but the music is real BBC one breakdown music they use look at all the other mocks of BBC one breakdowns even the real ones have that music

And nice for you to use the background from the BBC2 Paint ident during the apology messages

It feels nostalgic though. But the end scared the crap outta me XD.

3:12 THE SAME THING AS ITV1!
1:19 What's the name of the music?
"there has been two explosions" the editors must've been caught in the blast.
Imagine seeing this at 10 o’clock at night
A British person like me would freak out at this. I have always had a fear of getting nuked by Russia, we are in risk of that so I'm a little worried but there having like peace talks now so its okay..

3 explosions in bbc?????? jeez, do they really hate bbc that much????????????
Wasn’t there a real life explosion at the BBC in 2001?
There was indeed a real-life explosion at the BBC Television Centre in 2001. It was caused by a small bomb planted by a dissident Irish republican group.
I did know the event by from a public Irish
It was but It was seriously close to the building, not inside it.
Yes by the PIRA.
Yes there was it happened to television centre in 2001 a police force dropped a small bomb next to television centre. BBC News and BBC world started broadcasting from their Westminster studios and all production moved to Westminster. There is a clip of the BBC News 24 news report after the explosion on RUclips
I liked it really much, almost looks realistic! I'll follow if you do more of those :]
then ill do more
@@NorthernWavesOfficial awesome!
It is an interesting idea of a possible terror attack. Imagine the public's reaction to the main British broadcasting channel centres being blown up by terrorists. Guess its another 7/7 stituation.
That ÆÆÆÆÆÆ scared me 😂
that alert scared the shit out of me

PLEASE CONTINUE THIS
BBC television centre has exploded.
We do not no why it’s exploded-
The fact that when they said they experienced a power outage that reminded me of the BBC news incident that happened in 2000
Didn't a bomb actually detonate outside TV Centre back in 2001?
3:25 scared me
what happened in 3:25?

Pity it couldn't happen now.
please transrate to japanese
Honestly, idk why this is recommended to me, sure I find real alerts mildly interesting which is what I thought this was for a literal second. But it isn't, and not just that it's bad. A computer generated BBC voice? You've got to be kidding me, I'm a Londoner and even I know that the BBC (and the public) expect a well spoken northerner. Not Microsoft Sam.
If I was being more serious I'd also criticise the tone and language, as well as the graphics. But w.e
3:32 bro he say aaaaa
Brilliant
The RUclips stock music at 1:11 ruins the immersion for me.
its not youtube stock music
I like this!
In a real wsr scenario, wouldn't it just say
"Oh shit. WE'RE all gonna diiiiiiieeeeee!!!!!!!"?
looks like the ps3/psp background
Is this based on 2001 BBC bombing?
no.

This is the BBC power faliure of 2000 but more extreame
Me and my friends who just had taco bell(I was the first, they were the second and 3rd)
This is very realistic
This video is cool and all, but I really don't like the sound. I know it's supposed to simulate 2000's TV and all but maybe you could've atleast made it not so piercing. Other than that, interesting video.
Analog Horror? I thought BBC switched over to Digital TV...(Lol,I know what it means)
i dont watch tv anyway so its a w for me lol
it's already 6 months since this released, was this based on the real life 2001 BBC bombing conducted by the Real Irish Repuplican Army (RIRA) ?
no
Switch to sky news. They will have full coverage.
