I am seriously impressed by your work. The use of AI Voices, no jumpscares or alarms. It's the most realistic Mocks I have seen. You are very underrated. Keep it up!

This EAS Scenario looks very realistic to what the BBC would probably broadcast in the 90s and it's sad that the ending was subtle but overall this EAS Scenario is good and nice, your EAS Scenarios remind me a lot of Harvester's EAS Scenarios (another EAS Scenario RUclips channel). You've earned yourself a subscriber.

Oh my god that door opening for jersey infections was creepy! Well done!
Really awesome scenario, so many positives, nailed the BBC presentation of the time, scripts were realistic and chilling throughout, excellent voiceovers, the Des Lynam AI voice is perfection, the breaking news of the outbreak in Jersey and the hopelessless of it all at the end were bone chilling.
Three small criticisms though. The first voiceover is a little too quiet, there are various spelling mistakes with the channel Islands text and graphics and the ending whilst well intentioned the voiceover is too calm and robotic with the situation in that moment, however I understand it's difficult to nail this. There was an excellent ITV scenario a few months ago where zombies broke in at the end with proper realistic screaming and death sounds, but sadly that scenario has been lost.
But my small criticisms shouldn't detract from the many positives of this scenario and your work in general. I've seen many gimmicky, unrealistic and poorly made UK EAS scenarios and yours are some of the best.

I can understand with the voiceovers, I was trying something new with the VHS effects as I was told to use a voice effect during the live stream. That's why it sounded quiet.
The spelling mistake I did notice afterward which I will admit, I should've looked at them beforehand. I'm not a strong speller lol.
The end bit will bug me for a long time (not beating myself up lol) I kept trying to zombie noises and screams for a good hour but RUclips was not helping me so I just went for the cut off at the end.
The BBC Sport was actually my favourite bit to in this, I have been a fan of Des, Grandstand and Football when I first discovered it as a kid in 2006 and when looking back at Grandstand recently, I wanted to do something like this and invoke it into an EAS so I am glad you liked that bit too.

Definitely a unique scenario, not an alert based one but rather a news report style that seems quite like what would happen. Great work man.

BTW, I'd love to see more ITV EAS scenarios based around the old regional franchises, especially from the mid 1990s and prior, like Thames, Central, Scottish, Yorkshire, Granada, TVS, TSW, Tyne Tees, and the others.
Loved this! Another top class eas scenario. My only nitpick is with the voice at the end, in my opinion, she just doesn’t sound alarmed enough and it kind of lets it down a little bit since who would be speaking that calmly when bloody zombies are about to eat them. I know AI software is still quite limited so maybe to help sell it a bit more remove her dialogue at the end. Still have the door opening and the zombie noises and replace her dialogue with stock breathing and screaming to show that emotion that AI can’t always provide. But aside from that, still an amazing scenario that perfectly shows how the BBC would most likely handle an outbreak of that calibre.

The end bit was really hard to do, I tried finding like screams or something like that to help the story. That’s why I went with the cut off at the end.

Although it could have been a lot better (like the subtle ending and the reporter being surprisingly calm as a zombie approached her), the attention to detail is insane, man. You deserve a lot more views.

Such a realistic mock! I genuinely thought at 2:11 that WAS Des Lynam talking (presenter of Grandstand and Final Score). Would love to see a Soccer Saturday / Jeff Stelling mock version of this, or that of an incident taking the programme off air. As a fan of the show, I’ve always wondered how they might handle the situation, if something like this ever happened. Please keep up the good work! 😊

Even as a shambling corpse, the people of OFCOM would take great offence to language like this being used pre-watershed. The BBC will have to apologize profusely for this...once they've woken up from their permanent end.

Love it, but again, two nitpicks. Shouldn't it be the "Zed" virus? And, in the 90s I believe BBC used "." instead of ":" as a time separator.
Also, be careful of UK grammar conventions. It's "The government ARE" not "IS", etc.
And spellings. "mobilised", etc. Although "ize" is creeping into UK grammar, at this period of time, the BBC would be using standardised grammar usage.
I assume the whole "zee" virus thing has been caused by the AI voices.

I have to say, this is one of the most realistic EAS scenarios I’ve ever come across, and one of very few that have made me feel physically uncomfortable. Excellent stuff.

For your information. There is more than one Channel Island; Jersey, Guernsey, Alderney and Sark are thr major ones, thete are several smaller ones.
This looks like it was actually set in 1996 due to the layout, instead of the virus being set in 1996 and using the 2023 layout

The visuals and the video quality are eerily spot-on. However, one snag I have is the terminology is way too modern for this era, especially the Major years. Words like "lockdown" and "social distancing" in a post-pandemic-context are very much 21st century inventions. Even "health and safety guidelines", "help contain the spread of the virus", and even "rapidly evovling situation" are very 2000s ways of phrasing things.
Also, "Zed" virus. Literally no-one outside of America would have said "zee" at that time.
