You can see Bono wants his voice to go somewhere but it fails him but it makes it even more of a haunting tune, still a great singer but in his 20's and 30's not many Rock singers could even get near him, beautiful version.

@@SaiAbitathaDUCIC you're confused. It has nothing to do with Springsteen. The original recording of Moment of Surrender had two extra verses that were cut due to the song length. These are the verses Bono is reading. Do some research.
